It’s hard to believe that we as a human race will have the answers to everything known to man in the palm of our hands.
I’m almost 60 years old and lived in the time where cell phones and GPS were not even a distant dream. If it was a dream we imagined that it would be 100 years in the future. It still seems to me like a miracle that I can text my son no matter where he is and get a reply in seconds. Now days everyone takes that for granted. I don’t.

Example circuit routing and chip planning was done by AI already. You are likely using the product. Also image recognition in agriculture for harvesting and weed management. Garbage classification for recycling etc. Medical imaging, xrays etc. Started way earlier.

As everyone knows, it’s not the manufacture that decides what is best. It is, in fact, the users of that product that decide which is best. There is not a chance in hell that apples’ AI will EVER surpass the users of chat GPT. Five days after release chat, GPT had over 1 million downloads, it will be interesting to see what Apple has done in the first five days. Chat GPT was released in November 2023, by JN 2024 100,millions downloads. I THINK IT’S A GOOD SUGGESTION THAT WE TALK ABOUT HOW WE’RE PUTTING CHAT GPT four months after the Apple AI is released.

This is a very common misconception. While yes, Siri does listen to our conversations and technically 'spies' on us, all the data is stored directly on your phone. That's the "privacy" difference between Apple and its Android competitors. Andriods upload this data to the cloud, while Apple stores it directly on your phone. That's why Apple has storage issues much faster than Androids, for example if you have an iPhone and go view your storage, I can almost guarantee that at least 1/4 of your storage is used by "System Data" or "iOS".

I'm pretty sure Apple wud have done better optimization and efficient architecture than other LLMs. Apple's each and every product uses less resource and gives better output than others, their phone's Ram is half that of Android's yet performs better, and the apple CPU is just 6 core and performs better than octa core processors
