    This was great! Especially like the tips on the sinus area and the spot between the eyebrows which I think is referred to as the "third eye" by some. I had no idea it connected to the vagus nerve. No wonder it is so therapeutic. Thanks!

    Thank you for this. I have trigeminal neuralgia and the nerves zap and then my face ends up in tons of charlie horses in my earhole and pretty much my whole right side of my head. This is helpful in releasing the pressure and tightness in my face muscles.

    Amazing how effective vagus stimulation is. I was doing the sinus one before I understood the vagus nerve. It all makes sense. Life making stuff. People need to know this when they learn children's songs. Something so simple and so helpful should not be an obscure find years after a trauma well into adulthood. It's too easy, too useful. .

    Much respect to this lady who appears to be aging naturally and gracefully, but I really don’t think these things have done anything for her face. Fitness of the overall body is key, which clearly she does.

    Quite good but could have done without all the fancy names of the parts of the face.
    Just simplify it for us mortals.

      I like hearing the correct anatomical names in addition to the simple terms. Reminds me of being in yoga class when they say Down Dog and then it's Sanskrit name, Adho Mukha Svanasana

      It's never to late to learn. Long may the anatomy terms continue 🌻

    Why use the balls instead of fingers?

    • @TuneUpFitness
      @TuneUpFitness  3 года назад +1

      Great question! Our soft-tissue massage tools are specifically designed to provide extra grip to add shear to the superficial fascia and soft tissue layers that may be more difficult to achieve using the hands and fingers. Our massage balls also become softer with time providing a soft touch, similar to manual massage. We invite you to try them out to see for yourself! Please let us know what you think if you decide to give them a roll.

      I have exercise balls already. Are these different in some way? I have hard ones and soft ones.

      hmmm no answer. I’ll try the ones I already have…excellent information.

      @@Queenie-the-genie Not sure which balls you have, but for any of Jill's Tune Up Fitness videos using the smaller balls you want to make sure you use balls that have some give (able to yield a bit to pressure but not squish) and that have a somewhat grippy surface. The closest thing is a tennis ball, though that surface would of course be fuzzy rather than grippy. (I'm a certified instructor.)
