@@SrikantNair76 Sir ..am planning to buy seconds either Etios or Altis , but not getting idea of maintenance of both ...as parts cost are different of both the model .. Altis parts are very costly and I have no idea of durability ...can you please guide ??
@@sheikhhossain4775 don't know about Etios, but can definitely vouch for Altis, regular servicing charges are low, parts are a bit on the higher side but very durable and long lasting.

Bhai mere paas corolla 2007 model tha petrol ek number chalta tha... 123bhp mileage but 12k milte the city m aur 15k highway m..190 thk chalaya hu..sold it for 1.80 lakh kya zabardast gaadi tha yaar...I feel bad now...

when i lived in US, i owned a Corolla 1999 for 5 years from 2010 to 2015, it was a good point A to B type car, good on mileage, no issues, but leg space etc is cramped, overall not a family car. Now in 2020, I am buying a Nexon 8)
in India it is discontinued but it is really not worth buying a new corolla, it is hugely overpriced!
This is very good for daily driving for people who go to work by car daily

I was also the altis 2010 petrol model no doubt the powerful car 140 to 150 BHP powerful car fun to drive car in petrol but but only the reason I sold out because of mileage of 6kmpl to last 8 or 9 in city n highway I was also the second owner and sold it in some time almost 1 yr but the engine and car was car .

If it weren't for our infinitely imbecilic NGT old car rule, 5 lakh Rupees for a Toyota Corolla Altis is *mind-blowing value for money* , even with that mentioned servicing cost. It is sad that Toyota decided to discontinue this model and are selling the Innova Crysta and Fortuner at absurd prices. Even below the 10 lakh Rupee region, the only options one can get are the Yaris (which is a good car, but only available as a petrol model), and the badge/bodge-engineered Glanza. Though for the price one paid for this car when new, the Altis did have a stupidly underpowered diesel engine (the same engine was used in a 68 bhp version in the Etios, which had a fixed-geometry turbo compared to the Altis engine's variable-geometry turbo).
The Yaris has good gas mileage right?
