You my friend are a star! Thanks for this, I have set my box up following your helpful video and feel ready to take on the universe!! Appreciate the great video!
If you put the black cubes in the far left box on the Sparrow board (the biggest box) you can fit all the black cubes but 1 (the one in the resource path of the Sparrow board) in the space. It is a tight fit, but it works.
I love a good reboxing video! Thank you. One thing that worries me is the scenario book's spiral being in direct contact with the board (or the overview map, which ever it is). I think so far I'd still keep the shipping foam for that part, to make sure there is spacing enough. (It's probably 1-2 mm short of not being needed?) anyway - thanks again for the video!
FYI, I have 45x68 sleeves from Sleeve Kings and the modifier cards fit perfectly in the small player boxes (without bending or anything). I wonder if those mayday sleeves you tried are a little bigger than the SK sleeves even at the same size. Thanks for making this video by the way. It seems I will either need to only sleeve the small cards, or find another storage solution.
@@somanygamessolittletimesmg7725 I'm totally with you on this. I usually sleeve everything, but the included storage solution with SoA is great and I want to use it as much as possible. Thanks to help from this video I'm now ready to play. I sleeved the modifier cards I need and I'm able to store them in the pilot boxes. Then I sleeved the combat cards you mentioned and store them all in one small PRO deck box that I already had laying around. Now everything fits in the Stars of Akarios box except for that one small deck box. I'm pretty happy with the result. Once again, thanks for this informative video.
I plan on sleeving my game as I go. They definitely won't fit back in the box though after being sleeved. GameTrayz makes some excellent quality trays, but they never take sleeves into account, so they get tossed out in almost every game I have that comes with them. Such a waste. I already found new player boxes for this that have room for extras and sleeves. Finding a replacement tray for the big card one is the next one on my list to be done. If you don't sleeve, the only thing differently that I did with that main card tray was that I separated out the different enemy ship cards and stuck them in between the various attack cards that go with them. I put the pilot tokens in with the character boxes like you did as well as putting the other pilot tokens in with their models. You can also put the various cubes that you need in with the dice in the character boxes. Saves digging them out of the sparrow box each time. The large Planet tokens were the only ones that they don't show you where to put in the rulebook. I think I'm still going to toss the whole insert and come up with a better 3d printed one. Something that supports sleeved cards is kind of a necessity for me.
You actually put the story book in upside down. there is a curved groove in the plastic insert so that the ring binding on it sits down in and lays flat.
i bought my copy this weekend used. It was a MESS! This video helped. I am shocked that nobody is selling an insert for this game! Nothing fits when sleeved. :(
Thanks for the video. I wish they'd included a piece of paper with how to stack these all in with the game itself, so you don't have to go online when you can't figure it out yourself.
That is one USELESS card tray. It doesn't fit the cards unsleeved lol. Game trayz are so disappointing. Thick plastic, sure. Overall placement, decent. Actual room? No wtf lol. This has lid lift without sleeving anything too
Yeah, very true. I have to say it doesn’t really me bother me that much though. It would have bothered me a lot more if sleeping every card was an absolute must.

Thanks! Appreciate it 😁. It’s definitely a cool game 😎.
I wasn’t sure I’d find a re-boxing tutorial. You’re a legend, sir.
Thanks that was really helpful. Was punching things out earlier and feeling a bit confused!
My pleasure :).

Good to know! Thanks 👍🏻👍🏻
I actually just left a few black cubes in each of the player boxes as they will need them all anyway.
Thank you. I received the game today and was in need of a reboxing tutorial. You surpassed that. Well done!
My pleasure! And I appreciate the kind words 😁.

Good point! I don’t have the foam anymore though so it’ll have to do ^^.
Thank you so much.
You're welcome!
Super useful, thanks for posting!
My pleasure! 😁
Thanks for this video! Just got the game today, and I was at SUCH A LOSS as to how to rebox everything!
My pleasure! Took a while to figure out as well 😅
@@somanygamessolittletimesmg7725 you da real MVP. :)
Hahaha 🤣
This is great, thank you!

Cool, thanks for the heads-up!
I think I lean more to limited sleeving than change the storage solution. It seems like a lot of work😅

Ah… to have a 3D printer… One day I shall have one!!
Good tips though! Thanks 👍🏻👍🏻
(And I agree on the gametrayz bit)

Ah, good catch!

Maybe it will happen when they do the reprint on KS, maybe they will address the sleeves problem too.
Fingers crossed!
I want to sleeve my cards. :( Hm. :(
I know the feeling :(

They did! It's the first page of the scenario book.
True! I just made the video for people who prefer a more detailed and visual way of reboxing everything 😁. (Like myself)
