Impressive introduction of CTLA4 and PD1. I am currently interested in the so called 'Immune checkpoint therapy' that includes these two signaling pathways. Is Macrophage the same as Dendritic cell (APC)? also is the costimulator on APC CD80/CD86? thanks

So CTLA4 is inhibitor and CD28 + PD1 are stimulator ? So we could activate them to fight cancer ?
