I remember designing his 1st website back in the day as Young Berg. I still got some of the MP3 files sent to put on the site. It was only a few years ago that I realized he was Hitmaka now! Definitely smiling proud to see his transition!

I just did research on Spring Creek Academy and there is so many documentaries and articles about how they brutally abused and beaten children for years until being shut down in the late 2000s please bring hit maker back on the show to truly dissect and elaborate on his trauma and experiences there as this may help tons of other kids who've also expressed it well who can relate.

Not to shit on Drink Champs, but you see here Math and the crew didn't need to load anyone up on alcohol to get some shit he never told. The show is "Drink" Champs but Nore be pushing the drinks on them like some date rape drug...like take a sip lmao. This podcast have authentic moments that just develop out of genuine conversations, and Math be on his shit too, like getting the film roll of the events...like what led up to this etc. Base on the no agenda environment, no doubt yall will be in that #1 spot soon for hip hop podcast; two main podcast I fuck with is this and The Pivot.

That’s crazy. DMX treated his dogs pups like any other rapper would treat a chain that represented the group. It’s no different when having a dog when that’s what DMX was known for. And you could tell that it was significant because he told Berg to take care of it and always have it with him. A rapper would give a chain to his signee and tell him to move in the same way. It’s really profound more than any piece of jewelry could ever compare to. RIP a Legend 🙏🏾

@MATH HOFFA what Hitmaka is referring to at @39:34 is a very famous and traumatic kidnapping experiance called an "Elan Snatch", made famous by the Cult/Boarding schools Elan that used to exist for "Tough Love" for "Troubled Kids". Spring Creek Academy definitely got thier game from them. They usually come in the dead of early morning between 2am - 3am let in by the parents, who then lead them into your room where the workers literally wake you up outta your sleep to being hog tied with plastic zip ties, throw you into a painter's van with no windows, and drive you off 12 hours to Maine/Rhode Island/Wyoming/West Virginia/Utah/Montana somewhere secluded . The fact that his own mother helped expidite the process knowing the school's reputation or not, is something i'm not sure I could get past myself.
The whole organization and the one's it inspired in the field of "Tough Love Schools" ended up being a complete cesspool of trauma bonding, money racketeering, and cult grooming, resulting in deaths.
