What's with the extreme bias against the Turkish nation? What they're doing (which every nation strives to do), is nothing compared to what countries like Italy & France did decades ago (and still do), and what the USA is doing now.

What is so bad about turkey becoming the defacto mentor of libya instead of italy? Italy obviously wasn't able to keep libya safe or keep french supported seperatists in control. Ahhh aged like milk. Has to do with the fact that you opted for propaganda than analysis when making the video originally. It was pretty obvious to everyone that East-Mes pipeline was economically univable as pipes crossing waters instead of land in that part of the world is simply too expensive. It was never going to happen and everyone was saying that for years and a couple months ago USA government released a statement saying they didn’t support East-Med and it died with a whimper. You don’t seem to be aware of that. This video seems like it was done in early 2021 or something. Many of the things you represent as the current reality are simply not the case anymore. Turkey has begun a reapproachment with Egypt and Israel and Greece basically stfu about the East Med as soon as USA said no and begun talks with Turkey. Russia’s actions in Ukraine essentially forces the west to improve relations with Turkey. By establishing itself as the neutral diplomatic center, Turkey has avoided being pressured into sanctions and also gained a dozen or so new cards for its deck. The sanctions against TB2 and Turkish defence industry will most likely be nominally dropped in the next 6 months when Erdogan asks Zelensky to make a statement saying as such for more weapons. Greece was never going to have all of the East Med for itself jusr because it was gifted a tiny Ottoman rock by Italy with 500 people on it lmao

There is only 1 small island of 5.000 m2 at 1.500 meters of Turkish coast in Eastern Med. Sea. And the Greeks say: We own everything. For example: Greece has island in Aegean sea. Island A and island B. The Greeks say: Because we own island A and B everything between these islands/rocks are also ours and not yours.
and islands do not have economical zone in waters only territorial waters. Look for example the Brittish islands in front of French coast. Those island only have territorial waters not EEZ. For example Brittain should claim for those islands 200 km of exclusive zone around it. Thats what Greece is doing.
Greece knows they are not right in this case like many things. Greeks have a Hellenic dream called: Migale Idea. They think they are the predecors of the Roman empire and therefore everything belongs to them. They want to make the Aegean sea and Eastern Med. Sea a Greek water with uniting with Cyprus. this video has incredibly amount of bias against turkey in it. you used a "greek eez" map that was made by a institute for a research, a map that has no authority. you didn't mentioned that turkey applied it's maritime border agreement with libya to un which un approved(since no country in the united nations objected (including greece nor egypt) it went to the archives. whereas greece-egypt maritime border agreement wasn't even submitted to un and didn't used by nobody else but greece. on top of that in recent months egypt literally ditched the agreement in order to improve relations with turkey. on the topic of africa and african countries you are literally scratching the surface.. it's like having a present but not opening the box and just complaining that what kind of a present is it. just saying that they sold weapons to them, built military camps while totally ignoring that turkey most and foremost importantly helped the people of those countries. recently democratic republic of kongo invented turkey and turkish companies. specially infrastructure companies because of building 3 new cities from scratch and new power plants. they also want to mine underground products with turkey. will turkey sell weapons to them in the future as well? probably, because that's how partners act to improve their relationships. and these are just the ones with the most obvious biased topics, there's a lot more as well.
in order to preamp my defense line as I won't check this comment again: it's totally understandable when a person defends his or her country but when it comes to turkey or turks they're just talking nonsense or doesn't respect others when they defend their country against this kinds of arguments. I know that even in this comment there's gonna be some people that will say that my arguments are thrash. but when it comes to their "rights" they will do everything that they can to defend their countries rights. what a hypocrisy...

He also destroying Egypt population and committing massive crimes against humanity as well as taking people houses and bulidings. He is not a president. Egypt is just 5% away from being NK.
Also let Turkey take the entire Muslim world, including Arab world. As an arab and Muslim i support that. They also have all the right to do so.
The last military coup was because of the deep inner state and CIA. USA wanted to make Turkey a dictatorship like it was before in 80s and before that. USA and Europe are against Turkey and Russia is kind of against Turkey too as well as Iran and Israel and ass leaders of Arab world bs kings. Turkey had must play both sides with useing Russia. As it is with NATO for compating Russia, it is a major power. It plays Russia and USA. Since Ottoman took the annoying arrogant city of Constantinople and Pope declared Crusade against them out of nowhere and Turkey is fighting all of Europe, Russia and Persia.
Current Iran government is crap: they are not Muslim (government in power). They useing and manipulating Shia Islam useing bs and lies for their agenda. The government is : a racist ,Islamophobic, arabphobic, supremacist, Zoroastrian extremists, hyper ultra nationalist scums that wants Neo-Persian Empire to hate on Arabs of how they took down the Persian Empire for once and all in 7th century. Eventhough first Caliphate had geopolitical resones for survival and historical context reality and shortcomings of information and communication + the Persian Emperor was and that dynasty is big jerks (insulted the prophet and hleped a rebellion against central government, as well as being generally disrespectful + racist and supremacist arrogant).
They are crazy genocidal ultra-psychopaths. Look at Shia bs in Iraq.
That is not Islam and that is not Shia or Suni. It is just not Islam, it is a different religion all together, but they insist they are Muslim eventhough they broke first basic law in Islam of stick clear Monotheism - into a Christian catholic like fashion. That is bs.
Hopefully, Pakistan-Afghanistan and Turkey + Azerbaijan together invade with Pakistan nukes Iran and divided in half.
Then Turkey with Pakistan hlep takedown Iraq and Syria and take down Lebanese government. Then bulid and capitalise on like YSA did to Europe and Japan after WW2. Then useing intelligence change the ruleing governments in Arabian peninsula and nake them into USA (United States of Arabia) as a puppet client satilate 3 states of Turkey useing Hashemite and others and good voice in Saudia family. Then add Yemen as theird member. The go after the Egypt dictator head useing intelligence and strength Libya.

The problem is when the selfish ambitions of the few in power want to garner support from their people by making up threats and lies to entice and trick the people into hating the other so that they're distracted from the suffering inflicted onto them by their own government.

Turkey's blue homeland(mavi vatan) isn't related with Erdogan. It's fair. It is appropriate to international law and principles of law especially proportionality. Greeks have no rights on eastmed. They don't even have border to Eastmed. They always claim maximalist things which violates international law. As a secular Kemalist Turk, I totally support Mavi Vatan. This is not related with Erdogan and it's not their approach. Greeks are good at manipulation.. They always violate international law, treaties but they are playing innocent role. Not only against Turkey. They don't accept minorities in Greece with their own identity. They don't accept christian Albanians, Pomaks, Turks etc. They bullied Macedonia to change it's name. It was blackmail for eu membership of Macedonia. Greece is violating Lausanne and Paris treaties. UNF our government has bad fame which hurts us a lot even If we are right.

Go on people, just compare which one looks more rational or fair ? You shouldn't forget Greece doesn't even have coast to Eastmed while Turkey has longest coast to Eastmed. Greece is claiming 400 times more rights than Turkey. They are ignoring Cypriot's Turks rights.. It's not religionist issue. If you are based christian hear this, there are at least 4 million Christian Turks such as Gagauz, Sekel, Chuvash. In fact when you think turanian origin of Hungarians etc the number reaches to 20 million people. Population of Greece is 10 million and trust me half of them are not even greek, they are Albanian, Vlachs, Turks, Pomaks, Macedonian etc. Therefore it's not a religion issue. So much wrong with this video
    1. Completely ignores the case law on the issue whereby the EEZ of a xountry's coastline always gets priority over some island or territory of another nation. You can't just rob Turkey of its EEZ and pretend this is normal. Esp not considering Turkey isn't party to the Unclos. Neither is the US. But even under UNCLOS Turkey would eb right.
    2. EEZ and territory issues are separate. Turkey has had a casus belli on 12 since the 90s because it would literally make it so that the Istanbul harbor is only accessible through Greek waters which would time Greece and EU the ability to choke of Turkey's biggest port. Its lunacy to think any country would allow that.
    2. The Islands were given "back to Greece"?? Those islands were LEASED from the Ottomans not Greece. You loaned Turkish Islands, even promised not to give them to Greece and still do so. And here you're shamelessly claiming you "gave them back".
Literally everything in this video is propaganda to make it seem as if Turkey is being unreasonable. When it's Greece that's being ultra maximalist trying to land lock Turkey and deprive Tuekey from its EEZ.

NATO and America are monstrous hypocrites who believe they have the right to governor what is right and wrong on every country in the world and then violating it themselves. As a Christian, I have no problem with Muslims, in fact, I have much respect for the religion and the cultures surrounding it, and I dream of a day where all religions can come to a peaceful resolution, especially between Christians and Muslims. But it is Jewish forces behind much of these conflicts, which include Israel and America. It's funny, because these very countries have created extremism in the middle east by devastating the local populations of countries such as Afghanistan or Iraq, resulting in hundreds of thousands of civilian deaths...and then 2 decades later believe they can STILL govern and criticize these people. I really agree with your point at the end for Muslims needing to put down their differences and fighting against the true evil, however, I believe ALL people of the world should do this...get together and destroy the true evil plaguing humanity...Globalists...an ideology hell bent and destroying all cultures, idenity, and religion...globally unifying all nations to obey one group of people. Globalism has destroying the Middle East through exploitation and pure evil...and now it is also destroying the West. Why do you believe NATO is so hellbent on wiping Russia and China off the map? Reading the comments here from turks, is just overwhelming. For any educated person be cautious on what you read, these people consciously or not, believe mostly in lies that their TV feeds them. A good summary for anyone based on what they support.
    1. It's not the island of kastelorizo, but a homogeneous network of hundreds of inhabited (!) islands starting near mainland coasts and ending to kastelorizo where their territorial waters overlap each other, this practically makes agean sea a "greek lake".
    2. Map of sevilla that was created by university under the commands of europe for every European/mediterranean country, has more credibility that a imaginary map from a Turkish officer.
    3. Applying "papers" to UN and after become archives doesn't give any sense of validity. (last appliance from turkey about the sovereignty of greek islands)
    4. Turkey-Libya treaty has not been voted by libyan parliament.
    5. Greece claims are absolutely valid based on UNCLOS the only legal framework that exists which turkey has not signed but follows it in black sea.
Last but least, every time you watch a turk believing they have right, tell them that Greece has proposed many times to go to International courts, and wait for their answer.

Most of what you say is false. Turkey was in an economic depression when Erdogan came to power. Erdogan saved the Turkish people from misery. The economy was very weak, so it started close relations with Europe and the Arab world. He invited Arab and European investors to Turkey. Hot money entered Turkey. Erdogan has spent it on the defense industry and technology development. He built countless factories in the country. He tried to make Turkey a production base. Germany and France were very uncomfortable with this situation and prevented Turkey from entering the European Union. Erdogan had good relations with the western world and was a very democratic president. The serious rise of Turkey began to disturb these two economies. Turkey had enlarged its share of the pie. America was secretly supporting the terrorist organization PKK in northern Iraq and training terrorists in order to divide and disintegrate Turkey. Erdogan objected to this and conducted military operations in northern Iraq dozens of times, killing american weapons and different terrorists in training camps. America is the boss of the deep state in Turkey. American puppets in the Turkish army were threatening to stage a coup against Erdogan with their statements every day. He was directing a democratically elected administration at gunpoint. Moreover, erdogan had no media in Turkey. He could not explain himself and the media supported the coups. Turkish media is actually Turkish-speaking American media. The West decided to destroy Erdogan and attacked en masse. First, demonization activities started about Turkey in the western public opinion, and then they demonized Erdogan. Scaring the Arabs, they gradually withdrew their money from Turkey and prevented their investments. A secret embargo was imposed on Turkey. All the weapons that Turkey needed were no longer supplied. Weapons were donated to states hostile to Turkey. After Erdogan paid Turkey's last debt to the IMF, he declared war on the West. first, it destroyed the Fetullahists, the structure of the USA in Turkey. America panicked and mobilized groups in the Turkish army to respond to Erdogan and launched a coup. America was defeated. America attacked Turkey on the exchange rate and serious dollar movements started in Turkey. This was a declaration of war over the economy. America has been attacking the Turkish economy since 2013. The real war started in 2015. He tried every way to bring Turkey into the war. He used the pilots, who were in the Turkish army and later among those who attacked Erdogan, to fight Russia. They shot down a Russian warplane in Syria, they did this to bring Turkey and Russia into war. In the same way, the fetullahists affiliated with the USA assassinated the Russian ambassador. America did all of this. Erdogan explained the current situation to Putin, and Putin understood. These moves made by America to weaken Turkey were inconclusive. Now America is planning to attack Turkey with its own army and its own trained terrorists. It encourages Greece against Turkey. When the Greeks came out with a map that violated the Turkish continental area, Turkey reacted to this. He published his own map in Turkey and defined the sea borders covered by this map as the BLUE VATAN. After numerous tensions, America established more than 20 bases in Greece. It conducts exercises with Greece almost every month with 40,000 American soldiers. It equips the Greek army and donates thousands of armored vehicles. This is a harbinger of the coming war. America supported the PKK in Syria, using the pretext of hearing it, and now it has formed a PKK army, the number of which is around 120,000. He continues to train this army, all in preparation for the Turkish-American war that will take place in the future. As Turkey, we are ready and we will defeat America.

Turkey's economy is indeed not in it's desired position yet and it also has a inflation problem that is steamed by the last year's lira decline and also inflation today has become a world problem because of the rising cost of living caused by all the problems in the world that started since 2020, but it still isn't in such deep waters economically as portrayed in this video first to begin with lira has drastically stabilized since the introduction of the liraization and gold saving schemes and cb interventions and 2) as mentioned in this video that turkey is not attracting investments from the western world that indeed is a very false statement as turkey's biggest foreign investor happens to be the netherlands.3 turkey's economy grew around 9.8 to 11% in 2021 had the SECOND biggest growth in OICD just behind the u.k GDP nominal went from 720 billion dollars in 2020 to around 806 billion dollars in 2021 my point is the facts you mentioned about the economy are somewhat correct but also somewhat false as the currency decline that you mentioned is true but also somewhat done by the government to boost exports which proved not all so wrong as it broke turkey's all Time export record last year exceeding 220 billion dollars now.

@@TempusEst to begin with. i respect your opinions.
i as an economist don't think it's about politicians i think its more about policies I have my own thesis on Turkish economy and it's foreign policies in my opinion Erdogan's policies and economic reforms from 2002-2016 with their ups and downs got turkey to great places economically then it faced slow down from 2017-2020 because of multiple internal and external factors, then in 2021 although the economy enormously grew but was overshadowed somewhat and in places alot because of the currency decline which happened because of the 500 basis interest rate cut, decline could be avoided if the rates were simply untouched and also the inflation would have drastically subsided but they tried an very unorthodox way which economist who go by the book which is correct ,would disagree with this idea but on the other hand Turkish economy needed substantial boost which in other words mean soaring exports and to boost that weaker currency is always a plus .the current exchange rate is high (1$- 14.68 TL)
But as reported by Goldman Sachs the actual exchange rate should be around atmost 1$ -9.5 TL which with current inflation rate being almost 55% which could go up to +60% is not possible in short term but eventually when inflation starts easing then naturally the currency will also start getting stronger which if all goes as said could positively reach around 8.7-10.5 tl by the first quarter of 2023.

@@moapps1461 my brother. I also understand you but I want to be honest. I've been living in Turkey since I was born and I know these places well. I don't know where you live, but you're looking at it from a more formal angle. Unfortunately, what happened in the book is not the same as what actually happened. In all the time I have lived in Turkey, I have never encountered such a lousy economy. And this damn economy is sinking day by day. If you are talking about the Gross Domestic Product, I do not know if it is increasing, but if it does, it is because of the ridiculous population increase effort. For example, India ranks first in economy in the world, but it is not rich because the general economy is provided by a large population. The Turkish economy isn't terrible, but it's worse than it used to be. Let me give an example: your salary is 4000 lira and the dollar rate is 8 lira. One liter of sunflower oil costs 40 liras. In this case, your salary is $500 and a liter of sunflower oil is $5. You can buy 100 sunflower oil with your salary. The following month, the dollar rate rises to 15 liras and a liter of sunflower oil increases by 35 liras with taxes. And then the government makes a statement and announces that it will raise 770 TL to the minimum wage. your salary would be $318. The price of a liter of sunflower oil is still $5. In this case, you can buy 63 sunflower oil with your salary. and this is a reality lived in Turkey. I just gave an example over something. the economy is collapsing if we take into account the new incoming taxes and the rising expense of other products. never will also arrange. this is a political crisis of politicians. It was not an economic crisis.

Now as you just Said you have never seen economy in this condition before, well the thing is you right when it comes to current inflation but in the bigger picture the GDP,the exports, the tourism despite COVID, defense industry and much More is not only in good shape it's best since the introduction of the republic other than the GDP which was higher in 2013 at around 957 Billion dollars but it still is better than the past four years it fell to around 695 billion dollars but came back upto around 805 billion dollars and also it's not as you said because of the population increase it's because of the cheaper exports and tourism. Now back many things that you said is correct but All of that is not general economy that is household economy which truly as you said is hurting peoples savings and day to day living is getting costlier because of the crushing inflation .but trust me and i repeat i don't support any sort of political parties. That this economic shift was a must and see people don't understand that it's not Germany or France where everything can go by the economic book's it's in the region bordering Syria iraq Ukraine Russia Iran, it's not boarding neutral Switzerland. So what happens in the region effects turkey and it can no longer go with the same economic policies of 2002-2016 . It has to have shift for better or worse future will show but I am positive and also if the current ruling party changes i hope the next one follows the same model and also the inflation will pass and the currency will reach a stable point I'm not hoping and saying this i have been studying this for the past 4 years and now the be it foreign policy or economy the government has reached it's goal and now is as i say re- friending with all of it's old friends and that is enough of a good indicator.
