Was a great challenge! 2v2 rumble tends to be more "regular" mechanics/possession-based than 3v3 rumble. But 2v2 (and 1v1) rumble theory is incredibly deep; it inspires me to keep pushing to discover more about this amazing mode!
I wish he would have the rumble pros play ranked games that are against people that aren't pros and have them commentate their gameplay and why they do certain things. It would be cooler than them getting destroyed for a video

I've always said that skill using powerups balances potential skill gaps in mechanics in Rumble matches. Glad to see you exploring more Rumble, I love this gamemode
Yeah I was a diamond 2 in 2v2 but although I was solid positionally and with shot placement I could never be bothered to actually learn any mechanics so was stuck there, went over to rumble and was a champ 2/3 while being way less sweaty.
@@CbrF4i600cc Hard to compare but I never claimed it was just mechanics I was missing, my reactions and defense are probably shit too. Your mechanics are still probably better than my 0 mechanics. My point was just that lack of mechanics seems to matter less for rumble.

My mechanics aren't great but with everyone playing so much slower I could probably show off a little in diamond, so you are probably underselling your mechanics. being able to play at a certain game speed is part of mechanics imo.
the pros just have such immaculate ball skills matched with the ability to quickly place shots from really tough angles. not to mention how much extra space they get in the 2v2. in this setting i actually dont think there's any chance the rumble mains could win. they really only have a chance in 3v3 where all the extra space is taken up. great video as always lol

Props to the rumble pros for holding on! I understand that they are used to 3v3 rumble and you can see how they didn't always look for the rebound, but you gotta hand it to them for fighting it. And of course props to the pros, it shows just how well they can adjust to pretty much any situation and still kick ass.
People have no idea how much better pro's are. Im GC, I get absolutely clapped by SSL. And mid SSL get absolutely clapped by pros. The rumblers did great.
I feel like you should do another one where it's 3v3 and add one more of the top rumble players against 3 pros because 3v3 gameplay is a whole lot different than 2v2

As a Plat level player, I am constantly up against Diamond and Champ 2v2 players when I'm playing other modes like Dropshot and Snow Day. Every once in a while I'll be up against Gold or Silver too, but majority are higher level players. Those high level skills translate directly VERY easily to Dropshot, maybe just slightly lesser in Snow Day. I'm sure it's just the way RL is, but matchmaking really should take into account player ranks in other game modes. This video shows that sound RL mechanics can translate to other modes. Would definitely be interested to see more like this!

I would gladly pay to watch BO3 Rumble 2v2s in arena tourneys between games of standard 3s. Especially with top tier players like this, some of the moves and combos were just superb. In a live arena this would go off!
They're 3s main I would assume since rumble is mainly 3v3. Still did well considering it was a 2v2 in rumble which isn't really fair. Should've reduced the rumble cool down, or figured out a way to do it before making this video to keep it balanced. Then again, what do I know, I'm a hardstuck D3 😭😂

If you were to do a 2v2 rematch, the rumble powerups should come out every 5 seconds to make up for not having a 3rd man on the field. Additionally the rumble players should be able to limit kickoff goals with this
