First thing Michaelangelo looks like Slash's younger brother scary. Second thing Deadpool, with the TMNT weapons just fits with his character. Not only is Deadpool an assassin, and a ninja type character. which in the comics that's what the TMNT were and are. Deadpool's a character that's aware that everyone in marvel comics are characters. Also Deadpool is aware of other IP outside of marvel comics.
@patrickmcgavin2245 now that you mention it, Deadpool would be perfect to cross over with the turtles. Sucks that IDW can get collabs with pretty much every publisher other than Marvels so we'll probably never see it.
@eddiemorales7450 thanks dude! The deadpool was comic con exclusive so he came and went really fast and there was so much happening at that time it was hard to keep up with everything.
Great video keep up the good work. Not sure if you ever reviewed the TMNT / Power rangers figures on your channel or have them but they are on sale right now. I read the comic and its pretty good and thanks to your recommendation I started to read the IDW turtles books and it was hard to put the first hard cover down. Can't wait to pick up the others when they are on sale. Keep up the great work.
@roonis418 thanks dude! I think the only time I talked about them was in my Top 10 video from last year. Green Ranger Shredder was my favorite non TMNT line figure from last year (counted it as an MMPR figure). That's sick you got into the comics! Both of the MMPR crossovers are dope. The TMNT IDW run starts off super strong the first 20 or so issues are awesome. I actually should have a video regarding that coming out in the next month or so.
I was surprised Best Buy sold toys at all, I was in a store 3 months ago and was surprised to see super seven and the mirage TMNT figures on a shelf towards the back.
@alexhickenbottom2820 I don't know how long they've been doing it but I just became aware myself within the last year. Someone posted finding the first grey shirt casey there and I went to check it out and sure enough that's where I got mine.
A- "...army build..." I gotta say, the S7 foot soldiers did that for me. I only have the one 'exclusive' glow, and one regular, but, I do plan on getting like 2 more glow soldiers, and like 4+ more regular. Having a locker setup, with many lockers fully stocked with foot soldier weapons, would look amazing. I feel your pains there!! 2- Glowing Slash is absolutely my favorite S7 figure, second goes to regular Slash. His horrendously 90's colors sealed the deal for me. I like a lot of random extreme sports, and have broken many a bone, and I've had a cast in all of those colors, so he hits home for me!! I haven't even unboxed him yet, but I did pick up black craft sticks to work on a UV reactive diorama for him, when I get some time. D- I agree with Super7 being slow on the releases... I've been dying for Triceraton since he was announced, and Genghis Frog, and the original Shredder (my favorite, and I didn't buy the first one hoping they would do a different one, so I'm grateful he should show up soon!). But, if all goes well, I get 3 regular figures next month, Genghis, Shredder, and Robot Rocksteady, so I'm quite eager for them. I really hope they complete the rest of the frogs, because that would really seal my collection up tight. I'm a far cry from your impressive empire, but, I do build the dioramas for them, and that takes ages too! So my hobby is set for the next few years regardless of what Super7's schedule looks like! Thank you for all you do, it's always a joy hearing your updates and seeing the ever growing collection. Keep up the great work!
@3Y3ECE dude I feel like every kid had the neon cast haha. It definitely reminds me of that 90's era where everything was neon that's why I love Sewer Spitting Raph so much he's like a perfect figure from that time. S7 definitely isn't cheap to army build. I have four of the foot soldiers and that seems to be about right for me. I'm not sure if I'll get any more glow foots or not. Wave 8 is shipping now which is nice. The figs do look pretty damn good too I'm going to start picking them off. Probably going to get Genghis and Raph first. Space Cadet Raph was one of my childhood favorites.
Are they actual exclusive to bestbuy? Or is it like the target first to market drop ..splinter was a target first to market now there showing up other places.and when the second wave of return to ny come out they should be available at different places..the jones figure og mirage shirt color is red and idw is gray ..just like renet idw renet is copper brown mirage is blue...neca uses the word exclusive for everything and it's confusing..and the slash is awsome I ended up grabbing a second one ..and I used a star from the glow foot soldier to fill his belt and it matches the bits of blue ...sorry that was a long rambling mess haha a
@albatz1377 the website says that they are Best Buy exclusives but I would be very happy if they weren't and are just the timed releases. It is really annoying how confusing their releases are. Having a third store with exclusives doesn't help with that at all. Using the foot star is super smart good look on that one dude I never would have even thought about that.
All the recolors are based on Mirage Eastman/Laird colors while the first waves are based on IDW recolors. I know the Casey you're referring to and he looks a bit different because he's from the Lawson era when Eastman & Laird had functionally stepped back a bit from drawing interiors/covers as 1992 was around when the TMNT license was at its peak to a degree so they had their hands full with other projects. At that point, Casey had been altered by Lawson to have a slightly different look with a puffy vest and different colored shirt, likely just taking artistic license while keeping things still somewhat on-model to a small degree. I'm sure we'll see something like that down the road because NECA isn't about to walk away from reusing molds if it means just tacking on new paint and maybe throwing in a vest accessory.
@mortcrimpjr good info dude that makes sense with the colors. I bet you're right that we'll get the Lawson Casey at some point as well I feel like they are really going for as much reuse on this line as possible because it lacks the depth the toon line has, but it's pretty clear it's the line they want to really push right now.
LoL I didn't care too much for the Mutant Mayhem toys, but they were out on release day at my local walmart so I grabbed a set of the brothers. I've given those to my nephews for a birthday recently. They were cool for what they are tho; toys for kids at that 10 price. Bro, that Deadpool looks pretty sweet. I also grabbed a Marvel Legend: '97 Wolverine and Im glad I bought him. I let the Bonebreaker baf Wolvie go, same with that other retro-card Wolverine. I said "I will grab them next time" and haven't spotted either since. So I swooped animated Wolvie with the swiftness. I want to find a Weapon X figure now. That Wanderer is a damn cool figure. He is an awesome looking toy with some cool weapons. I am steady waiting for those Ronin brothers and Universal Monsters variants. I wasn't too excited for the reuse of Leo and Raph as Creature and Wolfman, but they look sweeeeet. Maybe that means there are going to be Mikey and Donny Monster variants....(?) I think I may buy the Samurai Turtles 2packs and keep my 4pack in-box. I was thoroughly surprised to see S7 Slash at Best Buy. I've seen Samurai Leo and Sewer Surfer Mikey, but to spot Slash in store was a sight to see.
@KootenaiKing that's what I'm saying definitely not great but for $10 they're not bad at all. They're starting to clearance on places like Amazon so if they hit $5 a pop I'll probably grab the regular ones. I haven't pulled the trigger on any of the '97 wave stuff but I definitely plan on it. The Wolverine and Gambit both look really good. I'm assuming it's the same as the VHS one but without the cell shading so I would prefer that honestly. I just got back into collecting when the Weapon-X figure was out and really wish I would have gotten him. He was my first Toy Biz X-Men figure ever. The Black Lagoon Leo just showed up in Targets system so he'll probably be hitting in the next month or so. I still need hunch back Leo I really hope they do another full set of turtles.
@wildnight8776 I have and I'm super on the fence about doing a video on them. I feel like it's kind of a mixed bag the turtles, krang, and Trap Jaw are cool but He Man and Man at Arms are kind of eh.

“Watermelon color-scheme.” Love it 🍉
@sorryalligator super 90's one of my favorites.
The Wanderer was indeed a one off, it was a in universe self insert fanfic Mikey made about himself
@briarshinn good look man I definitely could not remember the context.

You down for the TMNT Masters of the Universe stuff. It looks kinda cool.
@justinmohan7103 definitely going to get them but the He Man and Man at Arms feel like they're kind of underwhelming.
Sweet pick ups man
@Ardude641 thanks dude!

Just got the s.d.c.c mutant mayhem turtles, amazing
@scoutz1510 nice! those are def the mutant mayhem figures to have.
