As well, there's something major the video forgot. Albedo HATES all the guild members with the exception of Ainz. She believes the guildmates abandoned them while Ainz stayed with them and even has a special hit squad made to track and kill them if they ever appear without Ainz knowing. She keeps it top secret, not having the guardians involved in case it was their creator they found.
The hit squad was skipped in season 3. Even if Ainz hadn't changed the settings, I personally think she would have still made the hit squad.
I thought this one's only a theory??
That Hit Squad is really scary because it was formed around Rubedo as the main Hitter

@Goodogo187 nope, we know in Men of the Kingdom she hates them. And the hit squad was made under the half lie of it being to track and locate strong people (with her obviously withholding mention of his friends). Ainz even notes that the way Albedo said it was strange. I can get the quote if you want.

Yeah, Nine’s Own Goal was the OG name of Momonga’s (Ainz’s) friend group back when they were starting out as just a Clan of 9. Eventually, their clan’s numbers expanded to the 41 members we know now, after which they were officially a Guild. However, they obviously couldn’t keep their group’s original name of Nine’s Own Goal because you know… (9). So they named their Guild Ainz Ooal Gown, probably because: 1.) they wanted to honour their roots and remember where they started. And 2.) They liked the sound of their Clan’s name and wanted to keep it somehow.
Also, Lu Zhi and Wu Zetian (whom Tabula referenced within Albedo's settings) were real women/historical figures. Specifically, they were Chinese Empresses known (infamous) for engaging in some cunning as well as fairly ruthless and cutthroat courtly drama, politics, and intrigue.
Rubedo, the enigma. We all are waiting for the moment Ainz unleashes that entity on the world. There is some information on her, but not much. We don't know, how she looks exactly, we assume she is an automaton, some kind of a golem. We assume she was created using the caloric stone, a world item. This item might appear, when you accumulate a lot of prismatic ore. Nazarick once had control over a celestial uranium (one of the seven prismatic ores) and accumulated a lot of that material to control the market in the game. This lead to the appearance of the caloric stone.
That is why we assume that this world item was used to create a golem core for Rubedo.
This was a pleasant surprise. Definitely didn't expect Albedo videos at this point. To be honest a 5 hour video about Albedo wouldn't do her justice. There's so much nuances to her character.
And yes "Everyone" had the same reaction when they learned about Rubedo being the most powerful and was created using different means.

I think the existing theory about her creation is that she was created using one or more Caloric Stones. Which are used to create world class items I believe. If this is the case it would be no surprise that she is OP.
I don't know if your the type to read source material but the light novels offer a much more rich experience of the world and narrative, worth reading if you like the series

Ainz modifying her setting was for the best imo, it'd have been a HUGE problem if he didn't

I love Albedo, not just for the complexity of her character, but for the questions her character brings up regarding the nature of free will, destiny, nature vs nurture, love and understanding, and retroactive morality.
For example, what you said about it feeling inherently wrong what Ainz did in changing her settings. It is unquestionably immoral to alter the personality of another sentient being against their will.
However, when Ainz changed her settings, she wasn't sentient. At the time, it would have been a pretty amoral action, as the only person being hurt was Tabula for having something he made changed, but Tabula had abandoned her long before, so not even he could complain about an injury to himself.
Then, all of a sudden, Albedo is sentient. And if Ainz offered to modify her memory and put her back the way she was somehow, she would absolutely refuse.
She doesn't feel bad about the change at all. Only Ainz does.
So, in order for Ainz to not feel guilty anymore, he would have to go against Albedo's will, modifying the personality of a sentient being against their will. Which we can agree from the start would be immoral.
In the meantime, you have Albedo suffering from unrequited love because Ainz won't allow himself to love her the way she wants due to his guilt and/or physical and emotional inability.
So, the writer has created a character almost perfectly designed to make us question and examine these ideas that we just reflexively take for granted. While simultaneously putting major roadblocks in the way of the tired cliché of the isekai hero getting the girl. And I think it is absolutely brilliant.
I've always felt that she is the most tragic character in the series. Momonga, later on Ainz, made her love him. Granted he had thought the game was in its final moments, and would never become reality, so I can't attack his motives. When Nazarick became reality, his guilt, shyness regarding women, and his skeletal nature all combine to ensure he never returns Albedo's feelings, hard wired as they may be, or perhaps not given the other females of the tomb infatuation with him as well. I just feel bad for Albedo.
Out of curiosity how different would Albedo be if Momonga hadn't changed that final line of flavor text? I wonder if that would compromise her in some way.
