After the video I talked with itouchedgrass and confirmed he was a GC with a brand new account. No hard feelings, but yes I had more proof than just his gameplay (even though it was already pretty obvious to any experienced player) 2. Tcorrell has more goals on the scoreboard at the end because when you reset a lobby in a private match as an admin, the stats remain unless you fully end the game. They were messing around in the lobby making sure everything was working (in our first attempt Tcorrell had a really bad connection so we needed to test it). So the scoreboard was not accurate from the start. For the first game we did a clean restart of the lobby thankfully.
The final game was a lot closer than I thought i'd be, I thought Corell would just stomp him. I didn't expect so many kickoff goals. Turned out to be a very entertaining match.
Trust me they're not all this wholesome in silver either. I love it when people calls me an idiot for missing a save or something, because we're the same rank. I've played the game for like a month, what's their excuse? 😂

I have a couple ideas for pranking videos. 1. Have a constant “wind” going at a certain direction (like golf) that you can change 2. Make the ball have constant (or not) spikes like the ones in rumble capable of spiking multiple cars (could be invisible or not) 3. Make a “fog where cars can only see a certain distance ahead of them
If I joined that tourney when I was silver u would be called smurf too because I used to spend hours in free play learning mechanics instead of playing ranked
This was so much closer than I thought it would be. I thought the silver with the aimbot was gonna get pooped on, because all the pro had to do was bring it in the air and put it in the net. But I guess the aimbot is just that strong especially on good kickoffs, phew. GGs!
Around minute 8:53 the smurf did a half flip, realized what he was doing, and landed in his car's roof, it was pretty funny and quite obvious lol, a couple seconds later he attempted a redirect in target that didn't go in lmao

The fact the last game was close is pretty amazing, I think the pro didn't want to absolutely destroy the silver, if he wanted, the silver wouldn't be able to touch the ball once
The thing I love is how wholesome silvers are. They all suck, they all know they suck, but they are there to have fun playing a silly game where flying cars play soccer. I feel like the toxicity sets in around platinum and peaks in diamond (where ever hard-stuck d-bag thinks his teammates are holding him back from ranking up to champ where he belongs).

His car controll on walls (when he drive off the wall he heads his car in right direction | his orientation on the ground is too good for silver too), his shots (silvers do flips, like always, but he sometimes do a single jump, do dbl jump (which silvers don't know about) and pre jump saves), his kickoffs (it was clear that he threw some of his kickoffs to not stand out, but the kickoffs when he won had champ or even GC timings on them, cuz he did flip in right time to win it (like reaction speed and muscle memory r too good for silvers, who don't even do a flip on kickoffs with timing, they just do a jump and instant flip before collision). Toxiclazar can't be lower than champ with his muscle memory. Also his decision making is sus too. He stole boost from opponent in ones and did it properly (like if he had been playing in 1s for several months or years), he keeped distance and placed his car correctly in 3s (just like the first smurf), but whiffed a lot (to not stand out, cuz with his lvl of confidence in his play it couldn't be random). Also his speed of play, like it for sure wasn't silver.
Yea I was thinking the same thing, just the very subtle things he did can stand out to someone who knows how other ranks play. But sadly in the rocket league its nearly impossible to make a video like this because of the absolute infestation of smurfs in this game.
Idk he seemed legit. The car design, the whiffs, the fact that he wasn’t really that good. Plus just because you know to not just drive full speed at a kickoff doesn’t make you a Smurf. He seemed fine. Plus sunless would’ve sniffed him out the same way he did with grass. Seems legit

And I think u aren't a high ranked player, since u missed the whole "timing" part of my explanation. His timing on kickoffs aren't silver at all. Also u can notice that after he play "good" (Don't whiff, win kickoffs) he starts playing a lot worse (too many whiffs, rotations degradation, he lose kickoffs (Like he rejects the working strategy of winning that he had done)). When he go up to 2 more goals than opponents he start to balancing score and continue his "good" (that he done before) play only after starting loosing and when he start winning again he repeat the whole thing (start loosing and rejecting what he had done and what had worked before).
Was BakkesMod unlimited flips on? It looked like ToxicLazar17 at 13:45 flipped again before landing, which can happen in custom matches if the host has that option enabled. Nonetheless an excellent video as we've come to expect, just something I noticed.

7:30 this was not a squishy save. It’s the fastest way to rotate back when you whiff, I saw pros do it all the time and did it back in gold. It would be a squishy save if 1) he was saving an opponents shot, this was on his opponents net and 2) he turned into the ball or even jumped at all for the actual squishy save. Video Idea: Get a few people (pros, content creators, free stylers) and see what their muscle memory is like. You do this by having them put on a blind fold and then attempt a few things like scoring from a kickoff or attempting an air dribble. Could be fun to watch them fumble around trying to touch the ball. Regardless this was a fun video to watch

I feel like a few of them did things I wouldn't typically expect from a silver, but maybe people are just improving. We've all done crazy things on RL that amazed ourselves too
As a game gets older the casuals move on to new stuff so the skill level of all ranks gets higher. Try playing a dead game like heroes of the storm, and even bronze knows the entire meta and has pretty decent mechanics

Sunless you should do a video where it's a pro vs any rank but slowly take away the pros controls. Jump,boost,powerslide,ball cam and what ever else I don't know if you have done something like this but I think it's a good idea
