One of my fave things about ghost of tsushima is that the story is so realistic. The one man army like jin sakai is possible, the fact that he uses every tactic of desperation, he uses tactics and befriends enemies to stand a chance against mongols, it may be a little bit overexagerated, but using the ghost's weapons and killing a whole camp of soldiers is possible if you are tactical enough.

This was the better ending in my opinion atleast for Jin but not for Shimura , bcz Jin was stripped of his title as a samurai and disbanded his whole clan by the Shogunate and Jin already accepted his fate and declared that he'll choose the path of THE GHOST OF TSUSHIMA but Shimura is still a samurai and most probably will face some backlash by the Shogunate like stripping him of his title as the JITO and making him commit seppuku bcz of failing his task to kill the ghost who was an outlaw in the eyes of the shoguns . But killing Shimura didn't feel right , even though it's a game but killing a father figure who literally raised jin like his own son , trained him and gave him the affection that he needed unlike Kazumasa who was a terrible father to Jin after his mother died of sickness

I love the contrast of his character most, tbh. He is an absolute killing machine and one man army but also a kind, compassionate person who plays flute for forest animals & pets them, composes songs and haiku & protects innocent people & their lives in every way he can, often to his own detriment. He has a lot of empathy in general for those around him (outside of his enemies of course) a firm sense of justice and subtle dry humor. He's intelligent too, won't let anyone bullshit him and affirms his own beliefs instead of just believing what he's told. These small things make Jin really to a well rounded character outside of being completely badass. ❤
