      Here's my theory.
The TVA, right... is Kangs work yes?
BUT what if... that the TVA is just his kingdom in the quantum realm but faaaar far far in the future.
Cause it's obvious that later he would want to change name and be The One Who Remains to distance himself from the history of Kang down there and eventually erase the memory of himself
Then create the lie about the time keepers and stuff.
Cause we even saw a really close resemblance of the timestream how it was at the End of Time where The One Who Remains is. Only not so refined.
Aaaand time works differently in the quantum realm. So even in the TVA they could come up with a way of making the Infinity Stones useless i guess.
      And it kinda looks similar.
And yes i thought about aaall the aliens species down there.
Well..Kang won and destroyed eeeeverything and then used his tec to pull people from the timeline to work there for him, erasing their memories and giving them a new purpose, not knowing there used to be people and creatures down there.
Oh and we even saw a really early design of the time portal in Quantumania, where they just use it to get back home.
I mean Tony made the Timespace GPS and with the tec from Langs daughter. They could go in and out of time as much as they want and come back to the quantum realm/TVA where time passes differently.
And the Kang from Quantumania, is probably The One Who Remains gone a little nuts from doing the shit for all this time. He says he is older then he looks.
Plus he says, see you soon. Like he knows that THIS version of him is gonna end up here anyway.
      What do you guys think😊

The people in the TVA are told time doesn't pass in the TVA, but they're really getting memory wiped multiple times. This is why Casey can't remember how the floor got cracked, and why Mobius doesn't really remember meeting Obie before. However, because Obie has an isolated existence, he hasn't been mind wiped, which is why he can remember his previous meeting with Mobius so clearly and why he can remember interacting with Loki in the past.

@@kayaleandreaspencer631I would say so. Doctor Who is my favourite show, and I defo was reminded of it regularly through season 1 of Loki, and especially here.
There’s a lot of time-based shenanigans in Doctor Who, like the bootstrap paradox etc in this episode. I think another big part for me is being able to travel anywhere using the tempad in Loki (past/future/space) - the TARDIS (the Doctor’s ship) in Doctor Who is the same, enabling each story to be told anywhere/anytime.
Each episode is generally its own independent story, but each season has an over-arching plot running alongside which culminates in the finale. It has some fantastic plots, incredible episodes and character moments. The show is kept fresh by having a great way of recasting the main actor every few years - not in a “James Bond” way, but an in-story/lore way.
I would maybe recommend trying S1E1 Rose (it does an amazing of introducing the character and the world), S5E1 The Eleventh Hour (basically a fresh start and another good jumping on point) or S3E10 Blink (a sort of standalone story that requires no Who knowledge but I think is universally praised).

All that introduction for Kang, that ultimately we know will be beaten, or at least slowed down in the end is not needed. I would prefer for Quantumania to focus more on Scott and actual heist, instead of being all a tool to introduce Kang. Scott and Cassie didnt do anything new or interesting in this movie. This here, yeah, shows why Kang is such a threat. He can be beaten with an effort, or an army of thousand year old behemot ants, sure, unlike Thanos, who couldnt be just 'beaten'. Wonderful first episode. The way that Spider-people begin glitching in Sony's Spider-Verse animated flicks when they are in the wrong realms is similar to how Loki's time-slipping works. When Loki jumps from a TVA window, what color mail truck is he landing on before he does so? Was a reference to a scene where Milla Jovovich's Leelo does the same thing and enters Bruce Willis' yellow flying taxicab in Luc Besson's bizarre science fiction thriller The Fifth Element. After the credits, Sylvie runs away to 1982 Broxton, Oklahoma. Compared to Norway as it is in the MCU, the real-world town served as New Asgard in the comics when Ragnarok destroyed Thor's home planet. So it's a wonderful nod to Marvel Comics canon that a (adoptive) Asgardian ended up residing there in the first place. Who Is Calling? "Who Pruned Loki? I believe Sylvie was trying to call Loki while she was on the phone. Additionally, according to my idea, Loki was pruned by Loki in the past. Comics-savvy viewers have speculated whether the MCU would explore Ravonna's love triangle with Kang ever since her Loki season 1 appearance. A tape of He Who Remains praising a Renslayer for her remarkable talents that Loki finds serves as the first important proof that this is actually the truth. A well-known Loki theory from Avengers: Secret Wars predicts that the God of Mischief will soon be able to fix the multiverse. As a potent act of atonement, Loki's decision to take leadership of the TVA during the Secret Wars has the potential to transform him into a hero. To ensure that versions of He Who Remains (like Kang) wouldn't exist, however, this would go beyond maintaining the original Sacred Timeline.

Dont forget, that OB also hadnt heard the nickname for himself - "ob" until LOKI heard it in the present, and gave it to him in the past. And The fact that Mobius MAY have remembered the detail of seeing him once, 400 years ago, but its so far back he didnt remember if OB had other assistants, or anything else, proves that at maximum, he hasnt been 'mind wiped' for 400 years, possibly.

Ouroboros is the name of the snake from Greek mythology that encircles the world and bites its own tail, constantly devouring itself. (Similar to the Midgard-Snake from Norse mythology that encircled the world.) So yes, another reference to the time loop.

I loved this episode! Everything about it felt so perfect. Every scene and moment was fantastic! I thought that the writing was incredible, the acting was amazing, and the tone was perfect. All throughout this episode I was curious about what was going to happen next and it just had me on the edge of my seat throughout the entire episode. And I was amazed at just how incredible the music for this episode was, I’m so glad that they brought Natalie Holt back to do this show’s score. And each actor was giving a fantastic performance and I felt like they were all doing an amazing job for these characters. They all felt like they were fully dedicate and invested to their character and their role. And I loved the set design for this episode, I always really liked the style of the sets this show used especially in the TVA, so getting to see it again through new and previously visited locations in the TVA was so great to me. I also thought that the visuals were fantastic, especially the Time Slipping and all of the moments of Mobius in the temporal loom. With its vibrant colors and the way it cast light on everything looked so beautiful. And I really liked the detail of how the temporal energy was slowly burning up portions of Mobius’ suit. And the Time Slipping effect was so graphic and horrific looking it really sold me on how painful and disturbing it must have been. I was so glad to get to jump back into this show. It was amazing to get to see the events following the season one finale. I thought this did an amazing job at bringing us back into this shows story and it had me fully invested with the first couple minutes. I can’t wait to learn and watch more about this shows plot as it unfolds, from just this episode I think it’s going to be amazing. And I loved getting to see and be reintroduced to all of this shows beloved characters like Loki, Mobius, B-15, and even Casey. I can’t wait to get to see more of them as the season progresses. Now I’ve got to talk about Ke Huy Quan as Ouroboros/O.B. I think he did a fantastic job! From just his first scene I already loved everything about him. I feel like he has so much potential and there are just so many places they can go and so many things they can do with this character and there is so much we still have to learn about him and I can’t wait for it. I think that Ke Huy Quan was giving an excellent performance and he has completely sold me on his character and I really cannot wait to see him throughout the rest of this season. And another thing I really enjoyed about this episode was how strong the relationship between Loki and Mobius was. I think they did such an amazing job at bringing us back into the friendship between these two characters. You could especially feel it during the scene where Mobius refuses to leave the temporal loon so that he can be there when Loki gets back, despite the fact it could kill him. And when they first reunited at the start of this episode, it was so heartwarming to see the two of them reembrace each other with a hug. Also I loved how big of threat they built up Kang to be throughout this episode. I can’t wait to see where the end of this episode will lead into next week’s episode. I am very curious to see how this episodes events will lead into next week’s episode and how it will impact the future of this show and its continuing story. I am really loving everything about this new season so far and I can’t wait to see where this story and all the characters involved will go next. I cannot wait for next week’s episode.

I dont usually like the handheld cam bc of the shakiness effect, but in here it was so well done it felt like you were part of it like you are in the TVA following Loki. The practical sets and long shots probably also help with that feeling of 'being' there.
This is the best episode 1 of any MCU shows so far, a close 2nd is Loki S1. I like the approach in this whole series so far, it feels like a 7-hour long movie bc every episode of this show (so far) directly follows what happened in the end of the last episode.

"Time doesn't pass, but experiences still happen."
Basically how time works in Terry Pratchett's Discworld novels when characters are in Death's Domain or in the stable time loop of the "one perfect days that repeats" in the monastery of the History Monks. Stuff can happen with events following each other (although sometimes time can also run backwards). People form memories, but people don't physically grow older.

To quote Bender “WE’RE BACK BABY”! This 1 episode has some of the best use of time travel/glitching moments of all time. The way that Loki, Mobius and OB were all able to have a 3 way conversation across 2 different points in time blew my mind WHILE also making die laughing. Not to mention the absolutely perfect building of tension in the last 10 minutes, I felt like I was watching a Christopher Nolan movie.
And Ke Huy Quan is absolutely PERFECT as OB, hiring him for Loki is one of the best decisions Kevin Feige and Marvel Studios has ever made, and just like Owen Wilson he must be protected at all costs.
Also Loki time slipping looks absolutely painful. Like he’s been thrown into a taffy puller and is being ripped apart while turned inside out.

They mentioned spaghettification, which is what would happen near the even horizon of supermassive black holes. I think that's what they were going for with those visuals. I think the implication is that the TVA is located inside one of these black holes, which is why it's outside the normal flow of time, as time would behave very differently inside a black hole.

If OBIE could really remember Loki in a new change in the past it's because literally. What I explained in the first season, Miss Minutes, is that when you make a change in the lines fixed in time, it does not affect the future of whoever creates it at all. But that may not have happened in Marvel's current lineup during the Infinity Saga, when Kang was in a position to command the TVA.

Crazy looking behind the scenes and seeing that all these rooms in the TVA are pretty much practical sets minus the background of course.
