Agreed, learnt in Uni, but this is the best 4 minutes to consolidate our understanding of database. It covers, what, why, and how of a database in 4 minutes
I almost dropped the SQL class because of this mysterious and ambiguous introduction in the book. But thanks to this video, things couldn't be any clearer. Thank you so much for making things so clear and easy.
EXCELLENT EXPLANATION FOR BEGINNERS! Just one thing....The first 4 minutes is for one audience; the last 1.5 is for a completely different audience. I can't imagine why someone who needs the last 1.5 would sit through the first 4. OTOH I'm recommending this video to folks in my org who aren't developers. It really is a super explanation, best I've found on the web.
Awesome tutorial. Straight to the point, and easy to understand. No intro music, just giving giving explanations on how to use a database. Just subscribed.Thank you.
You know, out of the videos I've watched of yours, all of them where either just as amazing as I guessed or surprisingly amazing. I must say, you keep going down this advertising route you're sure to succeed. 10/10 would subscribe again.
Fantastic overview for somebody who just needs a refresher on Databases EDIT: Me: 4:04 "yeaa at some point we're gonna need a software to better visualize all of this huh" Me: 4:14 "well crap, well played sir."
Yeah, pretty much helpful. Do mind if I know your level of knowledge in the Database? I know it's rather, improper to ask it here but believe me, no pun intended.
@@hyginusalegu I'm taking classes in Database Design and Development and Database Programming....I took an introduction to Databases class last semester
OM! You're so good! This is the clearest explanation that I've ever seen. It all made sense to me now. Btw, this vid was posted 6 yrs ago I wonder what you look like now. Prolly look more handsome & become more intelligent. Keep up the great work. Thanks for this vid.
this is great. saw this last night, and will have this done by the end of the day. will help us visualise our current setup and how we can improve the design and workflows in our new solution. cheers
This video basically answers all my questions about what is these things. My university gave me task to create entity relationship diagram but i don't even know what the hell is even that. how these tables are connected with my website. I recommend all students must watch this video before starting database. thanks man
I’m taking a course on Microsoft excel in the summer, can’t wait! It’s my first year coding. Hoping to switch my major from science, technology and society to database computer info systems
Good ad and tutorial. Explain the basics of a subject, and challenges that come with it. Then with that, explain how your product solves/helps with said problem. Thanks!
Thank you for providing an awesome introduction to Relational Databases. Got a good high-level understanding into what this is all about. Now I am confident to dig in. Much appreciated.
I didn't know I was being schooled. Tell me about writing software documentation in an Agile environment 'cause I really need to know. I'm going to come back in a day or so and check out what you got.
Thank you for this video! I am 100% foreign to databases but this video has helped me grasp a basic understanding of the concept. Still, I don't have the patience to do three cross-referencing spreadsheets manually and translate them into ERD with all that code. Is there like a WYSIWYG app that could just automate all these? Like, get people to fill in their own data on an online form, and data from that online form gets automatically sorted into a user friendly database app where all the entries can get automatically categorised according to tags or whatever. If so, what kinds of apps should I look into and how much do they cost-any free or affordable ones? If such apps do not yet exist, what kind of skills should I look for in a database manager and how do I brief them to construct a database that fits my specific needs?
I must say, this is probably the best Database explanation video I've seen out there.
