Just got my first ever DJI drone. The DJI mini 2 SE. By far some of the best camera drones I've ever used! Extremely easy for beginners. If you're interested in the hobby or looking to do drone work professionally, DJI offers drones for air photography, fpv and even drones for agriculture and other use!
I live in Watford North Dakota I didn't know you lived in Minot. Small world lol. But I have a DJI Maverick air. I'm actually looking for the ones you were just showing with the monitors already on the the controls. Where do you pick those up at?
If you rhinknits to loud just go buy the silent propellers for $40 and it nocks it down by 3 or 4 decibels. Makes a big difference. I don't understand why people are hung up on the sound when it's in the air .
Bad idea. Stealth props are knows to shatter and chip easily…not to mention some have stripped the mounting hole. Stick with DJI props. With wind, trees, cars and all the other things that make sound in the environment, at 100 feet up it just doesn’t matter. Not only that, if the purpose of the prop being quieter is to do unethical things, it’s just not good for the hobby. If using a stealth to get closer to wildlife, the difference in sound makes no difference. I just don’t get the idea of getting quieter. I actually want to be heard and seen as much as possible to eliminate any question of being invasive. Lots of lights and stock props. It’s kind of letting anyone around in the area know where I am at and I have no interest at all in what they are doing.
Hit 250-300 ft and temperature depending, you can't hear my Mavic 3 when it's right above you. Throw in a wind and your just a silent UFO at that point.
I have one of these drones. I got a question. How do you return to home? I have land now, but I don’t have return home. Do I have to turn on something in settings?
@@ColinsCapers if your gonna buy the dji mini 3 atleast get the remote version or your better off saving money and buy a dji mini 2 or mini 4k with extra batterys
@@smay12the quality of Mini 3 is better than the 4K or SE and you got longer lasting battery and true vertical angle which is better for social media. So it’s definitely worth paying 150$ more
It is a much more convenient and ready-to-go setup. If you have a good phone, the RC-N1 is totally adequate, but if a faster setup is your thing, it's worth it especially when you factor in the extra buttons and scroll wheel for zoom, exposure, etc. It's worth it if you have a lesser phone that has a smaller screen or a screen that dims brightness quickly.
@@AlvyFilms I got the RC-N1, I like it. It has the advantage of being able to connect to my larger screen iPad pro 12.9, big screen flying is fun. But overall, I still want to get the RC. I want the extra buttons and I want the shorter set up and go time and fewer pieces to shuffle around, and it would be one less battery to keep charged. But I don't feel hindered at all with the RC-N1 it is just another minute or two longer at deployment and stow-away time.
Lots of drones being bought to make videos about drones. Let’s see some videos of what you capture!! Some low light shots that look amazing with that big sensor…some launch or spiral shots….some 4k vs 1080 video. A video demonstrating the sound only really shows me how well my speakers are working on this iPad. Let’s see some creative man!
It should be, it's smaller and lighter. What is funny, is from this video the Mavic 3 sounded quieter to me. The pitch is lower and it at least appeared similar loudness over my speakers. Could be different in person, and is likely way louder at hover thrust.
Bought a mavic 3 pro for pro use last August - have had something usable for just over ONE month in all that time - now having to sue DJI - be warned - spend your hard earned cash elsewhere
@@Siamect I haven't tried it, but as I understand it is possible. In settings you can adjust it where it will only disarm "in an emergency" or if you do the thing with the sticks "at any time". It even warns that doing it mid flight could be bad. But I don't know I'm not saying a switch wouldn't be nice for people who want a switch. If that's what you want then, you probably know that's how you like it set up.
@@adcraziness1501and Quite frankly I'm pretty surprised that FAA managed to write 476 pages of regulations for drones without making a disarm function mandatory. There is a case where a little girl lost one eye when running into a hovering drone... Betaflight and all it's forks put the arm/disarm functions anywhere you want it and disable the stick commands during flight... But neither FAA nor DJI care about little kids so...

Flew my mini 3 up to the top of a 30 story beach condo, took roof shots, then found my clients AC unit, and zoomed in on the data sticker! Woooohooo

mini 3 is bad basicly the same as a mini 2 or mini 4k but a overpriced version mini 3 pro and newer models like mini 4 pro are much better than mini 3

Silly question but have you checked the blades? they could be chipped or screws could be lose?
When you switch blades you need to switch both of them from the same packet. I had this issue and switching blades fixed it

The Mavic 3 Pro was just released this year 2023.
The mavic 3 starts up smoother...and runs smoothly...the mini 3 isn't as smooth.
