this is the way of fucking metal .... that girls are 1000% of energy and their coreography is perfect, and the musicians are fucking amazing... I think this kind of bands make a renewal of the same and normal metal bands

It's been a year since your first reaction to Gimme Chocolate!! and I'm glad to see you around in this moment they're about to release a new album with a new BM side and more mature sound we've never seen before, they already released 4 new singles along with a special version and live performance returning to the stage after almost two years, another single is coming soon right before album release, so stay tuned for more.
_Road Of Resistance_ is a power/speed metal song, is one of their most epic anthem and got the guitar arrangements made by Sam Totman and Herman Li from DragonForce, and is all about facing your own path without looking back.
The wall of death is nuts just like you noticed, is also called "mosh'sh pit", different from usual mosh pit because this one is safe to participate if you fall everyone will stop until you get up and get ready to keep going with the fun ride.
This was part of the Trilogy Of 2015 series of concerts, live at New Year Fox Festival - Saitama Super Arena, is the last song of the encore they performed and finishing the show. By this time their fame was already high due to viral success on YT of Gimme Chocolate! MV, people from all over the world attended this live concert in Japan, and 20K souls witnessed this epic moment.
With only 15 and 17 years old this moment will be forever remember when they performing this song to reminds them all the support they got from their fans no matter where they go, either a small or big stages.
The Kami Band here are magnificent set of elite musicians who were send to help the girls with the metal sound, they rotate so probably you won't see some of them in all live concerts (specially the guitarrists), all of them are males.
BM fans love some members of this band but none of them are official members of this group not even permanent, they only play live, so when you heard album tracks remember they aren't playing there.
In this case they are:
- Leda Cygnus, god of guitar, he's the only Kami Band member who's credited as a session musician when recording certain songs.
- Takayoshi Ohmura, god of guitar, he's Míkio' Fujioka's pupil (another beloved Kami Band guitarist who sadly past away) and a prodigy child, you'll see his recognizable pink guitar or golden in other moments.
- BOH, god of bass, he's the bald one and not only got amazing talent but her fun way to enjoy reminds me Flea from RHCP.
- Hideki Aoyama, god of drums, he comes from a family of expert drummers, and his father is very famous in Japanese music scene.
At the end of their shows they always said "We are BabyMetal!" with the crowd, to making them sure that they're part of this show and project too, is a line borrowed to X-Japan saying it at live concerts too.
If you like this type of metal genre then you're gonna love another previous song from first album called *"Ijime Dame Zettai"* live at Sonisphere Festival 2014 and witness a precious and epic moment on their career. You can find that clip in the official channel but just be careful coz sometimes is getting blocked issues.
Another suggestion safe to react is:
- _Headbanger!!_ live at Legend 1997 held in 2013, you can find a clip safe to react at Gans Tomas channel under "Head Bangya" title.

I always love when reactors react to Road Of Resistance.... there's always that "Is that little girl really calling for a wall of death" in the beginning.... And then you see the "oh shit" look when they realize that a 5'2" Asian girl called for, and got a big ass wall of death/mosh pit, is hilarious. Love the sing a long part with the fans... I think they added that part in just to give the drummer a break before his legs fall off. 🤣🤣🤣🤘🦊🤘
And she didn't need to say anything. It's not like the whole audience knew what to do from previous performances, this was just the 3rd performance of the song ever.
BABYMETAL is happy metal that cheers everyone up and makes them smile!
That is an extreme simplification. "No rain, no rainbow" is a deeply introspective and emotional song that makes me weep. Is it not Babymetal?

The lyrics, "Even despair becomes light, and the rain that never stops calls rainbows," are a gentle song for the victims of the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake who endured cold rain and experienced sad separation from their loved ones.
And this song was written at a time when Japan was still in a state of grief over the loss of so many people in the Great East Japan Earthquake. Indeed, it is. This song healed me. It gave me a positive feeling of hope and a desire to live, even as I thought of the many lives that had been lost.
Don't you think it is also HAPPY METAL that gives people energy?🙂
This has always had me almost hypnotized through the whole thing, but hearing the audience say "See you!" back at the girls always makes me giggle. Too cute.

Welcome back and great reaction (being in awe is a reaction). This performance was from 2015 at the Saitama Super Arena, Su was 17, Yui and Moa still only 15 and they had 20,000 people there completely under their control.
The song is about forging your own road, not necessarily going the easy way or following the path already made by somebody else, so if the way you want to go has never been trodden you may have to get past the resistance of the undergrowth, obstacles, hurdles and things blocking your way etc to find your own way.
It could easily be used to describe BABYMETAL's own story - they could have followed the well trodden path of J-Pop and been very successful, but they chose to go with Metal ... but again they didn't just follow the same old format of every other metal band, they have done it their own way and it hasn't always been an easy route to follow.
Herman Li and Sam Totman from the British power metal band DragonForce did the guitar arrangements for this song and played on the recording for the studio album version (this was the Kami Band's live version of course).
For another reaction try 'Headbanger' live at the Legend 1997 concert (Su-metal's 16th birthday celebration in December 2013). You can find good quality videos for that performance that are safe to use on either the Gans Tomas or abr metal channels.

Babymetal live shows always have the most circle pits and massive walls of death. Su can summon either with nothing more than a wave of her hands. At the recent shows in Tokyo, a journalist counted 21 pits going at the same time in various parts of the hall.

This anthemic song was played in the latest shows on Jan.28/29 this year, and I ran in the circle pit for the first time in my life. 😄 The crowd involvement (mosh pit, call & response, chant etc.) occurs wherever they go on this planet. American people also did good job in any of 20 shows during BM's 2019 US Tour. For example, you will find videos showing 17,500 audiences doing the same chanting (even much longer one) at the Forum, CA on Oct. 11, 2019. In your video, Su shouted some words at 08:04 meaning "Bring them on!". Fans analyzed that the provocative shout was thrown at people who had been ignoring, underrating, mocking, hating and even trying to discredit BABYMETAL. That shout may have been necessary in 2015 but not any longer. She shouted it rarely since then. In the latest shows, happy smile by Su and Moa made the audience rejoice.
The girls have grown up into beautiful ladies now. The maturity has added more attractiveness to this band. Please react to their recent performance as well.

In the Foxhole awe and excitement and common feelings, so welcome! The thing that makes BM work is their complete sincerity. They are not playing it as a gimmick of three little girls singing and dancing with a heavy metal band, they are just professionals delivering a full on performance at the highest level.
This performance is the one that truly sold me on Babymetal. I'd already seen Gimme Chocolate and Megitsune and had replayed those videos many times, but I wasn't yet a fan. The emotional ride on the Road of Resistance was my Babymetal Road to Damascus moment. By the end I was an emotional wreck. They took me from one peak to the next and it shows the talent and professionalism of the whole Babymetal team. I realized that BM wasn't a gimmick or even just heavy metal but a cross between metal/J-pop and a Broadway show carefully choreographed to manipulate your emotions in the best possible way. Su, Moa and Yui are able to control tens of thousands of people in the audience, which never fails to leave me astounded given their young age, but all the years in Sakura Gakuin, rehearsals and touring makes it seem effortless even as we worry if they can pull it off.
The song is about fighting against the odds and never giving up and talks about beacon fires which brings to my mind the resistance of Japan against the Mongol invasions. It has a strong DragonForce feel because Li and Totman from that band collaborated on it and played it on the album. There are many places that amaze in this performance including Hideki Ayoma's drumming or the guitar solos, but I really get the chills right after the crowd "wows" finish and there is the fast guitar riff and the girls' dance break end up with them standing strongly outlined by the stage lighting. For me that's where the music, choreography, staging and emotion all come together perfectly.
Road Of Resistance Live In Japan 🇯🇵:-
Su-Metal was 10 when she performed with Karen Girls at the SSA (SAITAMA SUPER ARENA). The Arena that night holds about 20000 Babymetal fans but when you see the centrepiece Island and the two curve bridge, it can hold up to 30000 or even up to 40000 depends on the configuration of Babymetal concert for each tour they performed. This song is co-written by Dragonforce with Herman Li and Sam Totman plays the guitar 🎸 solos, but Kami Band live show is brutal and tight. This is a classic Power Metal genre or speed metal as some might refer to. Bands like Dragonforce, Helloween and even Sabaton do power metal genre. Arkadia from Metal Galaxy Album is the successor to Road Of Resistance. At 17 Su-Metal alongside Yuimetal and Moametal who is 15 at that time, gave a perfect 👌 performance on how live show should be. They also just released what I feel is a mic drop moment with their Monochrome Panio accustic version. This really shows just how far this band has come come now. New Album drops on March 24 followed by a tour with Sabaton in April.

i've seen them live in philadelphia- they do the epic shows in Japan because they need the huge stage - in the USA or anywhere else it's just them and the band - it's great but not so huge and epic of a stage show - but still just to see them live was enough for me .
