Regarding her live performances, she’s a bit hit n miss with her vocals especially in her early career, definitely check out her more currant live performances and especially her acoustic lives, that’s where her voice is at its best!

I recommend that you watch "Part Of Me - The Movie". It has live performances, as well as her life behind the scenes during the "Teenage Dream" years. It's actually a very touching documentary of her life.

This is a beautiful song by Katy, the video is also stunning. I think though as the 2nd single from PRISM in late 2013, it gets a little overshadowed by ROAR and DARK HORSE on either side of it which were pretty massive hits for her with out there videos. WIDE AWAKE (2012) has a similar ballady feel, if you want to do another 'fun pop' Katy song next though maybe the celeb cameo packed LAST FRIDAY NIGHT (TGIF), HOT N COLD, WAKING UP IN VEGAS, SWISH SWISH, HEY HEY HEY or maybe the other Prism singles BIRTHDAY, THIS IS HOW WE DO, and I think you mentioned you've heard ROAR but maybe haven't seen the video yet?
Oh! And for a live performance I think the Superbowl is a good one to react. You will feel her era’s in 1 performance

Love it 🧡🧡🧡🌼🌼 If you want to check out live performances by her, i would recommend doing either her MTV Unplugged, The One That Got Away Live at The AMAs (or at Rock in Rio), or Daisies for Amazon Music 😊😊 those are more acoustic and chill, but she also has the superstar mega production type performances, like her SuperBowl Halftime Show.

Wide Awake is her best video in my opinion ❤️ also, your interpretation on that car crash symbolism was spot on! I think it’s about fallin in love which feels like being hit by a car.
Is it snow or ash in the video? I used to think it was snow but after the fire and flashbacks to everyone dancing in a hall I think it’s actually ash and not snow.
