I think those fairy pools must have magical properties because your complexion looks absolutely glowing with health Iz, even more than usual, actually so does Tom’s! That dip was truly worth it. Whether if it’s the feel good factor from inside glowing out or the properties of the soft island water, it works ! Makes me wonder what the Talisker tastes like now ……
Going back and catching up on some of your older videos - fab content as always. Some amazing lines from Tom in this one: "But I'll take that with a pinch of salt' Is: "We're in The Fairy Glens" Tom: "GLEN" Actually lol'ed. Great stuff guys
love your hiking and and wet adventures! you are just like a pair of adorable otters, ha ha. thoroughly enjoying going around Scotland with you both, thank you.
Enjoying going through your videos, brings back memories of when I visited many of the Scottish locations, Skye especially, with my wife and young family of three boys. They are in their forties now and take their families round Scotland, such a beautiful country. I have two folk in the work who have each just bought camper vans, I recommended they watch your adventures. I watched the Irish trips, you found some locations I had not discovered. Years ago I loved driving over there following roads to see where they ended up, drove my wife to distraction, "Where are we?" she would say, "Don't know!" I would reply, we found some stunning locations! I hope you get better weather!
Hi Geoff, aw so lovely to hear our videos can bring back memories for you. sounds like an incredible trip around scotland and so lovely that your boys are doing the same with their families now too! thanks for recommending us to your work mates!! haha love the sound of your road trips!! take care :)
I hired a camper went all around Scotland and proposed to my now fiancé on the beach at glenbrittle and stay at the site there. What a beautiful place Skye is

Hi Guy's Just keep what you are doing and you will get the subs very soon. Scotland is beautiful we are going a couple weeks, love Scotland in the winter we are doing the SW300 and Kintyre peninsula. Safe travels
Aww thanks so much John. We loved the Southwest of Scotland a very under appreciate area if you ask me. We didn't really get to explore the Kintyre peninsula this time (I guess we had to leave some things to come back for).
Great video guys, charity shops & Birkenstock’s... what more do you want, sat in our van watching this very close to Skye about to do the same so was nice to get some tips. X
Great vlog guys. Been watching all your Scotland episodes. Reminds myself and my partner a lot of ourselves during our 20s as we van travelled around the world. We have a wee daughter now so we've slowed down a little but guess what we're Scotland bound next week. Keep up the great vlogging. Great sound tracks too by the way. Big love from Ireland 💚
Have never been to skye, will have to male time for it when I do the NC500 next year in our van. Loving your videos, just watched them straight through, great job and love your unique style!
Thank you so much for your kind comment, so nice to hear. You need to make time, it is seriously mind-blowing. So many amazing places cramed onto one island. Its like a distilled version of Scotland.
There's one fantastic spot in the northern bit of Skye that not many people talk about - the Lookout Bothy, it's history is really interesting, the spot is a nice hike from the main road and it looks great inside, with fantastic views to the outer Hebrides on a good day. There's also the classic viewpoint bench hidden in a small ditch :)
Also just before the bridge to the mainland there's a tiny settlement called Kyleakin that has a really remote ruin of a castle, the views are fantastic and the atmostphere is really nice, there's a hidden path where you have to find a mosaic on the ground to see where the path starts, highly recommended!
@@LostInTransit a couple of months ago there was an initiative where you could get 50k from the government if you declared you will permanently move to Skye/Lewis/Harris/a bunch of other smaller islands in Scotland. I think they had opened 100 applications, not sure what the status is. But it would be such a dream to own property on Skye and be able to just enjoy the magic as a living :D
Can I recommend the Outer Hebrides. Best way to see it is to travel up to Ullapool then get ferry to Stornoway. Travel up to the butt of Lewis lighthouse then travel south through Lewis, lots of beautiful beaches on Lewis, then down to Harris (you must experience Luskentyre beach 😍😍😍) then if you have the time get ferry to the Uists and Barra. The landscapes and beaches in the Outer Hebrides are just outstanding, and if you get very lucky with the weather, it’s like the Caribbean.
