In a town called San Benito in Texas, there is a restaurant called Texas Cattle Company Restaurant. If people want a true steakhouse experience, they need to go there. The restaurant is the "go to" after church or work. Great food and service. I have gone to Saltgrass, Logan's, Texas Roadhouse, and Longhorn Steakhouse. Never had a complaint. I always enjoy the food. And the service? Wait times? Come on. I have waited longer at a Denny's to be served. I went to one Denny's and I had to go look for a server. They didn't even have a host or hostess. Bare in mind, waiters/waitresses get paid way less than minimum wage. They rely on tips. Many apartments will not rent to waiters or waitresses because there is no guarantee that they will be able to pay the rent each month. Getting a new or used car is hard for them. I know because I saw this first hand. Why do I mention all this? Restaurants have limited waitstaff because of the low pay. Tips are not guaranteed. Unless you make over $80 a day in tips, it's not worth the long hours and stress. I went to a IHOP one night, and there was only one waitress for the entire restaurant. A man scolded the waitress for taking too long to get him a coffee refill. I guess he did not realize she had 5 other tables to attend to. The next time anyone goes to a restaurant, scan it. If you see limited waitstaff for the number of diners, find another restaurant if you don't want to wait long. And just an FYI, a steakhouse is not a fancier version of a fastfood restaurant.
The Longhorn Steakhouse in my town (Williamsburg, VA) is great! The service and quality is equal or better than more 'perceived" upper tier steak centered restaurants.
I noticed you only gave good reviews to the expensive places . Bad reviews were .this person said this was bad, that was bad .not a fair way to do reviews .

Most steak house issues are from poor management, training, and the cooks knowledge/ability.
Longhorn was a one and done deal for me steaks were Cooked ok but way over salty like it was in the ocean
