I was disappointed with the under-body glow... I thought it was going to be around the sides and front end like I saw in the hype pics from the 1 car in Vegas last year during the burnout competition. I wasn't totally sold on the idea to begin with, but appreciated the "gimmick", and was looking forward to something different. I just think the execution was a fail.
I dont particularly understand it at all. I saw the title pic with no idea prior nascar was doing this and was like um is that for real. I love me some leds but this is a bit weird on a racecar. Yet if I was a driver my car better be able to do a light show when I win or I'm not having it.
I was atleast expecting for them to put it all around the car and pick a color that matches or atleast looks good with the paint scheme but this looks like a pile of garbage

The reason the didn’t put neon under the whole car is because the car front splitter and the side Skirts are almost touching the ground. Had the put lights there u probably wouldn’t even be able to see them. So that’s why they opted to put the lights under the rear deck lid.

This is the 1st Allstar Race that i didnt see on TV in Prime time, they had a re run of Empire up here in the North East!!! Glad Dirt Vision was Live last night !!Now thats Racing !!!
They were just trying something new. I doubt anyone who wasn't paid to say they look good, would say they look good so they hopefully won't be making a return... hopefully...
They need to go to different tracks often though to make the All Star race special again. It helps baseball’s All Star Game stay fresher. Also, to make it more willing to do anything to win, they should add a points element to the winner as well of each segment or for the top two to transfer to the final segment and eliminate 3-4 guys after each segment like they did before maybe.
They should have made the final stage about 5-10 laps longer though. And the first stage about 5 laps longer and the middle segment maybe 5-10 laps longer. I think at Texas they need to not have long segments since that track is so follow the leader after just a few laps.
I think the underglow is cool, very IMSA, however If theyre going to use lighting, I think they should let the teams choose the colour or better yet, (like IMSA) have light pods on the side stating which position theyre in
@@The_Puckster it would look better if it was everywhere or atleast on the sides But the colors worked well with only a few paint schemes if the color complemented the paint scheme and went all around the car I wouldn't hate it but the whole concept in the first place is kinda outdated and in my opinion and doesn't really have a place in this style of racing.
All the hype for not what I was expecting.. Of course Chase Elliott fans will think it was an amazing race. I myself am an elliott fan. However race over all I thought was boring.. Another follow the leader type race the open was the most exciting part of the night. Guys racing for a purpose..I'd personally like to see the Xfinity guys have a all star night. They have had the better racing this year.

Overall, this 2nd All Star race at Bristol is alright so far. It’s nice to see Chase Elliott win the All Star race along with him earning $1,000,000! :P
Defintley a snooze fest...with all the “tweaking” they’ve done to Bristol in the past years I personally can’t really Can’t say I’ve seen much memorable stuff from there. Shame with all the hype I was hoping for an actual race
Brian Wells was good from the seat but not as many crashes as I thought there would be but they were wheeling them they need to do it at martinsville next

Ok, what am I missing? What's with the underglow lights? Next thing you know they'll have hydraulics on them and doing hopping contest in pit lane as part of a pit stop.
Overall, this race was a little disappointing in my opinion. Don't get me wrong, the race had its highlights, but there weren't as much as I thought. 6.5/10

Those lights under the chassis of the Ford's, those were pretty sweet! I loved em!
