I really appreciate the complete absence of personal drama. The production quality is on par with cable tv, but I don't have to deal with the forced suspense of inter-personal conflicts that are pretty much standard on those types of show. Well done.
YrocATX Aggreed. These guys used to be on a show that I believe was called “Prospectors” but this is so much better.
@@dakotasrocks I used to like that show, minus the drama. This is much better!
I agree I hate when they have the personal drama.
I completely agree. Absolutely no need for personal drama. The suspense and reward is enough drama in itself.
i agree the injected drama is generally enough to make me stop watching those shows... just dig and share... good stuff.
Aquamarine is my birthstone. I have a couple of pieces of Aqua jewelry, but I honestly never thought about where it came from or how difficult it was to find. Thank you for this video. I have a new appreciation for them!
Did not know aquamarine was this desirable. Good to know as it is my birthstone in the western system.
@20:00.25 that's a nice extraction. I live for moments like that 😅 omg I gotta go dig now. Heading to my spot asap dig a little deeper folks.
GREETING FROM EL SALVADOR IN CENTAL AMERICA, NICE REAL SHOW P, KEEP IT UP
Been lookin forward to this one
You guys produce blogs like I do I have a Blog called weekly blog and it's more like every 3 months blog lol
What's up primo
How many times do they say ‘clicker’ 😂
This is way better than anything on TV right now. Bravo for keeping the focus on the rocks and not the miner's lives. Everything I hate about reality TV you have avoided. Love this content!
Did you see the Dallmyd collaboration last month?
*watches one geology video*
RUclips: so you've chosen prospect
Prospect without the dramatic bullshit tho
anybody else hoping the mountain goats will make an appearance again?
Love seeing the wildlife in videos!
Great news for all you rock hounds! We are about 3 weeks out from a new season of episodes!
Can't wait!
Looking forward to it, hope y'all have had a good season out there!

A tip from crystal digger to another, try using reinforcing walls to keep the scree in check. I have been digging crystals for just over 10 years now, including Aquamarine, Fluorite, Opal, Quartz crystals, Tourmaline, Amazonite and Topaz.
Also I use a wooden dowel for probing clay seams, its more effective then having to hand rinse the surface; just collect everything crystal like and sort it off site.
Do you Sean, dig in the same type of area
@@rivchick I have, not recently...
I have been digging double terminated quartz crystals out of sandstone vugs as of lately.
For the more exotic minerals it's been a few years:
Topaz/Fluorite/Beryl/Kyanite 2011
Opal with fire, 2012
Amazonite/Tourmaline 2015
Double Terminated Quartz and Epidote crystals almost every year (including last month).
To the reason for the wooden dowel is to probe clay vugs without breaking the crystals (used to use a screwdriver with distorious results, broke a golf ball sized double term).
As for the onsite vs offsite washing, I just collect all the clay "gumballs" I find and wash them when I get home/to-camp. Its more time efficient then burning daylight on the side of mountain.
PS: All the sites I have dug are in British Columbia, Canada.
Would you have any advice for someone going to there first dig I’m going ocean view mine at end of month Iv always been into rock hounding as a kid just got back into as a adult
Bạn đến từ đâu? Tôi có thể trao đổi kinh nghiệm khai thác đá quý từ bạn không? Tôi đến từ Việt Nam nơi có aquamarin, ruby...
I am a Canadian mom in my late 30’s and though I don’t think I will ever get to do it, digging for gems has been a life long dream of mine! I don’t think I have any place readily available for me to actually do it living in Edmonton, Alberta but I hope to some day! Enjoy your exciting work!
“Exploded” your diaphragm?
This show brings me so much joy. The professionalism is captivating. I could watch for days.
100% i wanna know why this channel doesnt have more subscribers, its literally a tv show, The history speaks for it self too!
Did you see the Dallmyd collaboration last month?
I like the way everyone treats each other - as human beings, and with great respect. I also like the minerals you're digging up. As a mineral collector of 60 plus years, I can only envy what y'all have at your calloused fingertips. Much respect for your hard work and group effort!!!
Aquamarine is my absolute favorite. I have a beautiful pear shaped Aquamarine pendant that I can’t let go of. It’s my favorite piece. I have a super old ring set with a Ruby that’s a close second but that icy blue just sings to my soul.
We need more episodes more often ....i wanna mine Mt. Antero so fn bad
Come get some blue!
@@mountanterotreasuresproduc1895 seriously one of my dreams and im only 1 state over in Nebraska
@@markfox3728 I dream of doing the same, and I'm also in Nebraska!
@@markfox3728 I visited nearby, and dreamed the whole time about going up there.
@@mountanterotreasuresproduc1895 I would love to. 10 yrs ago I moved to CO and visited Mt. Princeton Hot Springs. As my usual rock-hounding, gold mining self, I researched that area and found that Mt. Antero had a wealth of gemstones and mining through the years. I told my husband that we need to visit Mt. Antero to see if we can find some "smokies." We never did it in person, but we are living that dream through your production. Thank-you a million times over!! Colorado Springs, CO
If i could work in an operation like this for a living, this would be a dream come true, just spending hours in rough conditions to reveal beautiful stones from the earth. It's hard work but very rewarding when it pays off.
I love these videos.... They totally rejuvenate my life. I want to be up there once before I get too old.
Thatz a fact would lo e to dig if I could ever get the chance you folks are so lucky.you get to do what you love.
Another amazing episode! Congrats on the big haul!
I wish you all safe working!!!
You gave me hope Tracie after a pedestrian vs. vehicle accident Dec 2018 at near retirement age ,rock hounding has always been a passion since my uncle brought us up to Ruby Mt as children all we found was Apache tears. Seeing you up there gives me renewed hope that I can still play on the mountain as soon as I can walk better.
Thats such a blessing to hear. Thank you for sharing your story as well. I would love to dig with you. Please keep in contact and lets make that happen. Never ever give up and stay positive and the possibilitys are endless.

your wife hard-working
you doing a great job your grandfather he would be proud of you if he was here
I've been there before it's not easy the drive is worth it
I spend one month a year mining different gem
First thumbs up hit that button yall
If you play it backwards, it looks like a bunch of people stashing Walter White's good good
Amazing Color and Quality Aqua. I'd love to facet some of that beautiful aqua. But my pension doesn't provide a budget for those prices.
I'm sure the facet rough is equally expensive but it sure would cut beautiful gemstones.
Subbed. Only ten minutes in and this is 1000x better than the mt antero show that appeared on the weather channel
Is Mt. Antero completely leased out? Any claims left?
Pretty much David, but we do mineral searching agreements to prospect on our claims! Come on up!
@@mountanterotreasuresproduc1895
Come on up where?
Where can I find more info on your mineral searching agreements? Your store in Buena Vista?
you can get his email address in the "About" section above
Can I make a suggestion? Not really sure it would help but how about at night you put one or a few of those foil blankets on those rocks to keep them warm maybe? Would that help keep the rocks from freezing ya think?
Aqua is the stone of Truth...It opens up the Blue chakra... Such an awesome show!
Wow, I would love to come out there and dig for the thrill! Looks so exciting.
Thanks for checking out my little gold nugget in the shop yesterday y'all are great people and looking forward to our next visit. Blessing from 719LifeStyle
Aquamarine is one of the most beautiful gemstones out there...
So is that it ?
Will there no longer be any episodes ?
If more ... When ?
We are about to release the next season. Just wrapped up the 2020 season and will be rolling the season out with 1 episode a month. Thank you so much for the support!
Cant believe I just found this page! I thought this was some series on discovery I missed. Great production, filming and editing. And even better, its NOT on discovery or history channel. All credit deserves to go to you and your hard work alone. Great show. Cant wait to watch season two in the next couple hours lol. Hope theres filming for 2021!
Anymore episodes? I really enjoyed these. We have nothing like this here in Orlando, Florida that we can mine. Really wish I was in better health and had the ability to travel, I\d pack up my 3 year old daughter and go for it
It will be 3am here when it primiers
BUT i cant wait!
The gems are only worth what people will pay for them
Absolutely THRILLED for you all 😍 Great production as well 👏👏👏👏👏

I’m so glad I stumbled upon the series! The production value is fantastic and the content draws you in.
I live in Minnesota where I go hunting for Lake superior agates as well as have the ability to find hematite stained amethyst more north from where I live. My family is moving out to Colorado in the next week and I will be visiting! I plan to make time to gem hunt and I’ll be doing my research on who to connect with for that
Minnesota too! Always been intrigued with rocks/gems. Started agate hunting when I was 8 with my Grandma.
@@donnakreye3716 me, too! I treasure those times. I always think of her when I see a cool or beautiful stone, thinking about how she’d like it! I live in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, and hunt on Lake Superior when I can.😁😍
Aquamarine poor man's DIAMOND. ( WORTHLESS STONE only for does who have no money !!! )
I was confused who Jim Clay was...
Exciting! I will not be awake when this premiers, but will catch up in the morning!
Sorry just curious, is it bad for the environment for the long term? Or nothing will happen to them?. Btw good show
Do you see a pristine environment atop that mountain, full of endangered species? Do you see them damming rivers, levelling virgin forests, and dumping mercury everywhere? Did you watch the video? What on earth is there that they could possibly harm?
I found a beautiful geode in my backyard among a quarts vein just exposed by runoff, I think this video inspired me to go amethyst hunting close to my area, thanks guys and really amazing to watch! (:
$400K split in some manner between that many people doesn't look like a pathway to riches. Good honest work though.
How much is each team member making if you had to estimate
starting at 4:10 what is this music/song? this a an amazing piece and I'd love to know what it is, thanks! awesome video!
OOOhh myyyy!! Great Show!!! Really!!!! I come from Italy; chasing gems ( heart beating...sparkling eyes...great satisfactions) would be the first thing if I will ever come to U.S.
There are so many places you can go gem-hunting, in various different climates and altitudes. You’ll find a lot of places that are open to hunt in.
Serious question. What keeps his workers honest?
I love this channel! My husband and I sat down and watched every single video! Can't wait for it to come back!
we are about 2 weeks out from the next episode!
yall a bunch of bad actors lol if you find it in those amounts like you portray it, its actualy much less worth then the values shown.
Tim having a new nick name would make him the literal ex-tractor. Lost opportunities.
Teach us about the gem clay. What else can be found in that stuff? What if its on a mountain near devils head?
This episode in particular is a real treat to watch. Just like one of the miners said "the first living organisms to encounter god's treasures."
I would like to know how you are able to breathe at 14,000 ft elevation????
I bet the clay goop.is the real money maker they have to much cristal piling up for the gem market to sell
I Love this mining series videos. Nice taken for a good moment. For me is only the gems beauty aquamarine. I love to have one of this gems, couse it can't produce in my country south-east asian
Yall have such a great production group put together for these productions. Thanks for doing these.
They just threw the stash like a sack a potatoes, on the bk of that truck?, 😂😂😂😁
Guys where do you sell your gemstones cause I have been collecting them but now I need to sell and I have no idea where or to who.
Wow, what amazing finds. Has to be so much fun. Was fun to watch. Great video
Absolutely hooked. Can’t wait for next season... for your sake and for mine. Question, I’m no mathematician, but the estimated total has to be way low... I don’t see any way that 350k could keep that kind of operation in business.
That's probably profit? I would also think so
Great show. I can't wait for episode 5. Those electric blue aqua's are stunning. I would love to see a nice big electric blue faceted gem. Do you find topaz that high up? What about phenakite? Seems like everything you guys do is 1st class.
Nice work, love your videos, you guys make reality tv look like a bunch of 3rd graders!
If the find was very profitable there has to be a way to leave a person (with a partner for safety) on the mountain to guard the find.Mountain gear has advanced enough to be able to stay.Im responding to the part of the show that stated people were watching with binoculars to swoop in.I say absolutely no way.Somebody on the team stays and leaves in the morning when the work crew shows up.
Wow! So soon! Really excited for this one!
Brutal......, Epic........, Giant big thanks for sharing this videos, im loving it. Your best Prospector is Chris Keilman, he has the touch of midas for the blue
@GreenTech PT. Thanks for the comment! I truly love prospecting for aquamarine. Cheers!
Because of the TV show , regular people cannot search mt antero for gems.
Now much a carote Will you sell me some of your best blue for my girl????? ?
i see they are always using water. but wouldnt it be a good idea to have overly large
syringe, to suck back up the water. seeing it would be quite limited having water there.
better than crossfit

Fascinating to watch so many scratching in the dirt for little bits of blue glass the naked ape is a strange beast
j think every1 should have a bick name and when sum1 duz not have 1 i make them 1
This should be on netflix... thank you so much for sharing your passion through this very well made piece of cinematography. I would love to know more about how this series was produced, what kind of video equipment was used and what struggles the filmteam had to go through.
Thank you, glad you enjoyed the show! Canon C100/C300, a few Go Pros , 1-2 man film crew, and a shotgun mic. And sprinkle in a DJI drone.
@@dannymcpadden3158 Lecky is right, this ought to be on Netflix, great work!
Thank God it is not on Netflix, they would have the production company fake drama the hell out of it.
Came here from Jake’s channel, wanna see some of the old stuff
Given all the high-priced bottled water you're pouring out on those rocks, you better hit pay dirt to cover your costs.
seems to me like a generator powered steam/hot water pressure washer would go a LONG ways up there towards melting that permafrost.
I do not think you would be allowed to use that on top of Antero, not to mention the lack of oxigen at plus 14000 feet...
@@radudiaconu2851 they've had heavy equipment and a generator up there before
So this is where breaking bad started. Mad turnout 😉

Why don’t you use a flat-headed screwdriver
These "estimated values" are pure bogus lol
AMAZING!!!! I absolutely LOVE watching ya'll rake it in.................LOVE the blue!!!!!!
Bro like how
looks like you found Heisenberg's stash
I want to try that too! Looks super fun!
Amazing I wish I could find a piece of Aquamarine, it's my birthstone March. 💙
Beautiful. 👍
You can do it!
As an admin, my thinking goes to risk management. How do you incentivize against or prevent pilfering?
Well, it’s not an easy place to get to, or work, but there’s no way to prevent claim jumpers unless you live onsite. Casual diggers are very, very unlikely to find a single scrap of aqua in a days work. Can’t prevent employee theft, can only trust them.
Great Videos! Thoroughly enjoyed watching!
The occasion is life at its 👌 👍 😍 love u too
She’s selling mountain mud..😂
I might suck at moving dirt, but if you guys ever need a photographer I would be soooo game to make a trek up that way next season.
Will there be a 5th Episode any time soon ? The time waiting between each episode's release is painful !
