@@zeezeebo true I was thinking just from my point of view. Where I am from Islam is seen as oppressive to women. My own son asked why I was willing to wear a hijab when it's a symbol of women's oppression. I got asked if my husband forced me to wear it. I get warned over and over again to not marry a Muslim. But truth is Islam is not like that at all. I have more rights and protection than I ever did before Islam. In Islam I am equal. In Islam I am valued and provided for. In Islam I can finally be me. In Islam I am not objectified. I am a revert just starting out. It's all new to me. It's all still a surprise.

You can always leave if you're not allowed to be musical(provided they accept you in the first place; one way around that is to keep your mouth shut about the guitar). Alternatively, you could join a convent and play and strum well into the night. But I'm afraid Islam does not do convents. Which is fine. We have to live with limitations. It is a mark of humility, indeed the bench-mark of any religiosity. Unfortunately I am well past the age of being tempted by anything much these days. Keep in mind though - if playing an instrument is haram, can you imagine how much more haram if you travelled on public transport, your hair wafting in the breeze, and you sit, crossed-legged, while wearing a skirt with a hemline just below the knee-cap.

mel bruni. In some cities paperback copies of the Koran are given away free. Maybe Christians should start doing the same giving away bibles. Christians are not always as devoted as they should be because Christianity is freer. I think you could buy or somehow obtain a copy of the Koran before your curiosity wanes and then you'll become a person with no real religion. So, get a Koran. You have nothing to lose! Good luck in your search for the best religion. I know of many people who converted to Islam and seem happier. And I know Muslims who converted to Christianity and they regret not having done it before. As we say, you win some, you lose some.

I’m not looking for a religion, I’m just very curious and feel like I need to see, research and read for myself what all religions are about. Especially with all that’s going on in the world, I don’t want to be the person who “dislikes” or “hates” something because media is giving the wrong ideas about it. I do feel like churches should give out more free bibles for anyone. I won’t necessarily say that Christians are not always as devoted, because that’s just a part of them. Also not everyone is devoted to the church, as some don’t find their perfect church or don’t always agree with what’s being preached in it. Have a blessed day 💗

We spend so much money on frivolities so spending money on a bible/koran/sex manual shouldn't be beyond anyone's bank balance. That said, it is good to want to know. Necessity is the mother of invention. And a question is sister to wisdom. And life is what we make of it. Life is wonderful(and will be even better after the pandemic is over).

Whipped cream, chocolate sauce, fruits etc. Basically eating or lixking it off of each others bodiies but without going somewhere haram. You can also feed each other to create more intiimacy. Without doubt, the 2nd speaker is absolutely wrong and this needed to be corrected.
The speaker stated “Allah has prohibited intimacy when a woman that is in her menstrual cycle.”
Most likely the speaker unaware of the difference between sex or intercourse and intimacy.
The prohibited is intercourse but intimacy, cuddling, closeness and being affectionate with the wife during her menstrual cycle is permissibly and much recommended by Islam to ease on the wife the emotional turbulence due to the menstrual cycle and pain.

A speaker talk on behave of Allah without authority Allah said in Quran Surat Al-Nahel Aya 116 “ And for what your tongues describe, do not utter the lie (saying ) this is lawful and this is unlawful, in order to forge a lie against Allah; surely who forge the lie against Allah not prosper”
Or channel owner who post clip without knowledge or review. If you don’t have the knowledge get someone with knowledge to review and approve.
Here a clip is been watched by 1.5 million Muslim and none Muslim will give the wrong impression about Islam and can be a reason for someone to get a distanced from Islam due to ignorance of the speaker and carelessness of the channel owner.

I’m a Christian and the first guy made a lot of sense, except when he used the word “spouses” in a plural manner. As you all know, we believe in having only one wife in our belief system, but if you have more than one wife in your belief system, you should definitely please them all, or else, why have them as wives if you’re not going to do your husbandly duty? I can definitely agree with some of the things said here, and even the things that I don’t agree with, I can certainly respect those who do. I am one of those people who don’t see why Christians and Muslims can’t be friends. I believe if we respect each other’s beliefs we can all get along well and live in peace and harmony. I have Muslim friends and although I don’t live like they do, I certainly respect them and the way they choose to live their lives and they respect me and the way I choose to live my life and we all get along very well.
But sister i would like to remind you that in Christianity its allowed to have more than one wife, even as much as you want . Only in Islam mentioned that the maximum number its 4. But in Christianity there is no limit. I don't know if you're aware of that or not. So it is your government who has legislated this, not the Christianity. In islam we are not forced to marry 4 wives but it depends on your choice.
Islam is the only religion to state “marry only one” polygamy has been in history for a loong time. Men married 100s of wives. But islam restricted it to 4! And only if a man can treat and aid them EQUALLY. If not then Quran says “marry one”. A woman has a right to also file a divorce if shes written in her marriage contract that her husband cannot marry another.

The Catholic Church (original christian religion) states that The Council of Trent condemns polygamy: "If any one saith, that it is lawful for Christians to have several wives at the same time, and that this is not prohibited by any divine law; let him be anathema.."
The Catechism forbids polygamy as a grave offense against marriage and contrary to the original plan of God and equal dignity of human beings.

They don't open much about how men must be. they rarely speak about men modesty, their skin tight jeans which also gain attention of different body parts instead, they always target women's dressing.

Simple and less luxurios weddings fullfilling all the rights to the bride by groom, gives more barakah to your life, according to Islam. Nora Sisi. God created sex(call it Nature). He also made sex pleasurable. So that' we'll do it. No pleasure = no sex = no children. And god wants many children. In fact sex has nothing to do with love but everything to do with lust(sexual desire). It is natural. Real love is OUTSIDE the bedroom. If sex was love, then we would do it with everybody. But we don't. We choose who we have sex with. It is selfish and self-seeking. And it works both ways. The couple are really like parasites, satisfying their sexual needs. People are made to fall in love by Nature and that is why couple are crazy about each other. And they make children. But being 'in love' and after that, one must learn to love with the head not with the selfish body. Loving with the head is difficult because it needs maturity. Many people do not understand this and this is the reason why divorce is so common(and not only in Islam).

Nora good point many men are ignorant and must understand it is a wonderful thing and not bad to partake in mutual pleasure with your spouse and respect her wishes. Linda I like your point too about majority of people must be mature to make their love last for a lifetime by surpassing the physical and understand the other mentally and s one does they even reach beyond to the other's soul and love them for who they are, not solely based on their physical aspects but to their core as God intended.
