Excellent video. This is the most accurate of the Lusitania sinking videos on RUclips. The attention to detail is exceptional especially the one thing missing in the other videos. It shows the lifeboats uncovered and swung out. Captain Turner had ordered this done ahead of time because they were entering a war zone. It turned out to have fatal results. Because of the unanticipated list of the ship, the free hanging lifeboats on the starboard swung way out from the side, creating a six foot gap, that became increasingly wider, between the deck and the side of the lifeboat. Many couldn't easily jump that distance into a lifeboat. The lifeboats on the port side swung inboard against the ship making if difficult to lower as they rubbed and caught against the riveted side of the ship. At least two of these lifeboats swung in and onto the deck crushing waiting passengers in their path as they skidded downward toward the bow.

Some say LUSITANIA and her stern which is the back part of the ship was raising a little up into the sky while sinking as LUSITANIA was listing to starboard. Imagine hundreds of passengers and crews gathering on the poop deck of the stern just screaming for their final moments.

It was much scarier seeing so many people get trapped inside the Lusitania as it sank. It lost power so fast that many people got completely lost in its darkness and its elevators got completely stuck and wouldn’t open, trapping people inside.

One detail I have not seen in any of the Lusitania sinking videos is the sudden stop of forward movement
the ship makes towards the end. When the bow of the 790 foot ship headed downward in connected with the seabed
300 foot below, jolting the ship to a stop. It then slowly sank, pivoting on it's bow buried in the sand
and laying down on it's side the way this video shows.

I don't agree with that
the hull was divided differently to the Olympic class wich gave the tendency to list easily in case of flooding like the Lusitania
at the same time the type of damage was more severe compare to Titanic
