I only met Desmond Doss once and I only spoke with him briefly. Andrew Garfield is a bit taller than Mr. Doss was but I can't imagine how it would have been possible to choose anyone who would have been as able to BE Mr. Doss in the movie.

I'd like to think Desmond would have been proud of this movie they made on his story. I know i am, Andrew is beyond amazing at what he does.
