Thank you Steve, I guess you're right, it's not easy catching a train that is so rarely "on time." The scenery I take no credit for but I do soak up as much of it as I can. David.
Hi Rick, Yes, memories of warmer days. I got a nice smile and wave from the conductor on that last one at mile 5. I wonder if the engineer felt intimidated with us having both sides covered. It was a great horn combination.
Hi Jason, Yes, good but very busy. Thank you for commenting, it is a good reminder to play catch up on a few channels. Glad you like our passenger service. David.
Hi David, some very nice shots there. It brings back memories. Wow! how time flies, 10 years ago we were in your part of the world, from Jasper to Toronto. How many of those trains were on time? Remember it so well, 6 hours late into Toronto. Enjoy the weather, we are coming into summer down under, although you wouldn't think so by the temperatures. A few 30 degree days, but mainly in the mid teens to early 20's. I like seeing the trains coming through Revelstoke on their cameras, especially in winter, they have a great backdrop there. Keep the videos coming. ... Ian
Hi Ian, I got what I could this summer but I missed a lot of them. It has been very mild here this autumn, 5c today but we are now getting some frosts overnight. They figure winter will hit in abut a week/week and a half with temps hitting -10c or even colder. Your mid teens sound pretty good to me. Not many of the trains in this video were "on time" mostly around an hour late. I'll try with the videos but I know next summer is going to be busy again. Cheers and take care, David.
Hi Digger, there are about 4 deer that hang around that housing area. You can walk within a few feet of them, it's not good for them in my opinion but deer are becoming very comfortable in the city. David.
They certainly do Mon. These were the inspiration for Tri-ang back in the 50's. Both the prototype and the models are still going strong 70 years later.
Hi Anthony, I'm not sure how many sets there are but I think there are 3 sets in motion across the country in each direction at any given time. There are other trains using this stock too. My 2020 guide lists 172 cars in this fleet but I know they are dwindling in number. Thanks for a great question. David.
Some great shots there David; thank you for compiling them. You did well to catch as many as you did! As always, the scenery is stunning.

Thank you Clive, my every day backdrop, I love it.
Great flashback on videos of # 1, Dave. Great hearing the second Horn type at 13:34 on the VIA unit. I understand this is the emergency horn.

Happy Tuesday David! Hope everything has been good on your end. Nice catches! - Jason

Very cool footage and one could not ask for a better backdrop to film in!
Hi Anthony, I do like our landscape and most of the footage was shot just a two minute walk from home. David.
Nice summer scenes David , we have snow today . ☃❄☃❄
It's -3c this morning Peter, no snow here but it won't be long I'm sure. I much prefer the summer warmth.
Hello David, great catches!👍 Cheers Andy 🤠
Thank you Andy.
Wow David.
They look like the 1950's carriages the 70 year old Princess Elizabeth were hauling in my last video. 😅
Happy Trains 🚂🎉

Cool compilation…not counting parts 1&2 but, is it the same train (car consists) in each VIA train all the time?

wonder how often it was the same crew looking at you when you were looking at them ?
Good question, who knows?
As we are in November the temperature is dropping and winter conditions are approaching because snow has already arrived in my country
No snow here yet Scott, but it won't be long I'm sure.
