- I tried to simulate the effects of a Russian nuke on my little town in Italy via Nukemap. It didn't go well.

If Russia nukes Prato, China might declare war on Russia.
(Edit): It's a bit on an inside joke. Let me clarify what I meant. Prato is the main hub for Chinese companies in Italy, a very grey market. They started buying land in the 90s early 2000s and they now basically own the place. They operate in a very opaque way.

As an American, I think you should make a video on those American Air Force pilots who accidentally hit a cable car during training in Italy killing all of its passengers, then they tried to destroy evidence of what they did. Once it all came out, they got a slap on the wrist in America instead of being tried in Italian courts.
I think dying at ground zero is preferable to surviving and having to live through the aftermath.

im interested would it be felt or heard if atomic bomb falls on Aviano, which is the most logical target if there comes to launching nuclear bombs. As far as i know there is no other logical targets in the area ( Italy, Croatia, Austria, Slovenia ...)...
I'm also from Croatia but closer to Bosnia and I felt it too and I don't feel earthquakes very often
@@DreamskyDance It depends on the blast yield and if detonated above ground. The Tsar Bomba was heard and felt in Finland/Sweden, broken windows etc up to 900 kilometres.

Minor correction: Little Boy and Fat Man were both dropped from B-29 strategic bombers. ABM systems are not designed to engage aircraft. Only worthy of note as land based and strategic bombers are two separate components of a nuclear triad. Even if the ABM systems work, they still have to take out the bombers.

Bunkers doesn't work against thermonuclear weapons, even Cheyene Mountain wouldn't take a direct strike by a 20 MT RS28 or R36.
