Without the cameras these are not nearly comparable.
Sure it is. One has it, the other doesn't. The camera doesn't make the Meta better it just appeals to those who care about a camera

What a great vid I may purchase these this month using your link. Question: I wonder if I can pair it with my Apple Watch and listen to my music on tidal? Or access different features without my phone nearby? Or without wifi? Just curious, thanks again.
It needs wifi / cellular. I’ve never tried pairing anything to my apple watch directly since I don’t have cellular on it. However, you can control the glasses with your apple watch (changing songs) if the glasses are paired to your phone.

So they connect to your phones, that means both can make calls using your phone? Do either of them work with Audible?
Yup. And yes with Audible but they can’t launch audible. So as long as you open and play from your phone first, you can pause & control audible from the glasses

Great video. I've had the Ray Bans for a few months now and the cameras are all I use them for having disabled the other "smart" functions. Just don't trust Facebook that much.
Wow, we’re opposites! You don’t use the audio function at all??
@@VRwithJasmine Not at all. I like the photo sync function but when the glasses are on and I’m driving, my Apple CarPlay plays the music through the glasses and not the car speakers. I use AirPods for headphones and calls so the auto sync function of these get in the way mostly. BTW, this is Rob from way back. RUclips changed my name. Don’t know why.
Do these things have unusable lenses? Or can I get them prescribed to my eyes with bifocals?
For Lucyd, you can get most prescriptions since they have a ton of frames that can accommodate tons of prescriptions.
On the website, they actually recommend ordering a non prescription frame first to see if it fits well and then ordering your lens prescription after since there's no refund on Rx lens
Did you notice a difference in the battery life?
Lucyd lasts longer cause it doesn’t have as many features like the RayBan Meta’s cameras that suck more power
Can I use my Insurance with Lucyd?
You would have to speak with your provider how to go about that, but you should be able to

Nah, I only will buy smart glasses with camera on it. Else it's of no use. Duh
I mean audio is nice and you can use it in areas that are "photo sensitive"

@@MatanumiI wouldn't say it's a big miss actually. I think it's better that battery life was prioritized over the camera. I have astigmatism and I can't have the thing I need to see charging so I can use it. What they both lack is a good looking HUD. That would be awesome
