The CPU player reacts before the start of fight. is easy to prove, only need use a particular attack or movement before the countdown of the start of fight and you will see the cpu reacts according to the combinations of button what pressed. that means, if capcom use the A.I of daigo for example, is similar to fight vs a TAZ program, is an impossible challenge, because CPU reacts acording to your buttons pressed, and not to animation movements. all i said is merely empiric speculation. sorry for my bad english

Apparently, when making Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Masahiro Sakurai looked at pro players and used their data to make the AI we have now. It'd be awesome to see how that would look in a Street Fighter game, as you would finally be able to fight something akin to Daigo's unpredictability and have to deal with the crazy combos he can do without actually having to ask the man himself.

USF4 was the only SF game i owned for years. I was dirt poor with a video game budget of $0. Got me through some rough times and i still consider it my fave fighting game.
This daigo was probably this biggest problem in street fighter history. He already has a dominating history in SF2 AND 3. Bro spawned in with a ray gun while eveyone got pistols

Freakiest thing is 99% of Daigo's combos are all custom spur of the moment, none of them are established and all of them were just his mastery of SFIV's mechanics.
Back then I never realized how hard some of these combos were to actually pull off. Not really a fan of that type of stuff, I think fighting games should focus more on the mindgames rather than mechanical skills, but it's impressive anyway.
I bought both games recently, one on Ps3 one on pc. Could you tell me what you like about sf4? Since many ppl seem to prefer sf4 too but I can't seem to bring myself to play it over sf5.
@@joviteh6355 From a viewers standpoint SF4 is soooo much more fun to watch, it's so fast paced. SF5 has gotten better since launch but id still watch 4 over 5 any day. Playing wise SF4 is fun because there's crazy combos and like ridiculous ones making moments like that last clip in this video memorable. A lot of those hits are one frame links and people dont get how hard some of that is to do especially in a tournament situation. I'm not saying SF5 is painfully easy but it's a lot more accessible and easier on new players than SF4
sf 5 is really boring. Even playing the game I feel its just going through motions. Fish for your one or two good buttons, confirm into whatever optimal combo there is, and maybe throw in v trigger or super at the end or extend it. rinse and repeat. Then many rounds you just get blown up because there is zero defense. You just block or try to mash a button those are your choices. Guess wrong and lose.
