- In this moment, Ryu has no chance on taking down the Satsui no Hado's embodiement, Kage. While Ryu is on the verge of death, Kage is suprised that he still has the Satsui inside him, transformed him into the Hatred Incarnate known as Evil Ryu. Now the battle begins between the two fighters possessing the power of the Satsui no Hado, Evil Ryu versus Kage.

But short version
After the fight. Ryu: Same attacks? You’re like my Satsui no Hado as a person. Kage: I am, now become one with the satsui no hado, Ryu!
This fight is pretty hardcore. Ryu overcomes the Killer Intent by defeating the source of his evil while being corrupted by it at the same time.
Kage isn’t like Oni. It’s not like Evil Ryu becomes Kage. Kage is the physical manifestation of Ryu’s Satsui no Hado. Evil Ryu is if Ryu ever succumbed to the Hado
I honestly feel like Capcom should bring back the REAL Evil Ryu (not just Kage) in SF5 one day in some ways. Maybe as an alternate mode to select for Ryu or a special/hidden V-Trigger or whatever ways they can think of if they don’t want him as a complete separate character. If not, maybe in SF6 or whatever future games they might plan...
Even though Ryu has overcame the Satsui no Hado and wiped out Kage’s existence canonically by having no fear of him, still, kinda wonder if we might see some what-if scenario or maybe Ryu having some vision in his mind of what would’ve happen if he succumbed to the Satsui no Hado or something...
We will because in sf6 akuma is ryu’s future self.

This is crazy and cool at the same time. The heavy music flows well with these 2 superpowered berserker fighters trying to take each other out. Wow factor is just ridiculously strong!!!

he expelled most of his dark hado but little of it remain with him
luckily he managed to control it before he fully consume him again
after tough training he managed to control it and found true balance of yin-yang
he became "shin ryu"

Kage isn’t Evil Ryu, even though they are similar, cuz Kage is the Satsui no Hado itself purged from Ryu taking it’s own physical form, while Evil Ryu is Ryu HIMSELF if he succumbs to the Satsui no Hado within him.
