In this part of the video he talks about SAN ANTONIO'S big kitchen s and years ago when I was working at HUNTS POINT, the fruit and vegetable section, you talk about massive amounts of food, man when I went in, you had trucks, 18 wheelers ready to come in,and during the day I would walk around on the dock and you had crates of food from the floor to the ceiling packed in.HUNTS POINT literally feed NYC, and my job was to feed the workers and drivers and I had to make a lot of different types of foods, which I did all very high volume and quality on a consistent basis but it was very good experience but what I didn't like was the fact MR CHANG didn't give me reliable working cook's, as I had to make everything by myself, which wasn't very fair, but to make very high volume didn't bother me because of my cooking in the Army and we had to make a lot of different foods for the troops but I had cooked professionally before I went into the Army not a problem, but so far very good video.
In my opinion, their pasta, specifically Italian sausage lasagna is excellent. Pizza and wings are good. They had/have a separate burger joint, the pizza place does not serve burgers, so I'm confused why they're saying they serve both at the same restaurant.
Because the burger joint was closed. So I guess they combined the menus. I think the property is still for sale last time I drove by. It's off WW White.
We do have with meat! As popular as Big Lous is, most San Antonio residents use ground meat as a staple in spaghetti with tomato sauce or lasagna or even Mexican style spaghetti. I prefer meatballs in my spaghetti though lol 😅😂
The pizza has gone downhill. Not even close to the best pizza in town… the best thing on the menu is the pizza rolls. Pizzas are sloppy limp and tasteless. My opinion…

They charge a buck for a glass of tap water and the men's room according to a lot of reviewers is disgusting. Here in Chicago land we have so many amazing and legendary pizza and burger joints, Big Lou's wouldn't last a month here serving what they do now. Big ain't impressive. Good food however, is.
