      I'm not sure about the windigoo perticularly but it's a common theory that there are a type of unknown or interdimensional ( appearing and disappearing in theory to and from another dimensional plain) creatures in the deep forests, state parks and especially around bodies of water, sited by people for a long time like "big foot" for expample; that have been snatching or kidnapping alot of these missing people. Anyway, old accounts say there were giants on the earth in older times before and after the biblical flood and if you research early 1900s newspapers you'll find so many articles where archeologists duh up old tombs in America and found giant skeletons, sometimes whole families of them, some perfectly mummified and preserved underground. But anyway I believe the theory here is that these creatures are in fact the spirits of these giants of old because biblical text says because they weren't a creation of God, their spirits are trapped here on earth. So I believe they want nothing more but to posses people so they have a Body again. But that's all my opinion. I'd love to here anyone else's. I love to have an opened mind between facts and theoretics

      The biggest proof that David Pilates is completely out to lunch is the fact that he hasn't been shut down, everyone who criticizes or jeopardizes the government or goes against their narrative doesn't seem to have a very long life expectancy and yet this man has been going on and on for years,,,
      I actually live in the Pacific Northwest an area where he has highlighted several cases and I have done my own research and discovered that he when speaking publicly about these things omits plenty of details to fit his narrative, and will ignore the truth to fit his narrative.
      And not only do I live in the Pacific Northwest but I work out in the bush I have seen so many places that no civilized persons eyes have ever seen, I'm in Canada so we're not allowed to just run around with guns and I definitely am not allowed to have a gun at work, I also love to play in the forest and have spent months of my life camping completely alone in a remote Valley, I'm 100 lb woman I have not seen anything that would indicate to me something strange is going on but what I do know is people who aren't experienced Bushman should probably stay out of it, people talking about GPS like it's the end all LMFAO the further you go north the least likely it is to work because all the satellites stay equatorial also if you're in a treed area or a valley it is less likely to function at all. There was a fellow who went missing in my neck of the woods 2 years ago he was hiking alone in the winter on top of a mountain he had all the bells and whistles because he was a good little weekend warrior he went missing,, there were plenty of esoteric theories about what happened to him,, well in the dead of summer when my landlord's boyfriend was hiking that same Mountain and all the snow had melted they came upon his corpse he had slid into a crevasse and the GPS and the search dogs could not locate him under all that snow, most missing person's cases are because people don't know how to deal with the wilderness or there is a murderer lurking in the wilderness.
      Oh and the warn your daughter not to trust police especially if she's mixed in any way because I'm mixed a few different ways and sometimes I look a little too Aboriginal and I nearly ended up on the missing and murdered indigenous list and I can tell you it's the authorities doing it that's why they can't catch who's doing it funny how every girl on a reservation knows exactly what's happening to her sisters but the police can't find who's doing it because then they would have to look within their own ranks and the largest trafficking ring in North America would be revealed but yes they are trafficking girls from the states too. Trust me honey the woods aren't what you should be scared of the humans are

    Granted a lot of these stories have some mystery to them, but I must add my 10c. During my time of training for forest missions we've found quite a few people who wandered off and got lost. Go off trail to take a leak or nr2. Got turned around and within minutes you're in deeper trouble than you realise. Once realisation hits and panic & adrenaline sets in you'd be surprised how fast and how far the average human can travel even in impossible terrain and in a frighteningly short time. Then there are the ones who wanted to disappear on purpose. Depression is a scary thing. Many people hide it very very well. Majority of the time though people just get turned around and end up in very deep trouble. Not saying mystery creatures do not exists. Just saying I've spent years in forests with some scary stories and little to no personal experiences to back those stories up. There was that one time on a mission though. We were stalked and then attacked by what we thought to be a wolf. No wolves in this area. We had live ammo obviously. Quite a few trained guys firing rounds at it with no blood trail to show. Might be that we all missed. Unlikely, but plausible. Never saw it again though. Was a blast writing the incident report. We all had to pee in a cup.

      Jeez I can only wonder what that was. Some may say skin walker depends on where you were, I do wonder about what the creature looked like other than wolf like what species, the size, colour and the like. Cause it could have been an escapee or released from a menagerie foreign critter especially if such places are nearby. Like one of the other canine species although. why it would attack some folk in the forest is a mystery for sure.

    • @truter5243
      @truter5243 Год назад +6

      @Victory Your guess is as good as mine. Ran it over in my head throughout the years and I still don't have an answer. Could it have been a very large dog with a wolf colored pelt that escaped as you mentioned? Absolutely. Although the people we were there for would've most likely used any dogs as food. Not the most morally strong bunch. Anyway. It was much larger than a German Shepard but still smaller than a large Great Dane. It looked like a large wolf. But like I said there are no wolves naturally in that area and even if someone introduced them, wolves don't stalk and attack humans. Especially not if they're alone. I'm not really a believer in "unknown creatures" so my guess will remain Large wolf that can either take a lot of rounds without bleeding much or we were just very inaccurate. Either way, we had to get drug tested afterwards and we were clean. So I can't even blame it on someone pulling a fast one on us.

    The Wendigoon jumpscare made me nearly choke on my drink, thanks lol XD On a serious note though, I always thought that the flood myths saying the flood covered the world was more symbolic in a way. The ancients would consider whatever was their immediate area of their life their "world", like their city, their country, anything outside that sphere was just the unknown, outside their world. So the flood covering their area would totally seem to have destroyed the world from their perspective.

    The fact that green berets showed up to search for a child and they were fully armed and used different coms and searched alone is also strange. And what about the family that said they seen a strange looking man trying to hide from them and had something red over it's shoulder? There's a report made to the authorities about the sighting and they told the man he was wrong . But he didn't think he was and I'm inclined to believe him myself because ifbthe man grabbed Dennis and knocked him out and threw him over his shoulder and took off running it would explain not hearing anything as far as dennis screaming and how his father couldn't catch up to him .

In many vids you say prove it if you disagree or disprove if you don't believe it. If I am a skeptic and I am listening you you and I say something along the lines of "I'm not sure" or "I don't believe it", responding with "disprove it" or "nobody has been able to disprove it", provides nothing to a conversation or discussion.

Basically they ran into a red headed Giant in the mountains it has six toes and fingers and it had an awful odor to it. The Giant killed one of the guys in the they’re group with a huge spare and after they killed the Giant it was carried off somewhere and they were all told never to speak of it. Well all over the world there is Giant humanoid skeletons being dug up all over the place and many people (including myself) think that they are nephilim bones which if you didnt know are mentioned in the bible. But supposedly God whipped them out when he flooded the entire earth (Noahs Flood) They could be living in cave systems, within mountains, or in national parks. Also they are cannibals thats why many people say its them thats snatching people up. Also a guy “died” recently because he supposedly caught one of these things on camera on a mountain in canada and was being pursued by the CIA before he was silenced. MS archeaology student here. The thing is with ancient apocalypse is that the show does put forth archeaology concepts that are strongly backup and is accepted by at least american archeaologists (maybe not euro archs or the historians displine). However, he will present that arch concept and then at the end of each episode he will make his abrupt argument of how this ties into is idea that there was a single tech advance culture that influenced all the other cultures all over the world via a wise stranger/teacher god taught them. He mixes up believed historian concepts with modern archeaology. He treats these "historians/archeologists" as monolithic academics (possible strawmen) villians. Most professional archeaology (at least in America) work for private envromental and CRM industries. Archeologists never really had good PR. A good number refuse to connect the past to the present communities and/or like to engage with history-makeing narrative which is what history/arch programs do. There is an attitude among some archeologists where "why should I engage with media? They don't understand the nuances to past human behavior. I'm underpaid/underfunded (usually working as contractor where OSHA is more likely disregarded) and over worked with a tight deline in a displine that is completely different from the popular stereotype of Indiana Jones and ancient aliens. And I have to mitigate between tribal governments, federal governments, local governments, and the public just to do my job. I don't have time engage with media. I just want to be left alone and study x and be paid for it". Not all archeologists think this way but (atleast in America) deciding as a archeologists to engage with the media you run the risk that you may hurt the living communties/archeological record that you are engaging with which fucks with that finate data, living ppls history, land use, local policy, etc.

      However he did point out something true about current academia, and that is the complete and utter disinterest in trying to see things through other angles, even going as far as neglecting a whole set of evidence since it does not corroborate with the current time-accepted chain of events. I myself didn't continue my career in history and archeology because of that, also Marxist ideology that is infesting the way historians see and analyze history is making studying and developing breakthrough studies near damn impossible. Just see what the archeologists of Europe are using to refute him, calling him racist.... nice way to go showing how stupid and ideology-motivated you are as an institution, and I do not like this! I'm all for academia, I do believe in the scientific method, I do believe in serious and neutral research and I do believe most of all in science, but that must be true science, the ones defended by the previous generation of scientists and researchers, where you are allowed to theorized, to research and question previous truths. Nowadays science and academia are just tools for private interests, to prove points and ideas of the current though, that is why the intellectual class is going after Hancock, not because his ideas sound cooky, but because he is making people question them, and that my friend demonstrates how out of touch these people are with what science truly means.

    • @zerikaz55
      @zerikaz55 Год назад

      There are real problems with academic institutions, and I personally have some issues with some aspects of post-processual anthropology, but the institution is quite obviously not trying to do a cover up on the true deep history of earth. With that being said, that problem is not a resistance to paradigm shattering discoveries. The problem with ancient apocalypse is seeing contradictions between falsifiable archaeological evidence and imposing un-falsifiable myth and oral traditions. Typically when this is the case, we should go with archaeological evidence whenever possible.
      There is a number of explanations for commonalities of flood myths that are taken seriously by archaeologists and anthropologists. There is a recorded human bottleneck event, and that could explain the flood myth and many commonalities in cultural myths.
      For the flood in particular, there is another possible explanation that makes a lot of sense, and it was touched on in this video.
      Early humans universally settled along rivers and coastlines, and a singular event of river flooding during this period would have been apocalyptic for the cultures that relied on those rivers. Mesopotamian rivers flooded regularly and it’s not surprising that the people viewed their gods and vindictive and prone to brutally punishing people for seemingly random reasons, whereas Egyptians had relative stability in the Niles flooding cycle and consequentially viewed the sun god as benevolent and loving.
      Myths are crucial in understanding deep history and there’s very interesting conversations to be had around them.

    • @fvardona
      @fvardona Год назад +2

      @@Lady_Evelyn everything, if you study frankfurt college you learn that a lot of things of academia were changed due to marxist influence. Such as applying the logic of opressorXopressed in various chapters of history, where most of the time wasn’t as simple as that. Example: the myth of the good savage, where white people were devils who erased tree hugging natives very similar to AVATAR of James Cameron, when in reality there were many things that occurred between both groups from actual genocide to trade alliances, it all depends of which group we are talking and where we are talking about. There are many episodes where white people did terrible things, but the same is true to every other human group in history. The fact that what i am saying here if it were said in academia could get me in trouble shows how marxism is rooted in academia nowadays.

    Being a student of Bible prophecy myself, world history, as it actually happened, is extremely important.
    Many many details regarding the preFlood world have been...'blurred'.
    The word 'fall' in the KJV old testament is almost always translated from the Hebrew word 'nephal'. Nephal is an interesting word... because of the rules of the Hebrew language, in the singular, nephal means 'fall', BUT when nephal is plural - nephalIM- it becomes 'of the fallen oneS'.
    The Bible says Noah was 'perfect in all his generations'...and yet the Bible also says 'there is none righteous, no not one'. Which means this is referring to Noah's physiological/biological make-up.
    Genesis 6, in the Hebrew actually reveals two hybrid superHUman 'races'...nephalim and gibbour enosh.
    Gen 6 tells us violence COVERED the face of the earth.... meaning all tiers of life (most of which were genetically warped by this point) were trying to kill each other...so God 'broke up the face of the deep' and 'opened the windows of heaven' (both of which suggest quantum physics btw).
    The math provided in Genesis 5 puts the Flood' occurrence at 1656 AM. Many people find this hard to believe, but considering that average lifespans were 950 years back then, a lot could be accomplished back then...just think of the people who'd still be alive today if we still had such lifespans, and how much more they would be accomplishing...and how the shaping of our present world would be different. With that in mind, 1656 years is actually not as small of an amount of time as it sounds.
    Fast forward, Noah and his three sons are repopulating the world, and not 120 years passes before man screws it up...Babel. Interestingly, the math of Genesis 5 and 11 combined reveals HUGE secrets. The BABEL project was sanctioned 120 after the Flood. The years of the Flood, 1656 + 120 years = 1776 AM. Genesis 11 also reveals that Abraham was born 1948 AM...which means Noah and Abraham were actually alive on planet earth at the same time at one point.
    Looking at Genesis 11 closely, we see God responsded to Babel by encrypting man's speech. Considering that He had just flooded the earth, why was His response to this to encrypt man's speech??? Because the entire catalyst the led to the watchers coming down and corrupting the genome of creation was communication between those on earth and those above...and that's what man was trying to reestablish with Babel.
    Despite this, we read about a resurgence of giants...and the few details of their resurgence all point to Nimrod. And because Nimrod and his vassal kings are wiped out in Genesis 14, the origins of their resurgence had to take place after 1776 AM (2225 bc), and before 2047 AM (1954 BC).
    The Book of Daniel warns us that there will be a final resurgence as we approach the end times...but not giants. Apparently they will look and sound like us...but won't think or behave quite like us.
    It's also worth noting that from the biblical perspective, the hybrids wiped out by the Flood are still here today, in the disembodied state...demons. This explains why demons are constantly looking for a body to possess. This would also explain why the devil worshipping elite of the world are hellbent on eugenics and gene splicing.
    I know many that read this may not believe the Bible as I do. My beliefs are my own, as your beliefs are yours. I'm putting this out there to show that the Bible does provide amazing insight to the CRAZY things we're all seeing right now...and that it even tells what happens next.

      @GraveyardTricks Год назад

      Sure, but this giant idea just doesn't seem to ever get any second thought to it. To everyone, that's it. It's just giants. It's a misconception that's somehow stuck, where as fallen ones actually speaks in the sense of warriors who have fallen in battle. We're not talking about giants, we're talking about literal superhumans. Men who fought like Hercules or Achilles. They may have been a little taller, but not giants. That's who the nephilim were.

    • @scottenosh4548
      @scottenosh4548 Год назад

      @@GraveyardTricks In the English translation, it's very difficult to see there are actually two superhuman races identified. It's easier to spot in the Hebrew and especially the LXX. One being Nephalim. The other being 'gibbur enosh'. There were some GIANT ones out there. The gibbur enosh on the other hand weren't big in size, but in intellect, agility, 'biology', etc. I suspect this is where the Greeks get the Titans and Olympians from.

    Celtic Pantheons are vastly different between different tribes. You were speaking specifically about the Irish, the Gallic was very different ( not Gaelic, but the people of Gaul). There is also ALOT more info on the Celtic peoples, there is a push for the reconstruction of said people. You cannot group them all into one culture. Each tribe is very different.

    When Ron Wyatt discovered Noah's Ark, he also discovered Noah's wife's sarcophagus. His wife's friend discovered a finger bone in the area. Ron stated that the sarcophagus was 15 ft long. And it had been robbed over the years. Nothing much was left. So I guess Noah and his family were somewhat Giant in stature.

    Love the vid, but to be pedantic the Big Bang wasn't an explosion but a moment where spacetime began expanding and before which our physics models break down and can no longer deal with the absurd conditions that existed and the equations spit out nonsense. Also the universe isn't expanding away FROM a point, but the observable universe WAS contained within that unimaginably small point which then, as space expanded, everything started to move apart. The best explanation i have seen is if you have a deflated balloon and draw dots on the 2d plane that is its surface then inflate the balloon there is no point on the surface that everything is moving away from in particular, but rather that the scaffolding so to speak that the dots are on is itself expanding.

      @@TheLoreLodge- I'm a Seventh-day Adventist pastor and a regular listener. I'd love to chat sometime about what we believe the Bible actually says about the spirit, soul, body relationship. Especially through a theme of Bible prophecy. It all applies to these stories you discuss of missing people. We have been warning people about these types of things for well over 100 years.

    I have beliefs that don't jive with a lot of common ideas (they tend to be on the "fundamentalist" side), but I like listening to talk that maybe stories like Atlantis may have links to the over-all tendency for ancient cultures to have flood stories. Also, that mention of the guy who thinks there was an ancient America culture that got destroyed - I automatically imagine it as being some form of Native American anyway. Because it's America. Can I politely point to the South American cultures with quite elaborate buildings and stoneworks? Yeah. That is why.
    Meanwhile, I would love to get a "Pity The Gourd" shirt, but I'm fat, and need a 4XL or 5XL to be able to wear it, and I really want to have someone ask why the gourd needs pity.
