Great job, love your dedication to keeping the books stable and safe. REALLY like the "Side-kick" I was thinking it would be good for my 45's collection but also I might add a thin soft foam layer to my boxes as well, records or books may not slide as much and won't crush the bottom edge.
Thanks AJ. Doug also has a “trading card” sized sidekick that may be more suitable for 45s. If you store 45s in a standard 45 storage box, the grip of a comic sidekick will likely not touch the top of the box.

Nice digs! I like the idea of making my own slabs but IMO they should add a fourth black side bar that covers the hinges across the top of those comic skins. They don't look uniform with the black border on only three sides and the clear hinges sticking out on top. You have to remove the other 3 sides to open it anyway, so what is the advantage of having the hinges exposed? Maybe it would look more uniform if they made them clear instead of black. It would look more like a real slab too.
