Oh my goodness...I gave most of my copper bottom pots and pans to my nephew then have been kicking myself for doing that but God blessed me huge! I was taking my trash out and some one had set almost a whole set of them by the dumpster...I could have screamed!!! I was so very excited! God is good all the time!
Kristin, I love the clothes you bought for your girls. You are such a good mom. Every time I see them they are so clean, cute and nice well behaved. Thank you for letting us be a part of your life. You have become one of my top favorite channels. I love all your content.

No effort, no mess, nor elbow grease involved.🙂
@@dianemunson9698 Its the ONLY way I polish my silver. Years ago, I put in all the elbow grease with a silver polish and cloth, but then I watched someone do this, and now I've been doing it for years.
You are such a breath of fresh air and always a joy to watch. Your videos are so relaxing and you have the most beautiful spirit. Thank you for your videos!
Hi there! A suggestion for the mixer is to look on eBay for the attachments...you can even set a search alert and they'll email you when anything pops up!
Hi,Kristen. Thank you for your great video. Such nice bargains. The Lord never disappoints us. And I love His sense of humor. Always listening for your comments about the Lord. Can't wait to see your new house and how you will decorate. Greetings from Oklahoma. Jane Greene
The long handle copper strainer is one of three pieces from the eighties, made by Home Interior. It is a decorative piece, probably not for actual cooking. I have all 3 pieces and really still love then after all these years!
The past couple of years I started cooking with cast iron pans from Goodwill & I love them. Then last year I found a full set of Cuisinart pots & pans with lids that are beautiful full copper on the outside & stainless steel on the inside, of course from Goodwill. It was an amazing score.
I think that cast iron is probably the best there is because of even heat but they are so heavy I cannot use them 😭all I know is that I have always been taught that stainless steel is good but do not ever cook with aluminum any one can reply here I would love to know others take on this
Good will is a for profit organization, the prices are so high, they are taking advantage of this thrifting craze. Please shop and donate to charity organizations! Kitchen Aid company might be able to replace your attachments....give them the model number and see what they can do. Your finds are fun!! Can't wait to see your home completed. Greetings from North Platte!! Hope you're having a fun summer!!
I have had Revere Ware for over 30 years. You will love it. I’ve also moved away from Teflon, etc, and now use cast iron pans too. You can usually find them in yard sales and flea markets and some of them are worth a lot of money! Great thrift haul!!
Love these videos! I’ve heard that all authentic kitchen aid attachments work in the top attachment (the kitchen aid emblem comes off). Know your bowl quart size. This looks like the smaller one. Target has bowls and paddle attachments. Don’t sell. Even buying new attachments it’s a deal! The top attachment has tons of attachments. Peeler. Meat grinder. Pasta maker. So many things! I love your style.
The kitchen aid is a fantastic find. Be sure when you are buying the attachments they don't all fit. They have a few different sizes, so be aware of that. I don't know how to know what size you need, but I have bought attachments that don't fit mine. I'm sure there are some identifying numbers somewhere, but someone else will have to help you with that. Great finds!!
Kristen, Don't get rid of the K A MIXER! THE paddle that came with mine is the white coated one and in time that coating wears i Off. So i got an all medal one. Just goggle all medal kitchen aid mixing paddle. I think i got it from kitchen aid online. It was like 35, but you got the mixer so cheap . How about the mixing bowl? Just dont get a white coated paddle. Those 2 pic you got oh my goodness. They were in my childhood home. So much stuff you find is right out of my childhood .
Hi. I'm a first time viewer of your videos. I just have to say that when I got married in 1980 I recieved a new set of pots with the copper bottom. The stock pot lid fits the big frying pan. I still have all the pieces and they don't even look worn. Good luck finding what you want. God bless from D. England in AZ
I love to thrift shop and I love to watch peoples thrift hauls. So I really enjoyed this. I have a kitchen aid mixer and they came out with a beater that had a scraper attached and I picked it up at Meijers (giant grocery store if you don't have them in your area). It was KitchenAid packaging. So don't give up. They do have the attachments and mixing bowls that you can buy separately that are true kitchen aid products. My kitchen aid is 30 years old and still running.
When I was in my early 20s and unmarried, a friend was going into a retirement facility and she gave me those same pans. I am 62 and still using those same pans. They have been perfect for me over the years. Funny thing is I'm also looking for the big lid. Hopefully we will both have success in finding one. Thank you for your videos and your sweet spirit.
The lion candle sticks are definitely my style! Also the milk glass bud vases and blue and white vase 😍 My Goodwill has really raised their prices too. My last trip, I saw a crystal bowl for $29.99. My guess on the big copper spoon with holes would be used for scooping pasta from the boiled water. I used a spider web spoon for pasta.
What a haul! Please hang on to the mixer… eBay or even kitchen aid may have the parts.. also google the model number and you may find some for sale. I love the bear!
First time viewer and I had to rewind twice when you said Nebraska 😆 I’m from Lincoln and currently live in a neighboring small town. I’ve NEVER come across a RUclipsr from NE!! How cool!!

Hey Kristen. I love your channel. The Revere pans were a wedding gift when I got married in 1984. The frying pan did not come with a lid. It used the same lid that went on the largest pan used for pasta or soup (stock pot) style. If you find that pan the lid will fit. God Bless!
I clean my copper with plain white vinegar and salt. Make a paste and rub it on the item. Cleans beautifully and you don't get the sickening smell that the popular chemical product has. Going over to Stephanie's channel now. TFS!
The copper item that looks like a strainer with the black handle is a wall decoration that Home Interiors made in the 80's; I have one myself; it is a pretty piece.
Cheapest way to clean silver!- get 1.00 aluminum tray or line shallow pan w/ foil. Scatter couple tablespoons of baking soda, add silverware to tray & pour boiling water in tray. Let it sit. The chemical reaction cleans it beautifully! Rinse & dry. Totally tarnished items may need second soak. You can watch it come clean. I was spending $$$ on Tarnex & have been out. Watched a couple U-tube videos on this method. Works great!
Love the stuff. The girls' dresses are adorable. My grandma had a set of Revere Ware and somehow I inherited the big pot with lid. It comes in handy. Martha Stuart has a video on singing up silver.
I have those exact pots and pan. Well I actually got rid of the skillet bc I never used it and I'm almost positive it didn't come with a lid. I have the big soup pot and lid that came with. I got them new so many many years ago so you won't be disappointed in them. They definitely will last.
Kitchenaid parts are best to be purchase from Nebraska Furniture Mart! That is where I found my parts...beaters and bowls. Also love your blue & white lamp in the background.
Wonderful haul! I bought each of us the larger version of those water bottles (I believe they are from the company Simply Modern)...we like them, except the lids leak a tiny bit...I finally got sick of it (after 3 years!🤣) and bought generic replacement lids on Amazon that don't have the sippy/straw feature and are just a twist off lid. Works much better! No leaking!!🎉 Hopefully yours doesn't leak!💛
For the skillet bottom use Bar Keeper's Friend,,,gel or powder (like Comet), wet pan and sprinkle the Bar Keeper's Friend on it...let set for a minute or so and then scrub. It will come out like new. :) I have found this works very well for me. Good Luck.
Oh you should have a tel # on the bottom of the mixer &/or go online & find the website for the mixer because even though you can buy individual attachment & may be paying market price you will still have a great deal because of the awesome price you paid for the base

Your copper piece is a food skimmer. It's essentially a colander/strainer with a handle.
Another enjoyable video. Thank you for allowing us into your home.
Ps you can get everything from Kitchenaid..even if the attachments are a little pricy..well worth it.
You can find all replacements on Amazon. Stainless steel mixing bowl $59 and whisk, dough mixer and mixer paddle for $27. Happy hunting!

Try to clean the silver by putting tin foil in the bottom of a dish that the pieces will fit in and add baking soda to hot water and soak them.
