Paul was truly Original !! Paul had a feel like no other artist. He was right there will all of the other Greats for the Birth of Rock & Roll in 1957. This song Diana still sounds great at my live gigs. (pre Covid) .. and it works well on the Cruise Ship gigs as well. My Students love to learn and play this song. I was young when my grandmother told us that Paul Anka's mom was directly related to our family. Somehow in high school my teacher found out through a cousin of mine and let me tell you, I was a shy and quiet student but I could do No wrong in her class. She was obsessed. Somehow in high school my teacher found out through a cousin of mine and let me tell you, I was a shy and quiet student but I could do No wrong in her class. She was obsessed. She told me so many times how her favorite song was Diana. I promised myself to come full circle this year and attend his live concert. Bravo for his talent and clean reputation after all these years. I'm proud..I hope God grants him many more years of health and happiness. 🥰

Paul is 77 today.This came out in 1957-i saw Diana Alquist in front of Studers Cafe in Beattie Kansas in around 1958 and i can still remember what she looked like.She was beautiful!Everytime i hear this it takes me back there.
