    Notice how during his time with the Pistons, there were a lot of low scoring games. One game, the Pistons held the Shaq/Kobe Lakers to under 70. Ben was a defensive beast!

    Growing up playing youth basketball everybody wanted to be on the pistons. Pistons, lakers, and spurs were the truth back in the day.

    I remember watching the 2004 finals and falling in love with how ben wallace played. Thats how i wanted to play. tough, physical defense. Unfortunately, my 11 year old self didnt know i would only grow to be 5'9" 140 pounds lmao. what a dream though.

    These were some of my favorite teen years watching the 2000s pistons. We were unlike any D in the leauge. Best all team effort in history. Best team with no divas on the team

    0:16 I spent three hours one Sunday even chatting with Jackie Wallace (Rasheed's Mom) at a very empty Center City Turf Club in 1991, when Rasheed was fifteen. She said she had to send him to NC for the summer because "all the girls wouldn't leave my boy alone." Very nice, strong lady.

    People act like the NBA didn't intentionally shift rules to encourage more scoring to make games "exciting". There was an open and active campaign to boost viewership which is why we have the low defense, high* scoring NBA that exists now.

      From 04-07 Ben and Shaqs teams played each other 4 straight years in the playoffs and Ben went 3-1 including a 5 game series for the title and sweeping Shaq in 07. Shaq has always been disrespectful to Ben and those Pistons teams because they had his number.
