wait a minute you're only 15?djijgdijgidj how- this is rlly rlly amazing i haven't seen this yet but ill def watch it now i recommend the handmaiden (lots of erotic scenes tho just as a warning, it's so atmospheric and beautiful tho) the quiet family (comedy/crime made in the 90's, very aesthetic lol. its dark and gritty and everything) burning (has a few scenes in there lol, but it's full of metaphors tht will have u rewatching and picking up new details every time it's one of my favs, so incredibly executed. the dialogue and cinematography and characterization are A+, after u watch i highly suggest reading a recap of it to better understand like i did) o but the beginning is slow bear with it crouching tiger, hidden dragon (older Chinese historical movie, has rlly funny bad edited wuxia elements but it rlly has u immersed in the time period because of it and the acting, score, story and characters. also the romance in this between the more side characters is everything seriously) little forest (south korea 2018 movie, a food/life drama with aesthetic scenery as it takes u through all the seasons and rlly connects u with nature, the villagers in the small town, and the main girl and her family and friend issues, a calm watch) April story (1998, old Japanese movie, a calm, slice-of-life kinda almost like it was shot with an old camera on like a vlogging youtube channel lol it was a rlly different watch than anything else ive ever seen but itll have u totally into our main character and how she's adjusting to moving to tokyo, a huge city compared to her little town she grew up in and why she moved there to begin with, u may not like this as much as me idk depends on ur taste and if ur ok with a bit of a more slow burn watch) cry me a sad river (i watched this bcuz of ur sisters fmv and i dont regret it at all, maybe its bcuz i was in the mood for it but this depressing realistic shit got me all in my feels lol this was super gritty and hardhitting. i mean we are dealing with school bullying and trajedy, be warned!, the best part of this in my opinion was the cinematography, obviously the story, but most of all the friendship between yi yao and qi ming omg- i never seen a friendship so pure and down to earth as them. he was literally the only person- WELP no more spoilers) mother (south korean movie 2009, a thriller movie with great cinematography and plot twists vry dark and weird) the thieves (2012 south korea movie, comedy/crime with strong female characters, very light-hearted with different character dynamics and relationships) secretly greatly (2013 south korean, tragedy/action , deals with being spies of war, be warned: its sad. the friendship to this day has me :( memoir of a murderer (south korean psychological thriller which i rlly liked for how it was amazingly shot and produced deals with gas lighting, domestic abuse, etc) srry u didnt ask for this huge list i basically went through my top films and recommended u the ones u didnt already see on mydramallist lol hope u find something u will enjoy ~ ^^
