    Your copy of the game must have been bugged. Ruto popping into the Dark Link fight like the puppet from FNAF, the wedding at the end, that all happened when I played the game.

      How about the entrance to the basement under the inner-most room leading to the 3F Water Switch? Was that in your version too? Because in all the versions I've played that's just a Small Key. Not to mention the grate holding all the enemies in that underwater room is a dead-end if you try to float up it. Beating all the enemies in that room opens the one where you can actually surface.

    The key Terminal Montage had Link spending so long trying to find isn't the key that infamously caused many players to believe once upon a time that the Water Temple could be solved incorrectly so as to become impossible. The key he ends up finding is #6, the infamous key is #5. See one of two things used to happen. Players would either save and quit after getting the Longshot to take a break after Dark Link, or they would completely miss the time block behind the Longshot chest. Either way they'd return to the central room completely missing the snake-shaped room, do the thing with the eye switch that they probably made a few attempts at before getting the Longshot (the thing with the eye switch leads to pushing a block to reveal a chest with a key, aka key #6), and then start the trek to the Boss Key one key short. I don't remember if entering the room with the Longshot Chest fills in the snake-shaped room on the map, but part of the issue was that either they thought they'd been there already and thus didn't bother going back, or they couldn't figure out how to get there in the first place.

    • @devonm042690
      @devonm042690 24 дня назад +2

      @@ferrenYT The funny thing is, the Water Temple wouldn't actually change if those last two keys and the locks they're for didn't exist. The very first obstacle on the way to the Boss Key, before the first post-Longshot locked door is a progression check for the Longshot. You use the Longshot to cross a barricade of spikes, and then spend key #5. Not to mention that if those last two locked doors didn't exist, using bomb exploits to bypass the Longshot check with the spikes wouldn't lock up progression in the Water Temple.

      I thought it was the key under the block in the central room that caused most players to trip up. They had to change it in the 3DS version so the camera would zoom in on the opening, but it was pretty easy to miss in the original game.
      Still, I dunno. None of the keys should realistically be that hard to find after getting the compass, and that was pretty easy to find.

    • @devonm042690
      @devonm042690 23 дня назад +1

      @@lasatar6428 That one too, but I always heard more about players who got stuck right at the end. That's why the time block was also moved in the 3DS version, so it was on top of the hole rather than in it. As for finding them with the compass, the people who struggle with these two keys probably weren't thinking about the temple as a cohesive whole, so seeing parts of the temple with no doors, and in the case of key #5 connecting to the room with a crystal switch in a dragon statue's mouth but from really high up, must have tripped them up.

      Yep, there's always at least one thing off with the menu after the first pause. I really liked going through Link's panicked cycling frame-by-frame. At one point Link's third bottle was an Estus Flask, and then the next roll through the Select Item Subscreen it was just gone. He only had two bottles. Then the third bottle slot was filled with something else again (I'm not sure what it was). I also enjoyed the Iron Boots going flying after Link tripped/fell in the Equipment Subscreen.

    One aspect of the Water Temple being hard was how similar everything looked. It was very easy to forget where you came from and needed to go after changing the water level.
    In the DS versions, Nintendo added brightly colored lines to help you find the water changing spots. This change alone makes much easier to keep your bearings when you return to the central chamber.
    Also, looking back at my personal experiance, using Farore's Wind would have helped a lot.

    15:17 its an iconic part of ocorina of time but its not even shadow links first aperence in the series, i think thats all the way back on the the second game on the snes where he was the final boss, my personal dream game would have the twilight relm from twilight princess invade and have midna as the first half of the games antagonist, where shed fight link along with summoning a shadow version of link through a mirrior... spicific i know but we all have our own dreams, this is just one of mine, i know its never gonna happen... but its a fun idea to bring back our girl midna and shadow link, oh small side questio n, anyone else wish theyd bring back and expand on the lore of the fierce diety? they could do lyteraly anything with him and id be for it, make him a villain make him another servant of the goddesses, a boss, anything!... i just love the character... so much that i came up with a proper name for him.

      @ferrenYT  19 дней назад +1

      Wow! I totally think they'd be awesome! There's definitely a great opportunity for the shadow realm/twilight realm to make an appearance in the next set of games. I think they are on a good bath with the series and I'd love to definitely see more deep diving into lore once the next installment of the series comes out! It'd be pretty epic if they tried what you explained here!
      Also yes! Fierce Deity is such a cool concept and design, I'd absolutely LOVE if they'd revisit it, or even make a full blown Ocarina of Time / Majoras Mask remake! So many possibilities!

      The last key is #6, and unless you're just talking about reaching that last locked door without a key, you probably missed key #5. Key #6, is the one you find by shooting an eye switch on the second floor of the central room. Key #5 is at the end of the corridor of water with whirlpools scattered about that you enter from above by dropping into a hole in the Longshot room.

      @@devonm042690 I guess. Thinking it better it happened with two different keys, the one in the central room where you raise the water to the middle level and one that was behind a bombable wall near where you meet Ruto, the first one, I didn't know about the path under the platform, the second one, I forgot it was there when I first passed or I didn't pay attention when swimming up.

      @@franciscojaviermendezrinco1902 The one behind the bombable wall is key #4. As for the other one you mentioned, you do mean where you raise the water and then sink down into the basement? If so that's key #3. Both of these are needed to get the Longshot.

      @@CoralCopperHead Allow me to elaborate a few things for you, dude.
      First off, I can imagine you being mad at reaction content, especially seeing how easy it is to be lazily made or downright just stealing content (SSSniperwolf being the worst offender in both regards). But this guy's reaction format is far from the worst I have seen (I am saying this as an avid watcher of reaction content. We all have our personal enjoyments, ok? Ok.)
      Secondly, this guy, who I might as well add that this is the first time I am watching him, is not a content leach. If he was, it would be the exact same title with just 'REACTION!' slapped onto the start or end. Additionally, he does pause across the entire video to talk in between, which is a good trait for actual reaction creators to have, since they give proper voiced opinions on the video instead of brief speech when stuff happens.
      Thirdly, he has entire intro and outro segments in the video that are unrelated to the reaction itself, as well as having linked Terminal Montage's channel and the video in the description. Content leaches don't do this, for obvious reasons that are obvious.
      Listen, nobody (unless they actually are serious) is going to call you jealous of this guy. In fact, I find it commendable that you want to help in the effort of ridding this platform of content thieves. But you are targeting the wrong people here.
      So, by all means please, don't blow things way out of proportion without doing research and assuming every reaction channel is the same. They are not. There are bad ones, of course, but still plenty of good ones too. Thank you in advance.

      @@supremeseregios6810 I'm sorry, but I need to take that thanks and leave it on the ground, because I disagree wholeheartedly. There is nothing transformative or beneficial about reaction videos, and anything more I have to say would just be me rambling and ranting about what I've already said.
      On a semi-related note, the only Sniper Wolf I'm aware of is the boss from MGS1. Not sure why you brought them up.
