Guarantee it's Apple engaging in a marketing and sales tactic known as the "loss leader" strategy. This approach involves pricing a product or service at a loss or below its market cost to attract customers. The goal is not to make a profit from the sale of the loss leader itself but to draw customers into the ecosystem or platform where they will make additional purchases of more profitable items or services in the future. In tech and consumer electronics, this can often involve selling hardware at a low cost to encourage adoption, with the real profits coming from subsequent sales of accessories, software, or services. For example, printers might be sold at a low price with the profitability largely derived from high-margin ink sales. In digital services, companies might offer a basic service at a low cost or for free, with premium services and enhancements generating the revenue. The loss leader strategy is effective in building a customer base and encouraging familiarity and dependence on a brand's ecosystem, making it more likely that customers will continue purchasing within that ecosystem due to convenience, compatibility, or loyalty.
The charging cable looks as functional as the charging on the magic mouse. This toothbrush is looking like an upside down vanilla ice pop, focused on design my ass. OH wow, a waterproof toothbrush, how innovative. Imagine paying 70 dollars for a cheap reskinned electric toothbrush that looks mady goofy just because it comes in a fancy box. Can you tell i hate this product with all my heart?
Apple is moving away from accommodating the visually impaired. If there is an action button, they need to ensure to have it built strongly in to the accessibly features. Many tech companies are not thinking of every kind of customer.

It makes perfect business sense. A large chunk of the market is people who want the tech but not at apple prices. Fashion designers have done it forever.
I was just watching something else talking about how consumer behavior is changing and retailers are adjusting to fit; dollar stores going out of business; Target becoming partially a dollar store; Walmart aiming for higher income shoppers-all this due to consumer sentiment shifting to wherever the bargains are across all income ranges.
To merge the 2 worst selling model into one is a bad idea, there is no way it can increase the sales. Any sales with just barely reach the 5% of their yearly sales is not worth thr effort, they should focus on the 95% instead of the 5%.
@@TamasKiss-yk4stI hear that but I also hear that the plus is the worst selling in the line up. Seems most just jump from the standard size standard model to the pro or pro max.
Well they do need money due to these law suits and the Vision Pro… so any money for Apple is good money. And I wouldn’t even say, “budget friendly” because since the 12 pro max Apple haven’t put out a phone that’s “innovative” .. everything is the same except for MINOR tweaks
And that's why I've just bought a new 256 GB iphone 12 for a price lower than a SE 3. All the things they added in the last 3 years are just minor tweaks and it not worth spending 1200$ for those. They keep buzzing of what they do with their cameras, but a phone camera (the lenses) will never be as good as a dslr.
I don’t know how that would at all, if anything would make it worse. I have a 7th generation iPad and it’s got the 10.2” screen which is plenty good for me.

$100 for airpods is still steap. You can get Soundpeats Air4 for $50 and they are better than airpods, unless you have an apple device. This is that monopolizing tendency that they have showing its ugly face. See apple devices have two audio codecs SBC and AAC. SBC is required for things like car stereo so they have no choice, but it can still push more data than AAC. AAC is 320kbps and SBC can do 328kbps, now AAC is still better because it can compress higher quality streams and send them at a lower bitrate. But all codecs can do this besides SBC but AAC is the most aggressive with compression. Now the $50 Air4's use aptx and they have the whole spectrum from the new Lossless 1200kbps, HD, LL, Adaptive 576kbps, and regular aptx 384kbps. Samsung includes SBC 328kbps, AptX 384kbps, LDAC 990kbps, and Scalable 512kbps. Scalable is their proprietary codec, but they include Sony's LDAC and Qualcomm's AptX. Only brands like Sony, Asus, and Motorola do the better AptX codecs. But samsung still has double the codecs included 4 vs apples 2. Soundpeats also make the Air4 Lite with Sony's LDAC 990kbps and regular AptX and LDAC are included on all Android devices, apple should include them as well but guess what they don't and they got us in this wireless mess, and you thought cords are annoying.

I think the best path forward may be to have a cheaper Apple vision version. When there is a cheaper version, there will be more usage. A larger market share will create an incentive to create apps specifically for the Apple vision series. I do know that they will go on maybe on sale when they announce in September the new iPhones, I watches, etc. etc., but it would be nice to get a cheaper watch ultra
this is really about the market and maintaining their presence and dominance. Christmas shopping was the lowest 2023. Target is switching this year to becoming a bargain dollar store. Jobcuts are happening at an alarming rate. So this cheap phone in corporate sensibility makes sense. Nobody is buying things right now. Car sales are dropping people are in debt and rent is soaring, so hence a 99$ iPhone is a good way to hedge your bets. Fast food is losing money. Though maybe that's a good thing though. But hotels are lo9sng money because people aren't vacationing. nobody has the time or can afford to. So Apple is just adapting while they can.
The new magic keyboards for iPads do not have Backlit keyboards. Keyboards made in India and sold at my local Studio 7 in Thailand no longer have backlit keyboards. That is unacceptable to me. I guess when you compare apples with apples beware you don't buy a lemon.
It has been clear for a while now (see Microsoft) that money is no longer made by selling hardware, but rather getting everyone onboard an eco-system, and then ripping them off with subscriptions/software..
As long as apple integrates some of their features with samsung devices then im all for it but apple products revolving solely around the apple ecosystem isnt bad but its not good either.
I don’t think people realize the cell phone market… is relatively still a new market and nobody knows how it’s going to develop into or look like in 100 years

the xr was their best selling, if that se 4 is going in that direction then that's gonna sell like the xr
We need a macbook se
this is really about the market and maintaining their presence and dominance.
Here in Canada we’re still waiting for the Apple Vision to come out
It’s about Damn Time lol 😅I want iPhone 13 mini lol🎉
I'm expecting Apple to release a Vision Air, because it would be VisionAIRy. You can steal that if you want.
bro got this news from temu 🗿🗿
i cant wait for the es 4 to come out
8 gigs are still not 16 so 1000 min
Even with lower price, it is still $200-$300 more than what is affordable
The new magic keyboards for iPads do not have Backlit keyboards. Keyboards made in India and sold at my local Studio 7 in Thailand no longer have backlit keyboards. That is unacceptable to me. I guess when you compare apples with apples beware you don't buy a lemon.
i saw the title and went “no f-ing way, NO F-ING WAY”
Tim be cookin 🗿
I wish the se 4 would come out in January 2025.
Personally I am getting se 4. Unless it’s $1000+
Tim cook (ing)🔥🔥
It has been clear for a while now (see Microsoft) that money is no longer made by selling hardware, but rather getting everyone onboard an eco-system, and then ripping them off with subscriptions/software..
i think cuz there gonna make it cheap then more expensive in some years because they cant keep multiplying the prices
Peopke are still falling for this?
I think they should release the airpods with 64gb of storage make it a true Pod
i dont mind just having touch id and letting go of face id for a punch hole front camera but at least dual back camera will be better.
IPhone SE sized at 5.8 is probably nice.
As long as apple integrates some of their features with samsung devices then im all for it but apple products revolving solely around the apple ecosystem isnt bad but its not good either.
I think apple makeing the products cheeper is for sure a good thing becus they got to compeat with the samsung a lineup
Thank You so much....
I don’t think people realize the cell phone market… is relatively still a new market and nobody knows how it’s going to develop into or look like in 100 years
I reckon the IPhone SE will take the form of the recently retired iPhone 13, just with one less camera and a better chipset
No shit I’m suspicious. Are the gonna put a snapdragon in it. Dude I’m so in for this
