There’s so much to see and do in that area, you do indeed need a lot more time. When I did Robin Hood’s Bay for instance (about 2 hours south of where you ended this one, I spent the entire day on the cliff walk above watching the sea lions, fossil hunting on the beach, and devouring fish and chips. Unless your clutch is 100%, don’t risk driving down to the beach, you probably won’t get back up!! Awesome views in this episode. Enjoyed your goofiness. PS Allegedly, icicles are the perfect murder weapons - in fiction. 👀🧐😎😜🙈🏴 Personally, I prefer them in a G&T. 😉 Peace
How is the coastal sewage situation? It is the only thing keeping me from another UK trip. At least you guys are staying away from tents and frostbite this time around.
Hey guys, I honestly believed that you couldn't have topped your last travel journey videos. However you have managed to turn a trip around Northumberland into a video that surpassed the experience of watching a sunrise over Everest! I think you don't realise just how good you are. The drone footage, the accompanying music (especially of Sycamore Gap) was mesmerising. Seriously, thank you, that was a great video. I still think you are both as mad as a box of frogs for the sea swimming! Stay safe you two. Thank you.
The Tees, Wear and Tyne Valleys are all beautiful, as are the Yorkshire Dales and the Cheviot hills. Honestly guys, take your own advice, slow down - take your time, there's loads to see and do - the Northumberland coast is worth a week from Newcastle up to Berwick and still onwards into Eyemouth, Coldstream, Peebles etc
What a wonderful film of a brilliant part of the country. We have family in Northumberland and often manage to visit. Lindisfarne and Bamburgh are spectacular as you so clearly show. I didn't realise there was a Northumberland 250 even after all of our trips there! Brilliant stuff!!
Another great vid of a place I know well. The guy with a telescope in Kielder car park next to you is a good friend of mine, Jonathan, and was taking some astrophotos during your stay! Lovely star shots of yours too... Try the Forest of Bowland for another great location and also great for dark skies!
Hi Isabel and Tom Loved your Northumberland trip, we go there a lot in the van as its not too far away. They do an amazing music festival at Lindisfarne at the end of August too. Hope you might pop into Coldingham and St Abbs on your way north, that's where I live, lots of history here and interesting places to visit. Happy travels Dianne❤️
Despite living with a Northumbrian all through uni, when ever he talked about how great it was I always took it with a large pinch of salt, turns out he was telling the truth. It’s an awesome spot
Great to see you on the road again, we have done some of the route over the causway etc., plenty of castles in Northumberland as well, must do some of the Wall we haven’t done that yet. Great video as always, you are brave swimming without wet suits, crazy, 10/10. Cheers Mike🍷🍷👍👍
Great video; really enjoyed this one. Visited Holy Island and Bamburgh Castle with my Dad in 1966 when I was eleven! Great stuff; keep up the good work!
😮the drone shots are particularly breathtaking 👏👏👏 "Arse" skating around the temple?! 😳🤣🤣 Holy Island and Bamburgh are some of my favourite places 🥰 Beautiful film! ❤😊 👏👏👏
Hi guys we live in Wallsend which is the end of Hadrians wall, funny eh😂, we spend alot of time in Northumberland which is just a gorgeous area. Glad you's enjoyed our local area.
Beautiful Northumberland 😉, one of my favourite places, you certainly covered alot in this vlog, thank you for the winter wonderful of Northumberland ❤️
Very informative. Love ur choice of music and the out takes. Tom u are multitalented… Taking ur fixer uppers in your stride. You guys are extra cool x God bless x Oh! And the drone shots, just class.

Nice one guys great video. I just spent a week hiking in Spain and now I'm in bed sick. Nice to have your video to watch I really must tour your country I've spent very little time there!
Wonderful video! What eye candy and you always make it so interesting with the historical facts, mixing the scenery up with some vlog style commentary, cooking food etc. And as others have said, the cinematography, the way the shots are done and edited (with music aswell) makes it so great. Very talented and look forward to your adventures to come! (Been following since Norway)
Loved this! We live in Northumberland. Only place I think you missed out was the Cheviot Hills. The Cheviot is one of the biggest fells in England with some incredible views. Maybe next time! 🙂
My pet name for a long term ex girlfriend was loony (meant in the best possible way). You seem to have your own!, love ye both! Carry on making folks smile xx
Beautiful scenery. There was a great 70's band called Lindisfarne and they had a number of hits over the years. Notable tracks were "Run For Home" and "Fog on the Tyne". Take a listen, if you have never heard them. Just great, real music. Fab video, guys.🙂
Was lush to see you guys on your adventure through my home county. So pleased you fell in love with Northumberland and you got to experience some of the great areas it has to offer. Much love, James.
Use to live in Berwick Upon Tweed and this brought back some happy memories. It is a beautiful part of the country and this has given me the desire to go back and visit it again. So much to see, but your video is a nice introduction to anyone who has never been. Stay safe on your next journey.
Well now that was a mighty fine way to get Monday going I was delighted when I turned on the iPad and up popped your video just another brilliant one thanks so much looking forward to the next one 👍🏻🇮🇪☘️
Isabel and Tom. Another fantastic Vlog capturing the beauty of the English countryside. The snow covered hills looked fabulous. I just love the natural and informative narration by you both that accompanies all your Vlogs. The photography and drone footage, 10/10. La Bamba looks right at home 🤗. Hope you managed to get the door sorted.? 🚐👏👏☘
I've only just discovered you guys, watched about 7 uploads so far, what an inspiration you both are, i really hope that you both live life to the full, jealous? YES!, but enjoy every second of it, best wishes
Lol...ur such a goof, Isabelle. I say that in the kindest of ways and cheer in my heart. You have such a zest for life and you express it with such childlike abandon. I always chuckle at your antics, so thank you. Not forgetting you, Tom. I love your desire to truly feel life and to be present in it for every minute by continuing to challenge yourself by exposing yourself to wildly uncomfortable situation. I'm completely impressed with what you're doing in your current video (hiking from Northern Scotland to Southern England. You are an incredible couple, and I sincerely thank you for the effort you put into your spectacular videos.
All your videos are great but this was exceptional. You guys are producing such watchable content - the mix of travel, funny chat, outdoor adventures and stunning photography is hypnotising! Long may your travels continue, thanks for sharing
Norhumberland has so much to offer as does the rest of the UK. Perhaps you could visit each Shire and County, you could you know. Why the hurry though, do you have a timetable to stick to??? Please don't rush it, you may miss the best bits. take care, looking forward to the next vid. xxx
Lovely following the trip round Northumberland. The thing about Hadrian’s Wall is that it was designed/needed to keep the ‘Revolting’ English Tribes in as much as keeping the Picts/Scots out! If you liked the Northumberland Coast element you should try a drive along the North Norfolk Coast from ‘Hun-ston’ (Hunstanton) to Hays-bruh (Happisburgh) followed by a trip round The Broads, but a boat would be better than a Van! English written version in brackets! Lookout for the Easterly ‘Lazy Winds”, goes straight through you in stead of round, they have come from the Urals after all.
Well the English aka the anglo Saxons didn’t arrive into Britain until about 500 AD. Kinda crazy that this wall has been here longer than the English! Would love to get down to Norfolk and explore down there, and by boat sounds extra cool.
@@LostInTransit Yes 'British' is the correct description of the Tribes in the Roman Times, but the shorthand of 'England' gives the Geographical description of their area of origin. They were inveterate 'Revolters' in one area or another during the whole Roman 'occupation'.
Thanks for showing the area in a positive light. It really is a great place to live. No need to worry about parking in Craster if we are around. (Ask Chesca n Ben).
Thank you so much for this video! Northumberland is on our visit list this year so you've given us lost of inspiration and made us even more excited to travel there!
How brilliant was this vlog. Never actually stopped in Northumberland but it looks epic. You make everywhere seem exciting its great to watch you two. There is cold water swimming and cold water swimming and I don't think in the North Sea in the North is something a lot of us would dare to do.Take care
April 30 2023: The six bridges scene is beautiful in the winter and at the end WOW! Isabele you are a very creative cook. I can only imagine in a home with huge applances. Thanks for VPN protection.
Very interesting video guys👍I was a teacher of history for 40 years but not working anymore. If I would be in classes now I definetely would show this video to students they could see that Roman wall!
I rarely watch travel videos, but you both have inspired me. The effort and dedication that you put into the channel is felt. Loved the Nepal videos! Excited to see where your journey takes you next 🙏
Gorgeous! Loved all of this. The images, drone footage, music... fantastic! Future adventures? Iceland! (Ferry La Bamba over from Denmark) Hot springs, glaciers, and vegan friendly 💚
We have been looking into this! It’s about £3k return with a stop at the Faroes! Would love to do it, not sure our money can stretch that far yet, may need to get saving would be amazing
@Lost In Transit oh I hope you can make it work. I've been twice in a campervan (rented there) It really is an incredible place, otherworldly for certain! Watching you both there would be wonderful! Though I'll watch wherever you go 💚
That was wonderful guys. Thanks for surprising me a photo from the Northumberland border on Instagram the other day when I suggested you try up here and it turned out you were already there! 😅 So pleased you loved this magical region as it is such an underrated part of the country. Funnily enough we called in at Kielder just last week on our way home from Scotland. It was an awesome drive back. I'll share your video on Twitter now & will tag 'Visit Northumberland' 👍

Amazing scenery and amazing photography!!! I was born and bred in Northumberland, and always think it’s hugely underrated (but I kind of like it that way if you know what I mean 🤫) However you’ve done a fantastic job of showing it off 👍🏻
