- Details matter in craft show projects. In this wood turning video I am making a project with details that increase sales at craft shows. I am making a small vase with an angled natural rim. The wood I turned is cherry. I hope you enjoyed this new woodturning video.

Nice Rus, like this one. Don't remember seeing you sharpen before, that is useful too. Sure appreciate your videos, don't stop, and I'll keep watching. Thanks....Dan
Thanks Dan!
Ya, the footage wasn't very good. I'll try to get better footage next time I do it.
Thanks for watching!
Another work of art. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for watching!
That is a cool little vase. I like the way you made the lopsided mouth with the offset to start.
Thanks!
People love them at craft shows so I'm gonna do more.
Thanks for watching!
Very nice thank you for sharing your awesome project with us. Everyone stay safe, wai, happy and healthy. From Henrico County Virginia
Thank you!
Appreciate you watching!
Another fun project. Well done!
Thank you Doug!
Very tricky , you have really raised the bar on twig pots. I’ve got to get moving now. As usual, excellent work.
Thank you James!
I appreciate that!
I have some others coming up as well.
Thanks for watching!
Gr8 job wondered where this was going at first ,thanks for showing us how you sharpen your chisels , very effective just on the belt sander .
Thanks! Ya, that's been my setup since I started.
Great project! What type of product do you use to finish?
Thank you!
I use friction polish made with shellac.
what did you put on to finish it?
99% of the time it's my homemade friction polish.
So Russ, what kind of price do you put on these at a craft show? Nice offset!
Thank you!
This is a small one. I sell it for 10 bucks. Then a medium for 15 and a large is 20 to 25 bucks. You can probably get more. I do it because I love it. The money I make is just a bonus.
@@RcWoodturning Thank you, Sir!
Except for the very top rim of the vase you cut off the uniqueness of the off set turning? I might have left it.
Ya I thought about that too! I might play around with that and see what I come up with. I like experimenting with that kind of stuff. With it being free wood it's not a big deal if you mess up.
What are you using for a finish I enjoy your channel
@@robcarroll255 I use friction polish made with shellac.
Like shine juice? it looks great
Yes. It's my own mix.
