As a Manga reader I think they did a good job of showing that she was "In the zone". In this state, the entire vibe of the comic changes and she pretty much dances around her enemies. Also that jump at the end was 🔥🔥🔥
Manga reader here. It’s not perfect, but I don’t really think live action can do some of the stuff you see in the manga (or anime) justice including her fighting. With that being said, this is probably as good as you’re going to get for live action and I still think it looks very cool. It seems spastic, unnatural, and sometimes feels like it doesn’t flow, while also seeming controlled, focused, & artful. This I think fits her priestess dance very well. Could it have been done in a different and better way? Maybe, I don’t know. What I do know is that I like this and think it does a good enough job at showcasing her superhuman and supernatural abilities. good job

U know thats how she fights in manga/anime.. it was meant to be weird dance fighting style like that.. It's not close to manga/anime but it is enough for a live action
@@haisesasaki7998 I found the kovie to be crap, a waste of time. Maybe is not a good idea to make manga in movies or maybe I have different tastes. I was thinking about the strategy used by the generals, it was absolute unrealistic trash.

Probably the worst part of the movie because of how corny it looked. Else, the movie is great. beautiful cavalry shots(which is rare unlike back then, because hollywood relies on cgi nowadays).

the fake jumping was corny, the sword fighting was done quite well imo.
