The brisket ,Turkey , n the chicken sausage reminds me of SMOKE 💨 HOUSE DESTINATION in south cali.. 👍👍💪💪💪🤘🤘🤘👏👏👏👌👌👌 definitely going there this spring break 🎉🎉🎉🎉.. GOTTA LOVE “ SAN ANTONIO “ no city like it here in USA 🇺🇸.. 💪😎 lots to do there .. never ending fun.. best place to be ..
Look forward to trying your spot on our next TX trip from KC! Gotta love people on here that use a pellet smoker talking shit 😂. Everything looks great 🤙🏼
I tried them out few days ago, the brisket and ribs were pretty good but not for the price. The sausage (has chorizo in it) was not good nor were the sides. The beans taste like ranch beans. Having to order everything separately ran the price up, for 3 people and we ordered small sides, no drinks. Let's see how long they last.
I’ve never seen chicken wings on the menu. This is my fav bbq joint in town, my only complaint is they don’t have chicken on the menu, would kill for a Reese Bros leg qtr.
You know what would be nice? If you gave a location address. Yeah ...that would probably be a great idea. "We're in San Antonio". WHERE???? West side, East side, South side, North side? Inside the loop 410, outside loop 410? Located near... The Alamodome, near SeaWorld, near La Conterra, near The Quarry? I think I made my point. Either mention the address, or put it in the description 😑😶
These places all just copy each other. This dude wanted to copy the Barbs BQ green spaghetti but it would be obvious so he used shells instead of spaghetti noodles. Schoepf's BBQ in Belton was like "We don't care. We never heard of green spaghetti, but we are going to copy Barbs BQ green spaghetti anyways".
@Nextbesthing81 well, we got there before opening. The parking lot is all dirt and craters full of water. No real handicap access just one parking sign. Anyone with a wheelchair is gonna have a hard time. We had a good spot in line but when we ordered, they had no ribs, no sausage... just old nasty brisket and dried out mini ribs. The so called sauce they have is pure liquid sugar(stupid idea). The flour tortillas were disgusting. They have like one or two sides. They don't have pickles, peppers, and onions like other bbq joints. They nickle and dime you for anything extra. I don't know if the clowns reviewing them are on the level with the viewers and putting on an act or what but from my experience, that place is a joke. Hell, Dickys bbq blows them out of the water.
@@Nextbesthing81 I'm a bbq snob.I've had some of the best here in Texas. From DFW, Houston, and the central Texas area. I know what's good and what's garbage. 2M is on the garbage scale.
@bletchdroshek5984 OK. Give me 2 must try places in Dallas, Houston and Central Texas. My first time in Houston, I chose Killens. It was good but wasn't great. A friend of mine said Franklin's is must try...he said the brisket hype is real. Your insight?
definitely a passable joint but lacks flavor and skill. the best menu items were the poblano mac as well as their sausage. all other proteins lacked unfortunately
Am local to the 210 but never heard of y’all !!!!
Thanks chief firewood for this video! 🪵
Yeah same! Gonna have to go with my dad! 210 reppin
We are fortunate to have this level of quality and dedication, not just in the world, but especially here in San Antonio. GO!
Really the whole state of Texas you guys are truly fortunate
Epic! Chief Firewood is amazing! 🔥
This place RULES. 10/10 would recommend.
Black's in Lockhart is great. Texas is the best in BBQ. Many places i still want to try but most of the neighbors make some of the best ive ever had

These guys are awesome. I was there from the very beginning doing the electrical work. The BBQ is phenomenal.
Looks like another Central bbq joint I need to drive to, thanks for the video.
Yes!!! I went a few years back randomly and forgot where this place was. See y’all tomorrow. ❤
Is it by Harry wurzbach?
Never heard of yall until now. Fasho gonna check yall out .. looks good

Went a few months ago, it was great
See you this coming Tuesday after a Military funeral! I'm from Pearsall South of San Antonio 😊😊
Look forward to trying your spot on our next TX trip from KC! Gotta love people on here that use a pellet smoker talking shit 😂. Everything looks great 🤙🏼

Chicken does not hold well in a warmer thats why. Skin will turn to rubber.
This place is the shizz guys. 10/10
Like. We like to say , like, Like a lot.

Patato salad is my favorite.

South of the Alamodome. Down the street from the Bill Millers
Pablano mac and the okra in the beans does not resonate with us locals, that is too Austinish. But more power to them.
You should give it a try. Be open minded.
Had an old 1920s MCCall,s magazine that had an article and one of the recipes had beans and okra.If they season it well, maybe good.
Disagree on the Mac at least, prob my favorite item on the menu.
@@paulmendoza2651 nah just put bacon in the Mac and the beans. Matter fact, put beans in the Mac LMAO.
@@paulmendoza2651jk looks good
I live in san Antonio 😢. All we have is dam near Mexican food up the ass. I feel as thou i need a passport here. BBQ is a Blessing.

Reese bros was open 2 years before barbs.
Went to san anto and went to 2m bbq. WORST bbq experience EVER. I really wish we would've hit Reese brothers up instead.
What made it your worse bbq experience? Care to elaborate?

@bletchdroshek5984 That sucks. I had them on my radar for a spot to try next time I was in Texas.

@ lmaooo
@@JOSESBBQ Yeah I did not think so. Big mouth with a crappy pellet grill.
San Antonio has the worst bbq. Go to Austin, Lockhart, luling
