    I dislike that most useful apps these days make you pay monthly. Netflix and Spotify keep serving new content, so for things like these it makes sense. But a monthly subscription for a glorified alarm clock? Never.

    • @ArthurBrassart
      @ArthurBrassart  Год назад +16

      Yeah, the subscription model is really bad. I don't like it too! I paid a yearly fee. But still, I don't own the app. I own the right to use it for 1 year 😀Unfortunately, that's how it works today 🤐

    • @ArthurBrassart
      @ArthurBrassart  Год назад +1

      Thanks for your comment :) Yeah, a few years ago Pillow had a 1 time purchase model. Now its a subscription system as everyone on the market. Me too i am not a big fan of AutoSleep's Design. It looks a bit weird :D I bought Pillow for 1 year with 50% off - sometime you can find great deals in these applications.

  • @lowellwalters
    @lowellwalters 9 месяцев назад +9

    respectfuly, the most important thing is accuracy. If you can test that, it would make a great video. price and the features are irrelevant if it's inaccurate. I use autosleep bc it came with the phone and I like the alarm, but there are times it classifies me as "asleep" when I'm reading a book, and there are times that I'm asleep for over 30 min that are definitely missed. There is a correction feature that is nice, but the real question is why should we pay anything for apps that give us bad data?

    reading off a script point by point doesn't effectively communicate the difference.
    I actually have no idea if AutoSleep offers snoring/sound tracking/playback since you completely skipped this feature for this app but didn't for the others... Does that mean it doesn't have it?
    A simple approach for next time is to have a table with features and apps so they can be compared,
    expose them 1 by 1 to keep the user engaged and focused (showing the full table at the end), highlight the differences between them (and maybe add your personal rating to for that feature on that given app).

      If you open pillow on you iPhone, you have 5 buttons at the bottom. Choose the middle one. Then in the top right corner, select settings. Scroll all the way down and then a little back up again. There is “about” at the bottom. “Support” above that. “Data&service” above that, “pillow premium” above that and then above “pillow premium” there is “automatic detection”
