- After I made my DOORS OST video last week, this song was found in the game's files. Looks like it's an old version of Seek's chase music. I uploaded it anyway, though. This version was later remixed and used in the Seek Plush advert. I will upload this remix once the full version becomes available

I can't believe this made it to floor 2, toned down the higher pitch notes a bit, but it's nearly the same! Also god that ending, I can not wait to see more of Seek, I'm so glad he's more of a recurring villain, I was so worried he'd only be in floor 1, but clearly he's not gonna give up easily lol.

This should be in floor 2, especially with the old Seek model. It could give off the effect that Seek is damaged from the hotel fire, which gives him that deformed/warped appearance he used to have in 2020.
Update: They added it in The Mines, but it's remixed. I love it

I like how the lights are turned off so it actually means that the picture tells us that the old seek was supposed to turn of the lights
They did confirm itwould be in the dark and there would be no lights to guide you you would be alone well.. not alone.. since that thing is slowly closing in on you as you scramble to find any way out

Yess, they did re-use scrapped ideas and put them in the update. Maybe they can use this too?

ive been thinking its like a normal chase but then a life or death situation where seek is holding you with one of their hands, and youd have to mash e/tap constantly to escape the hand and if you escape you continue the chase and this happens multiple times during it and at the end you basically run into a room and shut the door, and you have to look for a crucfix, then after seek barges down the door and you have to stab it into seeks eye but its like a kinda minigame where you have to tap/press e to time it right in the green zone on the bar thing on the screen, if you do you can escape the room and slam the door, then stuff will fall blocking the door to prevent seek from opening it again
they used the same effects for the floor 2 chase music. good to see them re-using old stuff
they also used ''figure enraged'' for hotel+ that was in the files for quite a while
I don't know if seek has a second chase but this should play when you are closer to the end. It would make people realize that they got far only to die yet again.

@@Weirdcore_2314Yes. Now Seek comes in the doors 70ish. And the Greenhouse, it's Rush that comes but he becomes harder than Ambush cause you need to look for Snare, or for closets because it's dark. That's why the 90ish are the greenhouse. Ambush is now in the 80ish because in the old update Ambush was the hardest challenge before Figure, now it's the greenhouse. Before the update Ambush Hollow was in the 90ish, and now the 80ish.
The devolopers could make a really cool april fools update where they recreate the entire 2020 prototype build. That would be very cool

the old hotel honestly looks more modern than the current one, you can see the ceiling has all those tiles and actual lights instead of chandeliers along with concrete walls.
they redesigned because they created more "lore" to their game. in Game Theriosts words, Doors is a 1947s hotel used as a hospital for the hurt in WWII but after WWII pased they dipped on the hotel and then the monsters we know of today like Seek, Figure, Ambush, ECT, were patients in the hospital but they DIED and the evil things they did in the past emerged their demonic presence and now they haunt the hotel to take revenge on the poor people that did NOTHING. The entities wanted to make the people feel THEIR PAIN when they got shot and injured in WWII.. theres some history. Game Theorists made a part of it, i made a part of it.
@@cornchipvr it makes sense... rush represents their sins (what imma refer to the bad stuff they did in the past) striking at any moment, ambush represents their sins coming back for them, seek represents their original body trying to run from their sins, hide represents the fact how their original body could not hide for their sins forever and so on.

A lot of ideas in the comment section feel kinda samey with this being a second chase theme. I personally feel like this should be a battle theme. Imagine being able to actually fight back against Seek.

This was an og version of doors in late 2020 or early 2021 when the game was still in development seek was the first entity made and fun fact:
Seek would turn of the lights in the chase their would be no guiding light this music would play and a scarier creepy seek with 3 eyes would be chasing you (now that model is in doors hard-core mode).
Hardcore mode is fan-made incase you do not know.

Backdoor curious light is actually really good, I think guiding light just had enough and killed curious light, and then changed his light color to trick you to think curious light is actually helpful.
Seeks old song sounds like an alarm than the one we have now
Idea for a seek incounter in floor2: he appears and you run from him but at the end he busts the door down and you must run more but eventually hands block the door and your forced to fight him and make him run to a spot where ruble will fall on him. Phase 1 (normal chase) will play the normal theme. Phase 2 (chase through the normal hallways) will play this. The final phase (making ruble fall on him) will play a more intense version of seek moving
This could be in murder drones episode 5
where Tessa and J find Seek under the ruble and he
sees them as enemies so he frees himself and tries to save himself

The track was uploaded to roblox about 3 months after the one used in game and has v2 in its name so there is a chance they use it some day

there's multiple vents you can crawl through where seek can't, allowing you to navigate through safely

I honestly like the ReDead model of Seek better, but when we include lore, my headcannon would say that the current version is more accurate because I think Seek is a liquid based on the new Seek chases and Door 200. I also liked how they kinda remixed this for Floor 2.

This is cool, and I like this take on seek's chase. I think it would have been cool, but I do see why they scrapped it. While it does feel nervous, it doesn't have the same sense of urgency and "oh shit i gotta run". Still a good chase theme though.

Wowzers confirmed that some entities will be returning in floor 2 so there is a high chance for seek to be in floor 2
pretty sure seek will play the antagonist role for this floor, we saw his eyes looking down at us at the end of hotel+, and since figure is away in god knows where, theres a high chance seek will take his role since hes already pissed at us for escaping him twice.

honestly imo the first thirty seconds would likely fit a floor 2 teaser trailer if you remove the high-pitched synth and extend the drums a little at around the 31 second mark. it just gives me those kinda vibes yknow? maybe add the faint little recurring melody at the actual song's end too (i think in this song it's a guiding light leitmotif)
seek mines chase rant:
seek eyes begin to appear on cave walls and then you enter a long ravine where the eyes disappear. there is a mine cart on the end followed by tracks that lead into a dark tunnel. suddenly, black goop drips from the ceiling, and after a couple of seconds, seek falls down as well. the music begins and you run into the cart (if you don’t, he’ll catch you). guiding light pushes it and off you go. you eventually go very deep down as seek is right behind you. you’re greeted with stone bridges above lava, which your tracks are placed on. there are levers on the bridge than turn the tracks. some of the bridges break off into the lava, so you have to turn the levers extremely quickly before you trail off into the lava. seek jumps into a different mineshaft, so you are left alone, going at rapid speeds having to flick levers. however, some will turn the tracks so that you fall, so guiding light shows you which ones will save your life and which ones will end it. eventually, if you make it through the lava room, you travel through a straight tunnel and the tracks in front of you are mangled. guiding light halts your cart so that you don’t flip over, and instantly, seek crashes through a barricaded tunnel to the left of you. you have to outrun him on foot, ducking under things and dodging flames like the original chase. after probably two rooms like that, you make it to the end and guiding light pushes some gravel down on top of seek, burying him.
..he’s enraged now (second seek chase is that but 2x harder).

How to beat seek v2 (concept)
To get past seek, you must sneek around finding pieces of the gate key.
There will be puddles of goop that can trap you, along with a oh-so-satisfying "splat"
Setting your foot in the goop will alert seek and must hide from him by hiding under the goop (make sure to hold your breath 💀)

Unused seek chase ost? but literally if I'm not mistaken now it is used, at least in the seek chase of Floor 2, although it has the difference of being a little faster and that they made it as a Mashup of Here i Come and this ost, I literally don't know used this soundtrack, until August 30, 2024

yeah i like how this was re-done for the mines. i just wish they'll eventually bring back seek's old model, or atleast a redone version of it, some time in a later floor or update.
They didn’t use this model because of the posture. Because it wasn’t properly modelled, it would have been difficult to animate. Therefore leading them to create a new model.

i see this in floor 3s ending, when seek is running up an elevator shaft and you use crates to attack him, and in the escape the hotel scene where you throw explosives at seek, killing him, and you have to escape the hotel, it could be mixed with unhinged II, Elevator jam, Elevator Jammed and curious light
