Saw someone made a video about how yorichii's mom kept praying to the sun god to end all strife and pain, apparently the sun god had enough of muzan's blasphemy to the gods and sent him a heavenly beatdown he'll forever remember, named yoriichi.

There is one thing about Muzan I realized after this episode. He's honestly very sane for a shonen villain's standards. He has had a single goal for over a thousand years, has others do it for him for that purpose only, and calls Ubuyashiki crazy for doing something he quite literally just didn't think someone like him would do. Muzan is sane, he's just an asshole and immortal 💀💀

Bringing every demon slayer into the castle at once was too arrogant as well. Why not leave half of them outside? They have no way of getting in. Hell, he could have done it one at a time. Drop each hashira into a room with him 1 at a time. Imagine if instead of going to ubayashiki personally he just killed all the hashira like that 1 at a time. Let the remaining slayers wake up the next morning to no hashira, and go slaughter them all the next night

Even with the Hashira having always been clearly shown as being insane, one of the things that impressed me the most here was that while in the middle of the fight, Gyomei had the presence of mind to shout out the only relevant and by far the most important information as soon as the other Hashira arrived: "It's Muzan (they've never seen him before aside from Tanjiro and have no idea what he looks like), he doesn't die if you cut off his head (unlike all the other demon's they've ever faced)"
Had he not shouted out those two specific details, the others might have responded far slower considering he was already fighting the demon who killed Ubuyashiki, and they would definitely have each tried to cut off his head ones they started fighting him, wasting a lot of time, energy, effort and possibly lives.
It didn't get shown at the end but Big Bro Rengoku speaking to Tanjiro and Mitsuri from beyond the grave to tell them that he's watching over them and giving them words of encouragement was so touching. Like he's gone but still acting as their Big Bro.
Killing Muzan is an optional side quest to Zenitsu

To me, the biggest emotional impact in this ep was Tamayo's hatred and desperation. Imagine being locked and partly absorbed to the person you hate so much and who can torture you mercilessly even as you wait for your drugs to have the effect you want. Tamayo's sacrifice will go on for some time but what she has done is going to be the single most important thing in the whole battle.

In that moment, you've helped orchestrate a plan to put the DS corps' number 1 op on the ropes and are now rallying all the hashira, who've assembled to back you up, giving you the chance to end a centuries old beef once and for all... They really nailed the gravity of that moment 👌🏿

I'm so glad this was a longer episode, cause it was paced PERFECTLY. The slow built-up to Ubuyashiki's self-sacrifice was so GOOD, and then literally EVERYTHING that happened after, from Tamayo coming in clutch, to Gyomei popping the eff OFF with the animation, to all the Hashira converging on Muzan only for them, along with the ENTIRE DEMON SLAYER CORPS getting sucked into the Infinity Castle, made for arguably Demon Slayer's greatest episode to date.
THIS is how you do a freaking cliffhanger.
Bro Roshi is one of the only reactors I've seen that understood IN AN INSTANT how terrible of a situation it is for the corps to get pulled into the Infinity Castle

Could have been worse. Imagine if Muzan was extra cheap and just brought the hashira in 2 or 3 at a time to get mauled. He made it way too fair by letting them bring everyone they had. I get he wants to eradicate them all but this is so rushed on his part

Muzan didn't want to pick them off one-by-one because if he did that, the Corps would survive. Kokushibo, when he first became a demon, personally went and decapitated the current ruling Ubuyshiki clan member. And, all of the Hashira of that era died from the Mark. But despite that, with only a few of Ubuyashiki's children and some fodder Demon Slayers left, the Corps rebuilt itself. It's not just about getting rid of the strong Demon Slayers, because they'll rise up again. Muzan needs to end the whole thing in one go, or else he can't get rid of it.
So there's no point in doing it one at a time. If Muzan took too long to kill everyone, or if he let anyone with Breathing Techniques escape and survive, then the Corps would stick around. The remaining Corps members would go into hiding, slowly build themselves back up, and Muzan would have lost his advantage. Then they'd all be back to square 1.

Tiger and Dragon are shown here like Yin and Yang, Life and Death. Muzan stands in between them creating an imbalance, him being immortal while the bloodline suffers from it with short lifespans. Truly a masterpiece and the final stretch is here!
The way Zenitsu locked in, the face changes of triumph, guilt, and hatred from Tamayo, the explosion, the way the Master took himself and the family out as a last fuck you to Muzan after shit talking, the way the Hashira pulled up and Muzan pulled out an uno reverse. Loved this finale and I’m on edge for what’s to come cause I am NOT ready😭
You know how mentally demented you have to be to think someone stopping you from killing thousands of people is actually more cruel and unhinged than you. We need more villains like Muzan.
The thing with Muzan is that he doesn’t see himself as a monster, he believes most people put into his situation would have made similar choices, prioritizing their own well being over everything else, so self-sacrifice really weirds him out, it’s “insane behavior” in his world view

This anime animation is far ahead of any anime I've seen. The water the explosion it's realism is superb unmatched even
2 things to note, the eyeballs that were tracking all the corps members were most likely for that trap of dropping all of them into the castle. Ubuyashiki has more than 2 kids because one has black hair and that one and her sister are back on the wisteria mountain for the entrance exams apparently there's 5 total

One of the things Ufotable did an EXCELLENT job of that is underrated is establishing the infinity castle before this moment. It only works as well as it does because we have seen this shit in motion multiple times before.

That is something that the Manga did it's best to show as a crazy thing before this, but there's only so much you can do on still pages, even if it was great too. But seeing it moving around, twisting even when nothing was happening, where even fast demons like the lower moon that got decapitated can't get out, or seeing Akaza falling into it and passing hella rooms and foreshadows of the arenas that are coming up where he's falling for like 4 minutes, it shows the massive scale of everything. Especially during the swordsmith village arc with all the upper moons spread around and on different levels and directions while Muzan is upside down to them and acting normal. Ufotable has always been nuts with animation and it's going to be insane seeing all the crazy motion that's going to be coming up

@@natalimoina That's not correct at all. Manga cannot show the infinity castle as the creator imagined it. There was no long moving sequence of Akaza moving through the infinity castle in the manga. We just got the chime and he was at the meeting spot. Ufotable did all the heavy lifting here.
