I'm really glad NASCAR actually changed the tire rule. Logano's pit stop at the beginning was definitely an uncontrolled tire. The arms length rule was just too specific and too harsh. It's almost like you expect the tire guys to have complete control of the tire the entire pit stop. Gotta give NASCAR credit.

The racing was a good one. Lead changes passing top and bottom. Keep side by side commercials because the good stuff happen then. The biggest gripe viewers have is when the announcers have a love fest with one driver or team. No one wants to hear JGR JGR JGR JGR shoved where the sun don't shine for 3 + hours. Or we see the wrecks don't try to change the blame.....we saw it was Denny Hamlin. Somebody needs to pay him back one of these days. He'd wreck his own mother for no reason.
Idk who puts these highlights together, but to me, watching a bunch of caution laps aren't what I'd consider "highlights"
I didn't know that Joey wore glasses inside his helmet. Good to know that is an option, since I have corrective lenses. I wonder if they can create him a corrective visor for his helmet.
Sometimes people work and look forward to the highlights. Naming the winner in the title will turn me, and other people off from watching.

I hate the layout of Phoenix. Ugh. If there was a track that needed limits it would be this one. I have no idea wtf is going on with the lines.
I've been watching races @ Phoenix International Raceway since I went to the 1966 Bobby Ball Memorial 150 Indycar race with A.J. Foyt & Mario Andretti on the front row in 1966 (I know I'm a Boomer, pls save the rude comments) & this layout, especially the grand stands @ the north end is ridiculous. It's like having a football field with the only seats stationed in the endzone. What in the world were they thinking.
Really hate seeing 20 cars dive bomb the apron on restarts. This layout is ridiculous.
@@nathanhubbard8077 Honestly it's much better than its previous racing. Restarts are more exciting and drivers have more confidence to pass more. You didn't have that with the old layout.
@@dylninfiv6275 Tony Stewart once said, in regard to NASCAR changing/tweaking various things to try and produce "better" racing: "You don't always need to have 3 and 4 wide racing, to still have good racing." And he is correct. The type of racing we get now is actually becoming less about the driver and more about whatever the current rule pakage/championship format is being used. It is starting to feel very artificial.

I've been told it's only Daytona and Talladega that they can't drive under the yellow line, every other track it's allowed
It’s called the Dog Leg were you can go as wide as you want in that turn below the yellow
