We later leans He is very angry for just learning knowledge from a captured foe for something else non related. But in the moment of being contacted, Albedo thinks her scheme has been found out. Though it is not explicitly mentioned, going off this theory and her reaction, it does seem she is planning something in the shadows. Something she does not want the other NPC’s of Nazerick, outside of her chosen group, to learn of.

After s1, the movie occurs (if i remember correctly) and then s2. The young girl and her party are the "true" heroes in this world BUT our boi Goblin slayer is also a hero, just without the fame or glory.

Hero Girl doesn't matter, she's on the main quest with the Demon Lord and stuff. Glory and fame doesn't matter, we're doing the side quests for the betterment of the people!

Yeah, Overlord would have greatly benefited if it had 24 or 26 episode seasons instead of 13. So much story and lore is cut.

This episode is Muscle Mommy's only appearance in all of Goblin Slayer. I want to believe we'll see her again, but so far, this is all we have.

Fun fact #1, if I'm not mistaken the whole plan was Goblin Slayer's idea, he knew the guirilla tactics the goblins would use and in the lowest way possible, even using human shields, and he knew how to counter each one of them, incredible. Fact #2, the mage speaks slowly, because her words... well... they have power, so saying something too fast in the wrong way can be... deadly.

Congratulations on the first part, anime and other works sometimes caught me that way too, sometimes in a very specific way that only you understand at that moment, and it helps you understand better =D
