My Chevy traverse 2011 out sudden the RPm started to go crazy went up to 8 thought 💭 was the transmission but it wasn’t i took it to diagnose and trowed me those codes P0008 power train system , showing timing set. Im lost as whats that is. I need help. That mean’s the engine is done ✅ or is cheaper to just get another or sell this thing for parts help me out very appreciate it

How did you diagnose this issue? How did you know you didn’t have to replace your timing belt? Also did you replace all 4 cam shaft sensors?

Timing chains make a loud noise thats how you know its the chains

Timing chain or timing chain tensioner failed possibly. Take to expert
