It may be fun too play but if You're f2p player isit worth wasting gems on a fun deck? I guess it depends on what you wanna do! If you're playing just for fun and not bothered about ranking up then yeah go for it!
Not yet, but that's part of the fun, slowly getting new box's and completing decks over time,im over here wishing we got at least one more marrincess card. It's my wifes favorite deck out of the 15 plus decks I play and I'd love to get her into duel links so she could learn the game better but she doesn't want any of the decks in duel links rn and master duel is boring to her
@@MadRabbit0wnzu ah, yes, its super fun having to go through 3 to 5 boxes just to get various sr and ur cards that could have been in the same box, if not for konami giving us crap as sr and ur cards. Seriouslly we NEED a craft system like master duel, but only using box cards, just so konami stops giving high rarity to shitty cards.
I think u should build deck that u want to play if u just want to have fun...but if u want to build deck for competitive,rose dragon deck is not bad...photon deck is currently still meta deck till now,with the new link monster,it is also can consider metas decks atm before komoney decided to do some skill nerf or banlist happen.. Six samurai also can be consider meta now even tho is old deck,is still good deck cause some cards was remove from banlist cards..there is many more,like Harpie deck,red eye deck etc etc Dark magician also good atm,cause of the new link box have the soul trap card thing

If you want to do well in pvp with Rose Dragons though, you will need to spend real money buying extra copies of the Rose Dragon structure deck, as one copy with gems will get you nowhere. Also, don't listen to the reply above. Galaxy photon has dropped off a lot, still strong but much much weaker than it used to be. Six samurai, while cheap when there's a half-gem box sale going on, are not a good deck. They are barely rogue-level. Harpie is decent and very affordable, though you'd be better off building Phantom Knights. Red-eyes are both extremely expensive and even when built are just mediocre, very meh. Dark magician did not get a significant power boost and is fairly expensive. Your best bet as a new player right now is probably building Salamangreats, though they may get a nerf in the next month because of the KC Cup. They are very affordable, and very very strong right now.
In my opinion, digital bugs is actually a good deck to play in ranked duel as a beginner f2p player. most of the card needed are actually R rarity. correct me if im wrong.
Even if they're N or R rarities they don't have that much Digital Bug archetype cards and combining the pack with a lot of other common cards is making it harder to get imo.
I feel link the next main box will be dark based box with raidraptor support, orcust support, the dark machina(unclaspare, possesstorage and resavenger) and the phantom knight link. Don't ask me why I feel like this and this may be completely wrong, but I will post this comment anyway

10:00 the pendulum box does help with dark magician with Ebon illusion magician
and also red hot archifiend for resonators
Resonator is still quite good they just lack of good boss monster

That’s my predicament now. I could continue opening packs for my third Circle, but I probably want to reset the box and go for my third Cynet Mining.

Also it has very low chance to be bricked, especially Rhino not be limited anymore so you can use it with Player Controller
