    The obligatory "all the presets" demo vid! 😄 It might not get as much fanfare and likes as other types of demos, but it's very helpful for those of us thinking about purchasing. Thank you for making it. 😊

    This synth (and its legacy) is still the best sounding of all analogs of all times. The filters are great and its entire pressure and timbre. Instant love. I do not like the sound of the Moogs nor Rolands at all. Although the ARP 2600 comes close to my taste too. But the latter is overly complicated to operate. The Pro 800 has got fantastic modern MIDI implementation. Even if all sound is mono, not stereophonic, the sound is so good, that additional (mostly cheesy) effects are often not even required at all.

    Best video, that really demonstrates the power of the synth, cause you actually play the stuff rather then play chords + filter (like 10 other videos i watched) happy I came to this place !

    Sounds great. Lovely demo. Ignore the haters, they don’t know sound. This thing is a little beast and it’s the real deal for so cheap!

    I like the pure analog sound of it...but they say it's noisy. (not hot enough outputs) What's your experience? I have the Korg Mnlg-XD analog module and it's totally quiet...but this sounds really well, like a vintage synth.

      Yes, I sequenced this track in Cubase and mixed in Proteus because it can play 16 different presets at the same time on 16 different MIDI channels (It's 16-part multitimbral as I wrote in the video description).

    Nice sound out of this thing for the money but for some reason the unison doesn't sound right and as nice to my ears when compared to sequential or other synths. I have already played with detune and other parameters. I wonder why is that?

    Is it just my impression that it sounds very thin?

    • @theredfaceofficial
      @theredfaceofficial 8 месяцев назад +3

      Quite the opposite. Fatter sounding than any software synth on the market. Pure analog tone vs boosted low end eq in software plugins.

      As an owner of a P5 Rev 4 I must admit: the Pro-800 definitely has that Prophet sound.

    • @dez1989
      @dez1989 6 месяцев назад +4

      It's your phone or your eyes. If they were showing a Prophet on the screen, everyone would say "Oh how great it sounds". But since you see a Behringer, your eyes say "it just can't sound as good". People like myself who own the Oberheim OB-XA and the Behringer UB-XA say the Behringer sounds just as good as the original. I couldn't believe it, but it's true. Check the honest comparisons. The only difference is what you see.

      Many very popular vintage synths doesn't have stereo output. It's normal.

    • @analogsynthesizer
      @analogsynthesizer 8 месяцев назад +1

      @@wolfgangSvukan yes, I know that. But Poly D, Vocoder and Deepmind 6/12 have stereo output. That's fine.

    • @wolfgangSvukan
      @wolfgangSvukan  8 месяцев назад

      @@analogsynthesizer They have stereo outs because all those synths have internal FX: DM6/12 have digital FX, PolyD and VC340 have analog chorus/ensemble. Pro-800 doesn't have any FX.
